The Central Hotel is in the center of Narva, in a quiet and safe area across from the police station.
The building was constructed at the end of 19th century for the mayor of Narva and turned into a hotel in 2002.
There is an open terrace, 2 saunas and an Internet terminal on the fourth floor. The bar serves breakfast in the morning and dishes in the evening.
Only 1000 ft from Narva Castle and the Narva River, the Central Hotel offers beautiful views of the river and the Ivangorod Fortress on the Russian bank.

Review 1：We couldn't take a shower because the water was cold. Also, we requested a large bed and instead got two small beds put together

Review 3：We stayed for a 1 night, before going to the est-rus border. Hotel is located perfectly for city walks, shopping, sightseeing. Hotel provided breakfast (preorder hot dish and small variety of sereals, fruits, yogurts), parking in the yard (free). That time we have a room on the trird floor. It is small balcony-terrace close to the room. In summer I suppose it is nice to have there a glass of vine or something.

Review 4：I used to stay in room N25, wifi access is not well in room apartments . Of course in reception area it has been working well.

Review 5：Everything is fine, hotel is really located near old tower, car parking is free and safe in restricted area near hotel, breakfast is nice

Review 6：The guest wifi signal was too weak to connect to in the room. The breakfast was meagre and the omelet offered was microwaved. Some of the services listed at booking.com were not available, such as laundry and restaurant.

Review 7：The hotel has a central location with comfortable walking distance to everything you must see in Narva. The room was nice, big, comfortable and impeccably clean.

Review 8：My room was on the third floor and there in no lift in the hotel, so it was a bit tough with my heavy suitcase :) But it's just a detail.

Review 10：The walls of rooms are very "thin". So no privacy from neighbors. The WiFi is not stable. Cable TV has only only couple channels. Breakfast menu is really poor. Very small parking lot.

Review 13：Nice hotel, in a small сute building with helpful staff. We got cozy room on the second floor with parking view, so if you travel by car and you worry about it - you can watch it all the night ;-) Breakfast include: bread, yogurt, cereal, butter, jam, cookies. And the main dish you have to order. We tried pancakes (three pancakes with sour cream) and omelette (piece of omelette with two sausages, salad and ketchup). Omelette wins!

Review 48：Bathroom and room are clean, the size of the room is correct (not too small), the reception is very welcoming (and they speak English). About breakfast, it's not among the best I've ever had in hotels, but they make efforts to prepare for you some eggs. For the price it is really a good hotel and I recommend it if you have to go to Narva.

Review 49：Silent quiet hotel about border. We arrived for the weekend to take a walk on the castle and to go on the sea. To Narva Yesuu by bus of 20 minutes the trip costs 1 euro. Breakfasts a little monotonous, but always hot, fried eggs when we came to have breakfast, instead of in advance.

Review 59：The hotel is very friendly and its smaller size gives a more personal touch. The breakfast was efficient and included a selection of hot dishes served individually to each guest. The wifi didn't work in the room at first but we were given a cable to solve the problem or could use the wifi from the lobby or downstairs bar. The room was large and quiet,and the hotel is well located. There is a secured parking area. This is my second visit to Narva but the first time at this hotel; next time I would select this hotel again.

It’s surprising a nice renovated hotel not invested in its own “hot water system”. A reduction of 10% was offered as compensation for the inconvenience … but not for Booking.com guests. As a Booking.com guest already pays a low price, I got only 1,5 Euro- compensation a person for having no hot water. Not a very good guest- friendly signal of Central Hotel to Booking.com.

Review 61：Nice large room, same as on the picture (red decoration), large TV, bathroom with products and clean. Breakfast was good for short stay; every day the same plate with eggs, sausages, ham & cheese.

Review 63：Just like in most hotels, if they have single rooms its some “lost” corner, here it’s not much different. But putted everything together it was reasonable; small TV, bathroom (no products) and clean. Breakfast was good for short stay; every day the same plate with eggs, sausages, ham & cheese.

Review 66：Only cold water available. They knew it 24 hours before my arrival, but did not advise. This wasn't a big problem as outdoor temp was +24C.

Review 68：The hotel was about a 5 minute walk to the border & fortress, as well as close to a pub and a restaurant (in addition to their own restaurant in the hotel). The breakfast was included in the price, and was surprisingly tasty and decently portioned. The room I had was on the top floor, and was fairly dated except the bathroom that was very nice. I believe they state they have a 'terrace' which is really just a common glorified balcony, but nice to step out for some fresh air on the top floor. A good value for your money.
