Reviews for Can Reus Hotel
Review 1:Just not an hotel for young poeple. If you are under 60 yo, don't gothere. The room is comfortable but that's all.The breakfast is far not so good as we read on Booking.com. The decoration is just...OLD...two rocking chairs near a little table and that's it. Not so much light in the room. Honestly, I think it's easy to find another place better in this beautiful village.
Review 2:The mountains around Fornalutx. Except this, nothing was as expected.
Review 3:Terrible water supply
Review 4:A lovely retreat in the hills. Wonderful & unusual breakfasts. Very relaxed. Lovely varied rooms & décor. A very special place.
Review 5:Our room at the front of the hotel was a little on the small side
Review 6:Excellent breakfast and beautiful terrace to have it on In a good town which has plenty of restaurants and not far from the coast Beautiful building with a mix of French and Spanish style Very lovely welcome with some Cava as we were on our honeymoon
Review 7:The bed is not comfortable. An extra mattress would do wonders. No reading light in the room.
Review 8:Adorable little hotel, serving a delicious breakfast. Excellent advise on trekking paths in the area.
Review 9:The staff were fantastic both before and during our visit, they couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is beautiful and the location out of this world.
Review 10:Room was rather small. Prize is rather high compared to the quality of room.
Review 11:Charming place, located in a quiet street with a mountain view. Great place for hikers. Excellent breakfast and service.
Review 12:Noise from the kitchen at 8am woke us up one morning
Review 13:The location is outstanding The garden and terrace is a great place to sit and enjoy the mountain view.
Review 14:We are regular visitors to this part of the world but this was the first time to Fornalutz. The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the valley with incredible views. The hotel is small enough to be friendly and intimate, but big enough to not be in the pockets of other guests. The owners and staff are warm and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts were superb. Vegetarian no problem.
Review 15:Everything except what I say I didn't like..
Review 16:Wi-fi very slow and intermittent - our room was located on the top floor. Which also meant a very low-powered shower - which is only a problem if you have long hair like me or want a power shower…. (There was also an over-supply of ants in the bathroom…!) If the shower and wifi bother you, I would just check which floor your room is as Im sure it wouldn't be a problem elsewhere.
Review 17:Great location, a fantastic breakfast that was a bit different every day - which meant you looked forward to it. Staff, sweet natured, hard-working, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Incredible view and a very pretty garden with a small pool.
Review 18:Loved everything!
Review 19:Friendly but not intrusive staff. Stunning location and tastefully furnished hotel. Amazing breakfasts served on terrace. Did not want to leave as we felt so relaxed after a week.
Review 20:Pool area is a bit small to share adults with families who came with children and did not always control their behaviour. Rooms at the front of the hotel are a gamble, we had 6 quiet nights and a loud one due to street noise or noise from the building opposite.
Review 21:Hotel is very charming. It was generally very peaceful especially at night. Views are excellent. Terrace is a nice space. The breakfast is fresh, generous and different everyday. Staff are charming and helpful.
Review 22:The gardens and pool were beautiful. The staff very hands off and we felt very relaxed and at home here. Stunning views and great location. We'll be back.

Review 33:nothing
Review 34:everything
Review 35:No hot water the first night and the following morning and we were only staying two nights. No apology or explanation given.
Review 36:Peace and quiet.
Review 37:Noisy, There was no info at all when we arrived. We had to work out for ourselves from other guests when breakfast was etc! The room was so noisy we couldn't sleep. For the price it was ridiculous.
Review 38:The setting and the village are great.
Review 39:I liked everything. One or two little points. Sun loungers and garden furniture could do with replacing. Area in front of house next door was a little untidy spoiling what is otherwise an idyllic spot.
Review 40:We loved the rustic charm of the hotel. It is a beautiful.old atmospheric place. Gardens are stunning. Breakfasts were a feast for the senses. A little different everyday and lovingly prepared. Adriana was so helpful and kind. We loved Fornalutx. It had everything you could want right on the doorstep. Wonderful walks, little restaurants and cafes and useful shops and if you wanted to travel to Soller you could go by taxi or bus or walk if you wanted to.
