Reviews for Hotel Pierre Loti

Review 1:The hotel is wonderfully relaxed and quiet, off the main road and a small walk to the beach and restaurants. The family who own it are lovely and helpful and sitting in the garden for fresh orange and croissants for breakfast, was the most relaxed I've felt for years. No air-con leaves you to the elements some-what but with fans and those big shutters, it was really no problem. If you want to relax in some peace and quiet, on a budget, then you won't do better than here.

Review 2:Not too keen on the hand held shower and shower curtain nor the old bi fold bathroom door and although I don't think we were overlooked, it would have been nice to have a blind in the bathroom for when the light was on. But to be honest, we got used to these things very quickly and they were not really a problem.

Review 3:I chose this hotel as a trip down memory lane from a summer holiday spent on the Cote d'Azur 50 years ago. It had the look and feel of a very large old family home with a secluded garden in a quiet part of Juan Les Pins. The owners are lovely, very friendly and full of local information. The continental breakfast was very good with croissant, pan au chocolate and local baguette, very good coffee and orange juice, which we ate in the garden every morning. The hotel is located in a quiet residential road just 10 minutes walk to the lovely sandy beach, 10 minutes to the town with lots of cafes and restaurants, 15 minutes to the station - from where we took the train all the way to Menton for the amazing views. The hotel is only 7 minutes to the local bus which we took as far as Nice for just 1.50 euro and the same the other way to Cannes. It is only a 20 minutes walk into beautiful Antibes or 12 minutes by bus. The hotel bedroom is furnished with basic, old utilitarian furniture but had everything we needed plus a TV and there is wifi. The bed was very comfortable with crisp fresh bed sheets and the towels in the bathroom were changed every day. There is no air conditioning nor fan in the room but although it was about 26 degrees when we were there (from 7th-12th of May) the lovely old shutters seemed to do their job of keeping the room cool. The bathroom was very old but very clean with a shower cubicle with a curtain and a hand held shower which took a bit of getting used to but the shower head had good pressure and lots of hot water. There is free parking at the hotel if you have a car. We thought this was a very inexpensive hotel, no frills, but bags of charm lovely owners and we had a very nice 5 day stay here in May 2015; we would come back and would recommend it.

Review 4:Very friendly owners who looked after us.

Review 5:Bus or train to Cannes stop running at 8:30 in evening --- too early.

Review 6:Proprietor was friendly and helpful.

Review 7:no air con

Review 8:loved location, shirt walk to beach, and 20 min walk to Antibes. Free parking

Review 9:the reception close at around 10pm and there was no automatic check-in

Review 10:Отель ничем не понравился, кроме того, что он был единственный со свободными номерами во время проведения крупного мероприятия во Дворце Фестивалей в Каннах в радиусе 10 км

Review 11:it should be renovated especially bathroom. Bathroom was the worst that I have seen before. The towels were so old that their colours are grey as it is used for years.

Review 12:The garden and free parking. Free wifi

Review 13:The hotel & rooms are tasteful, simple, clean and comfortable. Very quiet surroundings (in May), so a good night sleep is guaranteed. An inviting garden with singing birds and big lemons in the tree. Very helpful and kind owners. Nice, Antibes and Cannes easy to reach by public transport.

Review 14:AC would have been nice.

Review 15:Very kind couple of owner. Very present and at disposal of guests. Very good location not to far away from beach, but quite calm for Juan-les-Pins. In a positive sense: very french!

Review 16:The flip side of old world charm is that it is a bit faded and in needof a lick of paint

Review 17:It was rather charming with big windows and old Provençal shutters oneopening onto a little terrace. It was in a quiet street but only 5 minswalk from the beach

Review 18:There is no night-reception! Check-in is only 'til 22. I wrote we wouldhave come at 23ish, but due to traffic jam we arrived after 1am. Thehotel was closed and so we had to find out another hotel for the 1stnight! And the next day we didn't have any refund.
