Review 1：No facility at rear of hotel i.e. No garden. Also I requested for the hotel to ask for a taxi from the hotel to the ferry and this was overlooked by one of the staff.

Review 3：The hotel is clean and tidy if a bit tired and in need of some TLC. The room and bathroom were both very small yet I paid for a superior double room ?? The facilities were only just acceptable and very minimalist. We ordered breakfast but when we saw what was actually on offer we cancelled.

Review 4：You are clearly paying for the sea view which is excellent. The wifi was also good but would only accept one device.

Review 10：I've used the Windsor when in Dieppe for many years and never regret doing so. It's quiter than many of the other seafront hotels and seems to be somehow protected from the noise of gulls and bells. The panoramic view from the breakfast/dining room is worth the reasonable cost of staying there.

Review 11：No bad experiences, but only one lift, which is small, and I could find no stairs. Its a bit irritating, but you do wonder what would happen if the lift broke down.

Review 14：Let us leave the car outside and they moved it if in the way. We arrived late but made us feel relaxed and welcome. Tea making facilities.

Review 15：The taxi driver booked by your hotel cheated us. He charged over 10euros to return to the ferry whereas the taxi booked by the ferry charged 7euros for the same trip. Breakfast finishing at 9am was poor, so we missed breakfast. Not being allowed to use the table and chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee with sea view in the breakfast room was poor. I am disabled and my friend is over eighty and we were forced to sit on high stools in the bar area which was difficult and uncomfortable for both of us.

Review 16：The cat sitting in reception was lovely. It made the place feel homely., the beds was comfortable and clean and the shower nice and hot.

Review 17：parking extremely difficult as it was a Sunday in August. Restaurant is closed every Sunday but there are plenty of restaurants 5 minutes walk away near the marina

Review 19：Shoddy and out dated fixtures and fittings, plastic dirty disposable cups for tea/coffee, very poor value for money, better rooms elsewhere in Dieppe.

Review 20：If you have a fair sized pram, room doors & lift may cause you hassle as all very narrow. Lovely old building but a bit of a maze and rooms could do with modernising.

Review 22：No-one told us in advance they would want our car keys. The menu was unimaginative and overpriced for what was offered so we didn't eat there. There was no information folder in the room; we had to ask about everything. There was no milk for morning tea and the plastic cups and plastic glasses were not replaced every day.

Review 34：Horrendous trying to get parked . The whole of France seemed to have descended on Dieppe. It was Saturday afternoon. Nearly all off the hotels seem to use the roads for parking. Spent endless time driving up and down until the full sign disappeared in the underground car park where i found a spot overnight at a reasonable €4.50

We stayed at the hotel two years ago and the standard has not deteriorated in any way since then. Will stay there again

Review 48：1. I e-mailed the hotel twice to check bikes could be kept overnight securely and under over. I received no reply beforehand - they were secure but not under cover. 2. It would have been helpful to know the restaurant was open for Easter Sunday evening and then I would not have had to find and book somewhere else. 3. I chose a cheap room but there was no kettle or tea / coffee making facilities as advertised. Provided as soon as I asked though.

Review 58：The location was right on the seafront and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was also great value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel and shall be coming again.

Review 65：Very little tea and coffee and no milk, which we thought was a bit strange, but then Europeans often drink their hot drinks black! Room was quite small and there were only 3 coat hangers but we were only there for 2 nights so was not a major problem for us.

Review 66：The staff were polite and the room was clean. Location was good and near all facilities. Could park at the front of the hotel, but that may have caused a problem if they had been busy as there were only spaces for about 5 cars.

Review 69：According to the receptionist, there's only one taxi driver inDieppe – and he'll only take you to the port for 20 euros! If youwant to catch the 6am ferry, you have no choice but to pay it (too farto walk with luggage at that time of the morning...). WiFi in the roomdidn't work at all. A mirror in the bedroom would be good.

Review 70：It was an easy walk (10-15 mins) from the train station to the hotel,which is on the (rather bleak) seafront. Dieppe old town looked nice butI wasn't there long enough to explore. Nice bed, nice bathroom, anda kettle - which is unusual in France. Fine for a night's sleepbefore catching the 6am ferry.

Review 76：We booked this hotel because of the onsite parking and the wifi. Do not believe either. For the whole of the hotel there were 6 parking spaces in front of the reception. No apologies were made we were just told we would have to find a space on the sea front. Even thought this was free, it's not the same as knowing your car in a secure location. The wifi worked for about 5 minutes and after that closed down our computer and the wifi connection never returned.

Review 83：The pics on internet do not do the rooms or hotel justice. The food wasexcellent set menu, the retsaurant had wonderful sea views in apanoramic style unique to this hotel. Staff were polite and relaxed andwarm and helpful. We were greeted by the hotel cat which was also uniqueexperience. This hotel is stones throw from beach, outdoor swimming andspa complex (which Le Mercure mention as if there own!) And also town.Breakfast was continental but very good. We booked saver room for 62euros, in pics it looked pokey, but it was lovely. Bathroom great, nicewarm powerful shower, flat screen tv with english channels, tea, coffeeand kettle, hairdryer. I am so glad I booked this hotel, I was sorelaxed and happy hear. The pictures do not do it justice.

Decor of one of your most expensive suites was very out of date and I would have expected a more modern decor and larger bed for a large suite. Most modern hotels have duvets now and not sheets and blankets. The overall decor of the common parts and our wonderfully positioned balcony were poor. I would not recommend this hotel as it's too expensive for what you get.
