Review 1：The room was clean but the corridors were dull and dingy. In my opinion the hotel needed sprucing up and a bit of TLC.
Review 2：The hotel was OK for an overnight stop (we were on bicycles) though I found it lacking in charm.
Review 3：Great location - other than on market days (2 per week), when the large car park outside the front door becomes a market worth visiting. Other parking is available and is only a short walk away. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but next door is the L'Avano, a fantastic restaurant.
Review 4：It's a 15 minute walk to the main beach or you can pay the localferryman a euro or two to cut 10 minutes off the walk.

Don't miss the local grilled sardines at L'Avano ortheir great dessert menu. L'Avano is right next door. You are reallyin the centre of town at La Sterne.

Review 7：The hotel is well located, overlooking the main square in St Gilles. The couple running the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly and provided a very secure indoor storage location for my bicycle.
