Review 2：The best thing was the loan of a kettle and cups from reception and the indoor pool which is lovely and warm,ideal for exploring the Vendee area.

Review 4：Very near centre of Saint Gilles Croix De Vie.lovely pool area. Very quiet. Lovely cycle routes in area - especially from Saint Gilles to Bretognilie Sur Mer along the coast.

Review 5：One of the rooms smelt heavily of smoke but we asked to be moved and it wasn't a problem.

Review 7：Really friendly and helpful receptionist ( think she was the owner) great to have a swim in outdoor or indoor pool after a hard days cycle. Laundry room that could be used. Fridge in room and use of kettle if required.

Review 28：i have to add that Cecile at reception was a wonderful host, she was always willing to help and spoke both English and French. She went out of her way to help and accomondate the guests, such as providing info on local attractions to proving glasses she was so helpful and kind and made our vist very special. She is a very warm and friendly member of staff and a real credit to the Edena hotel.

Review 29：The hotel is very clean. The outdoor swimming pool and gym was nice. The indoor pool is clean but in need of being updated. The balconies of the studios need to be maintained. The studio apartment was good for 2 adults and 2 children. It had a hob, dishwasher and microwave. The room was exceptionally clean the cleanest hotel I have been in to date. The sheets and towels also clean. The hotel is in a great location. The hotel is a 3 star. it is clean but some areas need updating. The reception is very friendly and always willing to help.

Review 30：Only one receptionist speaking good English; others are afraid to talkto foreigners. If you decide to take a studio facing the street, beaware that this street is very busy (you have a "pleasant" choice -windows closed and very hot inside or windows open and very noisyinside. Definitely go for the one facing garden - you will enjoy it

Review 31：The infructructure of the complex is very good - you may do sports andspend time there in several ways (swimming pools, basketeball, tennisetc). Rooms are rather small, but you are not going to this region tospend time in the room. Reception overall was ok, but only thanks to oneof the ladies (Cecile), who is definitely a star. Others should learnfrom her. Location is ok as long as you are ready to go to the beach bycar, otherwise it's pretty far.

Review 32：The look of the hotel from the road was very misleading - you might have discounted it from the road but once inside the rooms were lovely and beautifullybdecorated with luxurious bathrooms.
