Review 1：Hard beds and bad sound isolation between appartments
Review 2：Perfect view from balconies in block B. Worth paying 50Euro extra to stay in block B (most quiet) and good view. Good location. Short way to the nice local beach. Good sized appartments
Review 3：If you want to be in Porto Colom, the location is decent. Remote if you want to relax, and a medium walk to the center of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Review 6：Strong smell of cleaning agent in the room and in the lobby. Bed too short and too weak for people taller than 180cm. Bathroom not perfectly clean.

Review 8：They don´t clean the appartment and if you don´t clean the appartment or take out the trash they charge you 50 euros. (Clean the kitchen is ok, but the trash? Trash is too much, come on! And you need to put the trash outside the hotel - they don´s have a trash space inside, for me was kind of idiot. They have te most oily fried eggs I ever seem in my life. We are still trying to figure how they could do eggs with bags of oil inside... was a mistery the way they fried it!
Review 9：The staff were friendly and help us on the last day providing a take away breakfast since we were leaving at 7am and the breaksfast just open from 8:30am to 10:30am Is a good pace to stay if you want a appartment with a kitchen to go to the east beaches. They have the backs to the sea but it was very dirty because of the tide and the Cala (beach) beside the hotel that was very crowded (but was august so everything was crowded) It´s a quiet place and I believe the disco that other reviews complained about is no longer open! so was very quiet. We asked for a Sea view appartment but they "sea view" part was 10% of the view... so was not nice. They have some rooms with a better view for sure. The water from the tap and shower is sooo salty! My hair becames dry and hard because of that. I don´t know if it´s because of the part of the island cause we stayed in other parts and the water was normal. They have a lot of stores, mini market around, but no goood restaurants, just bars with bar-snacks kind of food.
Review 10：we had to leave your facility in the middle of our vacation, in details we were booked to stay from 30/06 to 07/07, but we decided to leave the hotel the 03/07. There are several reasons of dissatisfaction that made us take this decision, please find here a few examples. At the arrival we’ve been asked to pay the whole charge (€ 587) although it was clearly indicated in our reservation that only € 200 were requested at the arrival. We have shown this at the reception, but we have been asked to pay the whole fee anyway. Air conditioning was not available in the bedroom, but only in the leaving room. Furthermore, in the bedroom balcony there was the engine of the airco, meaning that we had all the noise of it but no benefits (and you know which temperature we had in Spain last weeks!) We discovered also that the gym and the sauna you advertise among the included services were not for free, but at a price of € 6 at hour! In addition, and this is probably the main reason for us to leave the hotel, at arrival we were told the gym and sauna were not available, due to restructuring. Due to our health conditions we are obliged to use the gym every day, and at the moment of booking we have been looking at this as a mandatory option for us. We have clearly selected your Apartment because of the availability of a gym and a sauna. After two days the gym was put back in service, but at our first utilization we noticed that the equipment were completely unusable, old, unsuitable and extremely dangerous to use (furthermore at an incredible expensive cost - € 6 at hour!) We have been extremely damaged by this situation, due to the poor service offered at your facility our vacation has been ruined and we had to suffer for many more expenses to review our travel planning.
Review 11：cleaning quality below average. Policy is cleaning each 4 days..,but i need to personally request it over and over at the reception..,and when it is finally done is poor. Bathroom equipment old and deprecated . No entertainment in the evening. You have to pay for everything extra... Internet, printing your boarding pass, safe, ... Portocolom itself does not offer too much, small village( but with a nice beach and good restaurants nearby)

I was very disappointed to be told that I would have to pay extra to change rooms- even though it was impossible to get any sleep in the room I was in,

Review 17：The nightclub opposite kept the entire hotel up until 7am on the day if our race. The town was extremely quiet yet the club was very loud so dread to think what this will be like In summer. Asked for a refund of that nights stay and never had a response from anyone.
Review 18：There were very few English speaking tourists in the area. Parts of Portocolom were a bit rundown. The air condoning left pools of water on the balcony.
Review 19：For the view alone Portomar was amazing. The nearby beach of Cala Marsal is one of the best beaches on the island. Some lovely restaurants down by the harbour especially Sa Llotja. Hire a car and explore the coastline some beautiful beaches and amazing scenery.

Review 22：Towel reservation of sunbeds with the result of more than half of the sunbeds are empty most of the day. I 2014 internet should be a part op the hotel price - this is not so in Pierre & Vacances Mallorca Portomar. If you are a family of 4 you have to pay 20€ per device/week (80€). The tangential usurious rates. However free internet in the reception is slow and for free. All plates and cutlery in our appartment were very dirty with sauce and meat leftovers. The were no toilet paper in the appartment when we arrived. If you stay for more than a week at the hotel the check-in and check-out time are for some reason unfavorable. Portocolum is a very small town and quick overlooked.
Review 23：If you are lucky and have one of the appartment with sea view - you have a fantastic view. The hotel's physical surroundings are good but worn. The pool area is great with a fantastic view to the sea. The pool is cleaned every day and is very clean.
Review 24：No aircon - only provide a week fan in the living room. This wasn't made clear in booking!! made it really uncomfortable to stay in Room overlooked 3 very loud bars that play very loud music and kareoke till 3 in the morning. With no aircon and poor sound proofing, it was impossible to sleep!! No attention to booking- we had 3 people stay in a 3 people room but only had one set of bedding and two sets of towels. Had to chase up reception for a whole day to get this fixed. And, when it was fixed, cleaners got it wrong again when room was cleaned. Room only cleaned every 4 days including change of bed linen and towels. This is their standard policy. No full time reception. Reception closes at 10pm. When we arrived in the early hours of the morning, reception was closed and locked up. If like us you get in at that hour, you must call security on your mobile and wait to be let in. No beach towels provided

Review 43：The apartments were clean but had laminate flooring which was quite dusty when we arrived, so we cleaned it ourselves. We also cleaned the outdoor furniture which was very dusty. The sofa was not very comfortable, especially for 4 people. There was no mid-week maid service, only a towel change. Kettle did not work and toaster was missing. We reported this twice to reception but nothing was done. There were only three wine glasses between our two apartments (for six people). Although the lounge and reception area was nice, it was spoiled by the smell of cigarette smoke from a member of staff. Porto Mar could be really good, but just lacked TLC.

Review 45：Unfortunately very little English spoken so made it hard to communicate with any queries. Two female staff in the bar cafe area were very surly and unhelpful to the point of rudeness on each occasion they served us. I feel the hotel could improve on customer relations although this did not apply to all staff a smile goes a long way to welcoming guests even when there is a language barrier!! Very little information given regarding anything including breakfast, bar etc ...
