Review 1：Nothing bad to report.
Review 2：We loved this hotel. Shady, relaxed garden, clean and quiet room with kitchenette, enabling us to be somewhat self sufficient. Good wifi connection (free) The manager was very approachable and friendly - went out of his way to look after us.
Review 3：The manager kindly moved us to an apartment when we asked for a quieter room on the garden side. Hotel HR is close to the station and supermarket, good value.

Review 6：The building itself is old and badly mantained. Common areas look like basements:low ceilings, few light and pipes all around the place. Once we arrived,the reception was closed and no one was anwering the "emergency phone". To get to your room, there is no elevator,so you need to walk up a very creepy staircase. Room was fairly big,but walls are totally not insulating noises. Toilet was one pre-fabricated block put into walls,which was kind of disgusting (also because of the gap between the bathroom floor and the bedroom floor,where every kind of animal could have been hiding). Room was dirty, matteress was totally unconfy, windows were sticky, our feet were black just after a few steps on the ground. It was horrible. Do not get there anytime for any reason!

Review 23：The guy at the reception did not really speak and understand english nor french, although he was very nice and tried to help us. However he did not understand our questions. The room was absolutelly not isolated, so we heard all the noises from neighbours. The bed had a hole in the middle, so we slept really badly.
Review 24：We had noticed the worries expressed over the Internet, yet we have found that all of these worries did not exist. It was completely cleansed and replenished. With its perfect location, just 5 min from the train station, and bargain price, Hotel HR is undoubtedly the best option when staying in Corte.

Review 26：Hotel is only 5min walk from the train station, so great for anybody arriving by train. City centre is close, maybe 8min walk. Staff were welcoming and gave us helpful tips for exploring the surroundings. The hotel is set back a bit from the street, so is reasonably quiet even when facing the street. As a bonus, there's a really nice garden with tables to sit, and a pool.

Review 29：Extremely disappointing. Room was dirty (dust everywhere, dead bugs, spider webs) and ugly (lavatory and mirror are next to the bed, outside bathroom). Bathroom was a shame. No shower curtain (impossible to have a quick shower without flooding the floor), no soap. No TV. Breakfast was poor and not served on time. Staff should be more professional. They charged my card on the first night even though they said they wouldn't do it (I wanted to pay with a different card). Rooms on the 4th floor without elevator. Location is a good 10/15 min walk from the center of Corte. Expensive for what it is.

Review 31：It is a very stark facility with no real esthetic to recommend it. The dismal room provided the necessities but felt like a gulag. The bathroom was molded pink plastic that looked like it was taken from an airplane and planted in the room. There is only the hand-held shower option. If the showerhead once attached to the wall, it was long gone. Its fine if you are looking for the most bare-bones of an accommodation.
Review 32：It's location in Corte is across the river from the centre ville. The reception desk gave us directions to follow a pedestrian path over a bridge and into the centre. It gave us a chance to get a real feel for the town, the university, its people.

Hey, we only paid 45 Euro a night for a double room! It doesn't come much cheaper than that... And it was better thanexpected at that price. We were there on a quick visit to Corte and wereonly looking for somewhere in a convenient location that was clean &cheap. Hotel hr ticked all those boxes !
