Review 1：My mother had problems in her room with the heating system which was in need because of quite fresh nights and very high humidity. The staff wasn't able to fix it during our stay. The house keeping should definitely work better.

Review 2：The location is fantastic. The restuarant in the hotel is just perfect. The feeling you get when you see this picturesque view from the large balcony is really worth staying in the hotel.

Review 8：The staff was very friendly! We arrived very early, but were allowed to stay at the hotel area (breakfast and pool) even though our room was not free yet. The staff was very obliging and open, they suggested nice travel places and also early checkout was no problem. The location is very nice, the hotel, the pool area and the restaurant is clean and comfy. A nice beach is close-by (within a 10 min walk) and so are restaurants and bars.

Review 27：The bathroom and the kitchenette weren't very clean, there was a strange stain on the floor below the fridge and we found some disgusting hairs from previous guests in the bathtub. The tiles in the bathroom were covered with some paint which is already peeling off.

Review 28：The fantastic sea views, the spacious apartment itself, the balcony. The staff was friendly and the whole apartment complex is very well-equipped. The sun loungers at the pool were great and the food at the restaurant was pretty tasty.

Review 29：the room (we booked the very last one available) hardly had a view on the sea. So do not expect to be sitting on the balcony in the evening, overlooking the ocean - better specifically ask for one that has a good view. Water pressure was very low - barely usable. Bathroom had seen better days. Maybe it was this particular one only, but ours had had a pretty lousy pumbing repair and paint job.

Review 33：The self catering facilities within the apartment are limited. A kettle and a toaster would be much appreciated. The coffee machine provided produces drinks in smaller volumes than the British palate is used to, although with some manipulation of the controls you can eventually create a decent sized cup of coffee.

Review 34：Whilst other hotels may say they have sea views, at Orange Colom you are literally on top of the sea. Set on the cliff edge overlooking the entrance to Porto Colom harbour, the view across to the lighthouse and out to sea is stunning. The apartment complex is visually very attractive and well maintained, and guests are made to feel special and valued. The rooms are spacious and fully air conditioned.

Review 51：Perfect place with an awesome view of the ocean. I loved Porto Colom that is not too crowded with tourists and is a very lovely harbor with some nice restaurants. At Orange Colom we felt at home. Enjoyed every moment and felt a really warm and personal dedication from the people there. Remember to book friday at the golf club barbecue a week ahead :-)

Review 96：Longish walk to town if you want the main harbour restaurants without driving - parking can be awkward if you get back late evening. 5 night stay & bed linen changes were a bit haphazard (1 on the last day) & no towel change - a change of both mid stay would have been nice.

Easy access to a secondary area of bars & restaurants, but far enough to have no noise issues. Very relaxed town but with the usual bars, restaurants, boat trips, jet skis, supermarkets, pharmacy etc. & no street hustlers! :-)

Review 98：There isn't a table on the terrace of your room which is a pitty because of the magnificent view which you want to enjoy during breakfast or diner. Porto Colom has an nice old harbour, but nevertheless there isn't much to do or see in the town.

Although the hotel is in new hands and was being refurbishedduring our stay, the staff make a professional impression. The manageris friendly and efficient. The combination of hotel and apartment gives- especially families with young children - the possibility to eithercook in the apartment or dine wonderfully in the hotel restaurant andyet keep an eye on their playing kids. Great place! I'd recommendit warmly.
