Review 1：Food could be better quality. Ants in the room. To pay for internet. Cold water in the kids pool. Free alcohol drinks was very bad taste.

Review 2：Animation team! It looks like they work 24 hours. From cooking to dancing:) Photographers were very nice! Also we liked evening programs.

Review 3：the only complaint we all had was the lack of toilets, especially by the pool, the nearest one was about a couple of minutes walk if not more, we felt it would encourage people, especially children, to wee in the pool.

When the iron arrived the cable was broken with wires exposed and if I had plugged it in I would of got a shock. Ironing board cover was ripped. Not 4 star. Birds landing on the outside buffet and eating the food.

Review 18：you can't really get a special or personal treatment, you get what is offered or nothing. the coffee (from the machine) in the breakfast room was terrible & if you want a semi decent coffee, then you have to wait for the piano bar to open (at 10:00) and you have to pay extra for it.

Review 22：Great facilities, and great location near to the beach. Very clean and tidy everywhere. Sea view room had views of the mountains and sea and a big balcony. Food was really good quality with themes each night. Drinks on tap including around the pool.

Review 23：Staff - most of them show no empathy whatsoever when it comes to make not even an extra mile, but extra metre. Mattrass in the room was hard, should be renewed I believe All- inclusive itself - was not on the level of a 4 star Hotel: breakfast was always good, lunch and dinner - a lot of variety, but not good. The bar near the pools served same food every day and the drinks were in cheap plastic glasses, cocktails are prepared in the way of: get ready staff from there, mix it with some other ready thing - no real elaboration. As for me - I would not come back there for the money I paid.

The hotel and animation team are taking care of all customers and making your day much more interesting then you can expect. And I like food it was every day different and we stay about 2 weeks there.

Review 39：Ice Cream quality has changed! It was made of cream and excellent quality, but this year it was just ice and water. The beds are rolling, the Wheels needs to be fixed so you do not Wake up for instance in front of the TV. The door smashed into the wall every day, since the door-stopper on the floor was gone. The excellent small-mirror was also remoed. The shower cabinet was broken, causing very difficult to open and Close. In general: I am really surprized that such a great hotel is not looked better after. I could have fixed my room in one day. Why don't you do propper maintenance? Every day the room was cleaned very well, and the lady that cleaned the room every day took the shower cabinet out of possition, and I had to manually put it back. Why don't the cleaner report when a shower cabinet is broken so it can be repaired ?

Wifi which is being chargedfor to use in the room doesn't work much and when it does it'sreally poor connection, yet its really expensive. Elevators constantlybreaking down and none there to fix them. Lights everywhere failing orbroken down. Needs a serious update! Cleaners won't change yoursheets unless you catch them in action and then they get upset cause youhave asked for it and they have to do it. Pool is surrounded by fliesdue to lack of cleaning up the many drinks they serve there. The loss ofwarm water in the bathroom and the receptionist saying it will only begone for 15 min when in fact it took several hours. The all inclusiveguests being treated badly the drinks you can get is a jug mixed withsugar and alcohol which they poor you up a glass from.

Review 54：A fair four star hotel with good facilities, very spacious rooms, air conditioning, great pool areas.

Review 55：The hotel is French owned and the French guests wear different coloured wrist bands and seem to have extra activities organised just for them, they seem to get different treatment to the rest of the guests. The evening entertainment is also mainly in French. The bars shut bang on midnight and the lights are switched off and many guests were still finishing drinks in the piano bar in the darkness, it is quite dangerous as there are a few steps to climb to get back to the rooms and my I saw a few guests trip up. The food is generally good, but can become a bit monotonous and myself and my son both had lamb burgers from the grill in the dining room at lunchtime which were raw inside. There were a few themed evenings which were good, but they were only 2 or 3 times a week and could be more frequent. Maybe they could have a BBQ by the pool snack bar or an alternative evening dinner in the snack bar. There was a group of French teenagers who seemed to cause havoc everywhere they went, there were no adults with them and they broke glasses in the dining room, spilt water and were rude to the staff, the staff handled it well and gave them plastic cups in the dining room the next time. They were hanging round the pools in a big group and were quite intimidating. Also the usual problem that people would reserve sun beds and they would remain empty all day or most of the day, but it wasn't as bad as some of the places that I've been to before.

Review 56：The location and facilities were excellent. The all-inclusive was great value for money. All the staff were very friendly and hardworking and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our family holiday and had extra family members joining us so we ended up as a group of 17. The staff in the dining room accommodated us and always found a large table for us all to sit together. My son celebrated his birthday and was made a fuss of. The waiters were very hardworking and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel as we all really enjoyed our holiday here.

Review 57：We came here in October 2013 & thought it was a no brainer to go with some of our family so 10 in total 4 kids ages 9, 9, 12 & 15 & 6 adults. We moved rooms twice due to infestation on ants & the second room had cockroaches in so after toing & throwing got upgraded the day after to a suit which was very nice with a fantastic view. We had to contend with ants but nowhere near as bad. This was the first time we have ever gone back to the same hotel & unfortunately won't go back again. The entertainment staff were very good apart from only 1 or 2 speaking English, only a couple of the reception staff were okay with 2 to 3 of them speaking very abruptly.

Review 58：Would be good if the room furniture were a little bit newer. A funny issue with the restaurant was a constant absence of little desert spoons half an hour past the start of a breakfast or dinner.

Review 91：Didn't like the food so much, average. We had HB, so we found very nice restaurant on the another side of the island and were eating there, so we could have the breakfast only. The furniture is quite worn but it goes. I-net goes at its mood. At this beach the enormous waves are once in 2-3 days so the guy withe the whistler wont give you to go for a swim, I could kill him... but we found other nice beaches with waves or without where you can swim as you wish.

Review 92：The beach La Arena with its black sand is very close. Cleaning was ok. The pools are heated, the kids pool is fine with the sledge. Not far from Los Gigantes. Ok with the parking places around the hotel. Many russian trevelers and polish as well. For 140 euro we had the sea view room.

Review 108：the room really needed a renovation. Everything worked just fine in the room, but the shower door didn't close easily, some floor tiles were loose, the mattress wasn't very comfy, and the main bed was on non-locking wheels (any movement meant the bed shifted).

Review 109：all-inclusive was well worth the cost for our family, both the kids and the adults were happy. There always seemed to be great snacks/food and drinks available inside and out. We were able to park alongside the hotel for free for the duration of our stay. The short walk to the beach was easy. The resort felt secure. The activity leaders for the organized competitions were very enthusiastic and really tried to encourage participation. For the price we paid, we were happy with our stay and it met any expectations we had.

Review 133：One of the things that Ididn't liked was the entertainment for children. Unfortunately that entertainment is aimed only for the French kids. This is a very big minus and I think it should be more universal for all children, regardless of what country they come from.

Review 134：We have enjoyed our stay in Be Live Playa la Arena . Staff was very polite , all our requests were resolved in a very professional manner . The rooms were cleaned every day , pool and surroundings very clean . Food quite good and the waiters work hard trying to serve all those who eat in the restaurant. Special thanks to Thomas (one of the waiters ) who was very helpful and gave us lots of details about the area and what is worth seeing there. In one day, really was our guide showing us the way to Los Cristianos . Thank you very much Thomas . Prior to our departure we 've read some of the reviews left by those who once stayed in this hotel and I must admit that I was tempted to cancel my reservation but I am very glad I didn't because we really felt very well at this hotel. It's true that there are hotels more comfortable and luxurious but compared to the price paid we were very pleased . It is a clean hotel and very quiet . Once again thank the staff of the hotel for a very pleasant holiday .

Review 135：All critical remarks about the hotel are true for us. Bad -dissappointing room- directly to a street, lamp, no SUN at all, dirty flower boxes (formerly smoking visitors). Homepage should identify that these rooms are with the same price. Parents do not watch after children at all. Poor shows evenings- do not go there if you do not have any children !(unless for limitless eating). Red flag on the beach all days , pool area crowded.

Review 136：Piano bar and view from terraces to ocean. Very nice service in the bar and restaurant. Excellent if you want to eat and drink without any limits (for us it was not needed) but some tourists obviously choose all inclusive for this.
