Reviews for Hotel Lagos de Cesar by Blue Sea

Review 1:A loot of people and noise. Guy on the receptions wasn't affable.

Review 2:Food is pretty good, but with the Half-board you're not permitted to take even water in the evening. Good wifi but only on reception.

Review 3:Free internet only available in reception area, & was very hit & miss. If you wanted it in your room it was 6 euros a day & only covered one computer or phone. It also cost 3 euros a day for use of the safe which considering it's supposed to be a 4-star you would think these would be included. I would rate it 3-star. Gym equipment was very poor, & the outside facade in desperate need of painting.

Review 4:Breakfasts were great, huge choice of hot & cold food. Can't comment on lunch & dinner as we stayed on a bed & breakfast basis. Staff were friendly & helpful, the rooms were very clean if a little tired. Great location.

Review 5:Food was disgusting, drinks were terrible!!! Hotel pictures and description very misleading . And the awful smell that surrounds the hotel inside and out!!! Rooms were extremely outdated and the bath was so small you couldn't even have a bath. Interior doors were all rotten and the exterior of the hotel was in very bad repair!!! Avoid at all costs

Review 6:The way out!!!!

Review 7:my fault was, that l landed in the north airport, who is 2 hours away from the hotel.. the hotel Lagos de Cesar is located in the south of the island, and you can get an airlines tickets to the south airport!!!

Review 8:if you are traveling for a honeymoon, like l did, its the place.. the hotel is great, swimming pool is big, the hotel is close to the beach too.. me and my wife spent unforgettable 10 days, it was the place l looked for, so quite, had a great relaxation, far away from the world, nobody disturb you, you feel so comfortable there. and the island #Tenerife so beautiful, and you have many thing to do there.. advice everyone.

Review 9:pool too deep all over, o k. for good swimmers only. lifeguard did not control the splashing kids, so could not even sit on stairs to cool off. room small, food not good , waiters slow to clear tables , had to do it ourselves. Animation minimalistic enormous cockroaches in piano bar definitely not a 4 star hotel . been in much better 2 stars. lacking. had to go out always.

Review 10:receptionists efficient

Review 11:nothing. all was perfect

Review 12:not far from the sea, near the bus stop. excellent food and drinks. Very nice staff. Very big room

Review 13:Free wifi always dropping out and very slow.

Review 14:Views were good and staff friendly.

Review 15:Not a 4star hotel as advertised, no courtesy room provided, mainly catering for all inclusive guests

Review 16:Good location, pleasant staff, nice pool

Review 17:The food could be improved not 4 star

Review 18:Location cleanliness

Review 19:Beds were hard not enough staff on so no glasses or cups

Review 20:Smoke from the bar, esp.if you are allergic

Review 21:5 min to the ocean, food was excellent, Restaurant & Cleaning Staff was professional. Had room 209 with a fantastic view to the ocean & swimming-pool.

Review 22:The guy on the reception didn't bother to ask what type of booking we had and wanted the carbon copy. He even tried to convince us to buy the internet and printer access to create such a copy. Utterly unprofessional.

Review 23:Had room 406 which looked onto the rear with a view to the hotel next door being built. Crane, skip, etc. Hot water ran out half way through having a shower. Had to wait half an hour before another person could use the shower to allow water to heat.

Review 24:Restaurant was buffet style where food was fresh at all times with plenty of choice. Although there was no instruction from hotel staff as to how it all worked in regard to drinks, tables etc. basically just help yourself and find a table on your own that was set up with cutlery glasses etc. There was entertainment every night in the main bar.

Review 25:there were not enough staff on in the dining room leading to a shortage of cutlery and cleared tables at busy times

Review 26:the room size was excellent ,comprising of a sitting room and a bedroom with a large balcony facing west for the evening sun I would definitely stay again

Review 27:The location, there's no parking guaranteed if you come by car. In the high season, it will be a problem. There's no good beach nearby (the one which is close is too wild and is not suitable for kids much and is very small). It takes too long to get to the motorway and the road is always busy, therefore it takes longer to get to Los Christianos or the other good beaches. Another thing that me and my wife were disgusted by was the cockroaches... they are huge and we saw at least 3 (one in the canteen, one in the bar and one in front of the hotel) Luckily we didn't find in the room but I really don't want to know what's happening in the kitchen. The area is noisy overbuilt with lots of huge blocks and hotels, according to me. Another thing ... the breakfast was boring.

Review 28:If you are a big family, I suppose the HB/AI is a good deal for you. They also organise some evening entertainments. Maybe the rooms with a sea view are fine. The rooms are clean and every day they change the towels. The dinners were good.

Review 29:I didn't like the plastic cups they were too small. Even in the barat night. We went out and bought our own. They don't mind they justdon't supply them. You really pay for what you get.

Review 30:Staff very friendly and helpful food good but could have more selection.Rooms spacious and comfy. Location is good but not lively likeAmerica's or cristianos but a little further up the road Losgigantes Harbour is breathtaking a truly amazing spot a must see. Infairness the food was good just similar selection on most days but wasgood and tasty you won't go hungry. Very clean. Just bring your ownglass if you want to enjoy a drink. All local beer served. I would haveliked an option to pay for other drinks but they only seemed to providethe all inclusive drinks.

Review 31:Bad quality of staff making rooms and staff working in restoraunt, oldsofa in the room

Review 32:Big spacious room, good reception, enough and tasty breakfast

Review 33:Noise from lobby and other rooms entered our room very easily so wecould not take a nap during the day, Wifi is very expensive (€6 a day or€25 per week) and only available in the lobby, hot water stays hot onlyfor 5 minutes so only allows 1 person can take a quick shower and ittakes nearly an hour to get hot again so the next person has to wait along time. In total the shower is the worst part of the hotel. Theswimming pool is cold and the pool side is always busy so you can hardlyfind a sun bed next to the pool. Room views are not excellent as thehotel is in a side road and most of the room views are blocked by otherbuildings. The plates and glasses are mostly dirty although they comestraight out of dish washer.

Review 34:Staff were very friendly, food was ok but sometimes a bit tasteless.Clean and constantly being maintained, drink found everywere on thehotel, the rooms were large with air conditioning. Overall a lovely stayand value for money. Couldnt expect much more for the money we paid. Thanks Lagos De Cesar

Review 35:Unclean plates. Hot water in rooms is supplied using 50 L capacity boiler - so you should hurry up in the shower.

Review 36:Good location, friendly and very helpfull personnel.

Review 37:WIFI cost 6€ per day additionally. There were small ants in the kitchen, but I managed to keep them away from my food.

Review 38:Blue Sea Hotel is located just opposite to a Titsa local bus stop enabling municipal transport. The hotel is easy to find and located within a short walking distance of 5-10 min to the sea: Playa Arena and Puerto de Santiago. The room is very big with balcony facing the hotel pool. There is a refrigerator in the room and air condition.

Review 39:Beds are very unconfortable, pool water is very cold, not enought place in pool area for all guests, repeating food. By european standards it is 2 star hotel.

Review 40:Location

Review 41:Having to pay for wifi which was only available in the downstairs seating area. Food was rather bland.

Review 42:Large room, sunny balcony, good value for money. Despite reading some very negative reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. Excellent salad and fruit selection at meal times. Staff were friendly.

Review 43:Just awful. I've booked this hotel despite many bad reviews thinkingthat a 4star hotel couldn't be that bad and got punished. Everythingis absolutely atrocious, food is worse that anywhere i've been, andall inclusive doesnt really include much. Had I stayed there more than 1day, it would have definitely ruined a perfect vacation on a perfectisland of Tenerife. Just stay away from it.solo una parola - terribile.. просто ужасная гостиница и даже не близко 4 звезды. Еда очень бедная, нет смысла ехать так далеко чтобы жить так плохо..

Review 44:Boiler is quite small and is enough only for a shower, bath is completely useless there. Sandy beach is relatively far from the hotel.

Review 45:Friendly staff, fine food.

Review 46:thin mattresses food not great

Review 47:good location quiet hotel decent value

Review 48:Uncomfortable beds, cold pool

Review 49:Location close to the beach and quiet at the same time. Good value for the price.

Review 50:Wi-Fi is 25 euro week. 6 euro day. It's really doesnt look like 4 stars hotel. Only 3. Too many russian!

Review 51:It's really close to the beach.

Review 52:-Pool closed at 6 pm

Review 53:Near the los gigantos cliffs

Review 54:It's been a very enjoyable stay. We liked all.

Review 55:Personnel très sympathique et chambre propre

Review 56:food no internet access
