Review 1：Owner was lovely. Very warm and welcoming. Let us choose our room which was a novelty. Bed was very comfortable. Location was great short walk to nice restaurants and main square. Breakfast the next day was very cute with fresh ingredients. We chose this hotel as a perfect stop before continuing to travel to ski resorts the next day.

Review 3：Martine is an especially gracious host. Her home provided a peaceful and lovely environment, spacious rooms and is so very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, the internet access good and the location to various parts of Nancy old town all walkable. Train not too far away as well.

Review 9：Excellent location: it is very near to city center, in a quiet side street. Cheap parking nearby. It is a villa, very friendly staff (owner), so you feel as a personal guest. Spacy room, with stily furniture, you feel like in your private apartment.

The owner and staff are warm and friendly, the breakfast is out of this world, they do everything to make your stay a great memory. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. You would be crazy to stay anywhere else. I stay 80 nights a year in hotels around the world. This one is amongst the very very best. You will not be sorry if you stay here.

Review 13：Only draw back was feeling like we were in a library...this is common for us as we don't want to bother other guests but can be hard when homes are hundreds of years old and floors creak. Wasn't a problem with home just something to be aware of.

We only stayed 1 night but think a weekend stay would be great as well. Not sure why some people had negative reviews as the price, flexibility, and location are wonderful.

Review 29：We were there in April and perfectly comfortable but since it has no air conditioning or ceiling fans etc. it might be warm in the hot summer months of July, August, early September. That is just a caution for those booking in summer season especially for Americans who love their air conditioning.
Review 30：Superb location, charming Maison d'Hote, interesting art, individually decorated, large comfortable rooms. Our room also had a small kitchenette. Lovely breakfast, friendly staff and the proprietor was wonderful. A real "foodie" she recommended one excellent restaurant after another for us to dine in. Walking in under the blooming wisteria every time we returned was wonderful in itself. We highly recommend this charming spot.
Review 31：Proprietor could not do enough for us - it was the off season but as it is very small I think all would get personal service. Room was large and a mini art gallery. Hidden away but close to the main square and city centre. Deserves to be better known.
Review 32：As the building is old, you can hear all people walking up and down thestairs and on the floors in the morning. This was quite noisy. However,if you are an early riser, this may not be a problem.

In a great location just 2 minutes from Cathedral and 5 mins from Place Stanislas.
