Review 6：Everything!!! Carol - the owner of the hotel - is a fantastic person to know. You could hardly find such a thoughtful attitude even if you stay at a 5-star hotel. Before we arrived Carol prepared a list of excellent restaurants, itinerary for our walks and advised us to visit a show - Chartres en Lumiere. The hotel is well-positioned, just two steps from the Cathedral. The rooms are spacios, each room with its own caracter. We had a fantastic dinner then at the restaurant managed by Carol's friends. I would recommend everyone this hotel!!!

Review 8：Extremely good location in the heart of a beautiful little city. Car parking handy. Our host was extremely welcoming (tea on arrival) and helpful, with excellent English if required. This is a beautifully and tastefully renovated property - quirky, urban and arty decor.
Review 9：A small four bedroom 'Maison d'hôte' in the old part of Chartres. A very imaginative conversion with top class bedrooms with character. Carole, the owner, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The breakfast was excellent in every detail and could not have been bettered. Parking was initially a problem until I realised that the simplest solution was to use the vast underground car park which was relatively inexpensive and only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. This was the only detail that could have been flagged up on the website and would have saved the traveller having to work it out for themselves! Otherwise I could not have wished for more from this stay

A delicious breakfast is served in a light filled dining area on the top floor. Perfect location for visiting all the sites.
Review 31：Carole could not have done more to make us comfortable - she was concerned that I was not dressed warmly enough and found me some warm (and chic) outdoor clothes as I had not pack sufficient items. All of it was excellent and we will definitely stay over when we stop overnight in Chartres next time.
