Reviews for La Villa 1901
Review 1:A wonderful stylish cosy Hotel with a lot of places to recover or get new impressions/inspiration. Large modern bathroom, good mattress and a breakfast with fresh high quality products!! Wonder-ful!
Review 2:A little far from the center (maybe a 20-minute walk but we had a car so it wasn't a problem.
Review 3:Beautiful property with individualized artsy rooms and great host (Francois). Breakfast was included and very nice with beautiful settings. The garden was so calm and peaceful. Everything was just great.
Review 4:Loved this hotel. The rooms, the atmosphere, the decor, the owners and the delicious homemade breakfast. Not to forget the restaurant recommended to us the night we arrived. Fantastic place!!!
Review 5:We loved the greeting from Fransois and walking off the street into a wonderful land of tasteful if quirky design. Our room at the top of the house was fantastic, light, sumptuous and comfortable. We loved the gardens and the breakfast. A great end to our European road trip.
Review 6:The location is a little awkward in relation to the centre of town. A fairly long walk (20 min) through not very interesting neighborhoods. The sheets and pillow cases not of a very pleasant material.
Review 7:Lovely accommodation, nice garden, beautiful bathroom and excellent breakfast, friendly staff.Private parking (for Euro 10)
Review 8:Lack of air condition in room. We acknowledge it was a very hot period but stil a feature that you can expect at price.
Review 9:The friendly and helpful people. Garden is peaceful and breakfast is great. Rooms are interesting and luckily fare away from standard hotels' predictablity.
Review 10:We had the room under the roof and that was quite small for three people and in my opinion way too expensive for what you got in return. Also, we were on 3 motor bikes and had to pay €20 just to put them in their garden. We had traveled all over France with our bikes and stayed at 10 different locations and this was the most expensive parking by far or entire stay for that matter.
Review 11:The hostess was very kind - breakfast was good
Review 12:We had the upper room which was beautiful decorated but we had many stairs to climb and the room was not very handy.
Review 13:The owner was very helpful in all ways, the garden is beautiful and the breakfast extraordinary!
Review 14:Nothing!
Review 15:Anazing room and wonderful breakfast with homemade pastries, jams and fresh orange juice. We travelled with a 3 yo and 4 mo and needed a place to stay overnight en route.
Review 16:Stylish and distinctive furnishings Exceptionally helpful hostess Fresh, abundant breakfast Huge and comfortable room Great bathroom Nearby streets with wonderful Art Nouveau houses
Review 17:We loved the unique elegance of this house. The owner is clearly very artistic and has created a beautiful and stylish home. The breakfast was delicious with homemade produce which was served with such attention to detail.
Review 18:Not extremelly central and noisy street.
Review 19:Very friendly, fun looking space. Loved the ecletic furniture and the possibility of actually buying some of it. Friendly service, feels like you're staying at a friends flat.
Review 20:If you arrive late, then you may be in trouble.
Review 21:good rest in the garden!
Review 22:Villa 1901 was a real treat.the owner has de rated in an international style; the house is lovely. Our hostess went out of her way to be helpful.
Review 23:The location of the property is very unattractive. The rooms are very dark and the lighting in the bathroom is sparse
Review 24:The sheets were awfull. Scratchy linnen.
Review 25:Top B&B beautifull design top service etc
Review 26:Fantastic design Interesting & great dicussions with owners
Review 27:Lovely house and garden and wonderful breakfast
Review 28:No fridge in room, the behaviour of the owners dogs, no shower stalls just a bathtub
Review 29:Ambiance of the Gardens. Breakfast on the terrace. Large rooms, very friendly staff (owners)
Review 30:Our attic room was real funky but not practical, could only stand in half of the room,no where to put anything, three flights of stairs so recommend carry on luggage. Bath only no shower, had shower head but no where to fix it, if you sat down you could not reach squeezy soap dispenser. Cannot use private car park if you have anything larger than an economy car, so we had to unload car for safety and leave it on the road after requesting car parking. Bulk standard Hotel would have suited us better for stop over on way home.
Review 31:Very clean, cute, charming Boutique Guest house with great funky designs.
Review 32:It's a wonderful place to stay! I wouldn't even call it a hotel, it's like staying at a house. A very stylish house! And the breakfast was amazing. The host is doing everything to make your stay pleasant, cheers to her!
Review 33:Wonderful hotel. The owner was extremely nice and helpfull. Design of the hotel and rooms is very nice. Very good breakfast The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the city center.

Review 35:Helpful owners: recommended and made reservations for dinner, helpedwith maps and ideas for visit. The Villa 1901 has a very stylishinterior and the sitting room is filled with interesting objects andbooks. We would certainly stay there again.
Review 36:The hostess was busy chatting with other guests at the breakfast and forgot to show us half of the items. We had to search and uncover some of the food ourselves.
Review 37:The design of the house is great, very stylish. The quality of all the room amenities is top notch. The breakfast was good and served in a nicely decorated room filled with natural light.
