Reviews for La Casona de Sarria
Review 1:Having to leave this wonderful home
Review 2:Wow! Marcela and Antonio are the most gracious hosts. The kindhearted welcome we received and their attentiveness to their home and visitors shows how dedicated they are to the Camino and how much they love what they do. Not to mention, they serve the best breakfast on the Camino; complete with scrambled eggs, pancakes and home made chestnut buttercream....This is a gem on the Camino that is not to be missed.
Review 3:None
Review 4:Located right next to camino.train station and shops only 5 minute walk away. Clean and cozy. Great breakfast. Owned by a lovely couple. Inhale some of their positive energy which gives you power for the way ahead. You will feel at home there.
Review 5:For overall experience, this was one of the best auberges I stayed at during my 38 day Camino in Sept-Oct 2015. The facility is beautiful, the hospitality thoughtful and lovely - and there was even a very yummy breakfast.
Review 6:Nothing
Review 7:This is gem on the Camino...Marcella and Antonio are the finest hosts we have met on the Way. This place is clean, welcoming and serves the best breakfast . I have no reservations about this spot and give it my highest praise!
Review 8:The owners treated us like family; breakfast was outstanding. The ownersare hospitable and generous beyond belief. One of the people with whom Iwas travelling left his book under the bed. The next day, the ownerdelivered it to him personally - unbelievable.
Review 9:Bunk beds.
Review 10:The owners make this stay outstanding. They are so gracious and generous. We were a group of 70 yr old women who had a bit of a challenge with bunk beds, so Marcella went out and borrowed an extra bed frame to help us out. Plus she made us a breakfast fit for the hungriest perigrino.
Review 11:I liked everything about this albergue. If you are reading this - book it! Marcella and Antonio are the most gracious hosts. They will help you with anything that you need and maybe you will be as lucky as I was and be invited to dessert and shots after their family lunch! We had the best breakfast on the Camino and by this point it was day 35 for us.
Review 12:What an amazing place to be! Marcella and Antonio, the incredible nice hosts of that wonderful building, made us feel like home. It's a charming old house but completely renovated! Everything is new, beautiful and clean. The breakfast is amazing - plus homemade pancakes!!! The dinner is fabulous - you can taste it's homemade!!! We loved it so much, that we decided to stay one day longer as planed and we'll never forget our staying there! Thank you so much! Tomas and Danijela
Just in 1 word: amazing. the place was renovated and very clean. the owners really really friendly. very close to the train station and at the beggining of the next day of journey.
Review 15:the owners are incredibly friendly and dedicated to helping the piligrims all the way. The place itself is new but looks like a medieval casle with wonderful atmosphere, stone walls, great terrace and big windows. All the facilities are brand new
Review 16:Very nice people very friendly and motivated thank you for the nice time and the perfect start to the way
