Review 1：The whole area is spoilt by the highway that cuts the access to the beach. Getting in and out the highway just to drive a few miles is quite annoying. The shops and bars around the area are not in line with the luxury style of the resort. Some of the neighbouring areas are run down.

Review 2：Excellent resort close to the beach of san pedro. Large apartments full of comforts and amenities, nice designer forniture, wide patio, modern architecture of the entire complex. The resorts itself woulf deserve a rating of 10.0

Review 7：A very pleasant resort located in a quiet area. Large apartment, clean and well equipped. Very nice and helpful staff. I recommend the resort for families or groups of friends. Keep in mind that you need a car because the beach is not so close (but if you love to go every day in another place like us, the place is perfect - for ex. 10km away of Estepona or Marbella or 60 km away of Malaga or Ronda)

Review 8：We had a little trouble finding it at first. I did not give any notice to the hotel instructions since we had a GPS. Make sure to follow their instructions.

Review 9：Our apartment was beautiful on the second floor with lovely views of the mountains and the pool, very clean and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Maytie at the reception was very nice and willing to provide us anything we needed. I would definitely would like to come back.

Review 17：The single beds were lumpy & not all that comfortable. The 2 Bathrooms were great to have but only one had a shower so we all used that bathroom. Directions to find the complex confusing plus the office to collect keys was a road away from the actual complex making it tricky to find & if you missed your exit off the A7 you had to keep going back on & off this busy road - like ground hog day! A photo of exits or buildings/signs to look for would solve this.

Review 18：A lovely apartment set in a very quiet location with a great pool. We were able to use the larger pool set in the complex over the road and it was a reasonable walk to shops & restaurants. Near to Marbella & Estepona, plus larger supermarkets & more restaurants a very short drive away.. Apartment very clean & the under ground locked car park a bonus in hot weather.

Review 19：Pool is very nice and everything is very well taken care of. Beds are fantastic! Staff is very eager to help and facilitate. There is free parking and the WIFI works perfect.

Review 22：The pool was superb! Vigilant lifeguards, particularly. Accommodation was excellent with great aircon especially as the outside temperatures were above 35 degrees Celsius every day. This is our second visit and we have not stayed anywhere else in the world twice!! We will come here again.

Review 23：The appartment was fresh and spacious, with a big terrace with sea view. The pool area was big and well maintained. The staff was friendy and service minded. You need a car to get around.

Review 24：Location is about 10 miles from Estepona town and you really need a car. we wanted to use the shuttle service but this turned out to be a Taxi transfer at an additional cost of €180, hireing the car was about the same price. Few restaurants close by but some nice ones in Cancelada about €10 in Taxi I can recommend El Lagado and Miguel, both very good for steaks.

Review 25：Our apartment was brand new and finished to a high standard, it was on the ground floor next to the pool. The grounds and pool area were very nice and well maintained. Loads of sun loungers so no need to reserve. The staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. The maid and cleaning service was excellent and changed towels every day.

Review 37：-Limited choice of food menu and drinks at poolside bar although reasonably priced -Not a critism of Cortijo del Mar but if driving I suggest you check out very carefully the directions as it's tricky to ensure you take the correct exit off the busy main road and then have to worm your way through the residential roads to the complex which is not well signposted - it's a few hundred metres at the rear of the much bigger Diana complex - No on-site shop (being a smallish size complex perhaps this is to be expected) and there are large supermarkets in the vicinity although a car/taxi is recommended for shopping

Review 41：The apartment has home automation system but no instructions on how to use it! The apartment patio is great but needs a covered area. Apart from the pool there is no other leisure facility - a table tennis table around the pool bar would be a good idea. Not enough sun beds and parasols

Review 42：The 2 bed apartment was great - very clean,tidy and full of mod-cons. The bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. The en-suite bathroom from the main bedroom was well equipped - the whirlpool bath was great; the other shower room had a full body jet shower which the children really enjoyed. The kitchen was a good size with all the essential equipment, although an extra cupboard would have been useful for storing groceries. There is secure underground parking which is great especially in the summer as the cars can get very hot if parked on the roadside. The swimming pool is huge and attended by two life-guards. There is a kids club on-site although there was very little activity when we stayed. It is close to many restaurants and grocery store but a car is essential.

Review 78：Rooms are too small, In morning there was no water from 7.30 to 10.00 amdue to some problem, then it started and again suddenly it stopped at11.30 am when most of us were in bathroom. Also we had to wait for 1hour when we reached to checkin as the office was closed and Keys werenot there. My credit card was charged w/o taking consent from me,before checkout for which their manager apologized, but overall not verygood experience. Will not recommend for families outing.

Review 90：Cortijo del Mar is located about 45 minutes from Malaga Airport. Take 3rd exit after the San Pedro tunnel and turn right at Hotel Diana Park. Very warm welcome of the ladies at reception and very helpfull with recommending restaurants, places to visit, etc. They really go out of their way to make the stay perfect for the guests. Apartments are brand new, modern furniture and appliances, good size furnished balcony, very clean (daily cleaning). Located only 10-15 minutes from downtown Marbella (25 euro by taxi). There is a supermercado within walking distance; however we preferred the Supercor supermarket at next exit (5 minutes drive - open 365 days)and the Carrefour in Estepona (approx 15 min drive). I would recommend to rent a car when staying at Cortijo del Mar. Parking is secure in underground parking garage. A few big shopping centers are nearby and one of them is even open on public holidays (Canadean). We would return and highly recommend.

Review 97：Nothing much - but I would suggest the cleaning of kitchen area is added to the servicing of the apt and that cleaners always check patio doors are locked behind them - we found these left open on more than one occasion.
