Review 1：The standard of the apartment could be a bit higher. It was alright but nothing exciting. Really nice food and pool.

Review 3：at first at lunch the fish that they offered was already bad, then in the morning the bread tasted like something that has been in the cleaning room for a long time, it was horrible

Review 5：Although there were enough beds, it was extremely crowded around the poolside. I realise it was peak holiday time and it would not be like this off peak. We went to the beautiful Cala Marcal beach instead, which was just across a small road.

Review 6：Would recommend these apartments. The location was excellent, next to a beautiful beach (Cala Marcal). The staff were extremely helpful, especially on reception. We were unfortunate that the air conditioning in one of our rooms failed twice and each time we were given an alternative option, i.e. either use a stand alone fan, or change rooms. We decided on the latter on both occasions as it was extremely hot during our stay. The food was really good with plenty of variety each day.

Review 9：The only bad thing was the time of the transfer. Whilst the coach set off within 5 minutes of us getting on it at 09:55 went via Colonia Sant Jordi and through Cala D'Or so took 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Review 10：Location is ideal if you want a relaxing quiet holiday. The hotel is within 500metres of the lovely Cala Marsall beach. There is very little night life in and around PortoColom but plenty of bars and restaurants. The activities at the hotel encourage you to meet and make friends with other holidaymakers. The constant supply of nuts and crisps and ice cream in bar area are excellent.

Review 11：Some buildings suffer from the neighbouring restaurant's music (it was the case of our son's family). From time to time smoking is felt.

Review 12：We like very much the location of this apart hotel. There is a beautiful sand beach in 3 minutes walk. A supermarket just in one of the buildings. A lot of small restaurants at hand. The whole area is not like a town, it is a green part of Porto Colom. We'll certainly come back. And the most important thing that it was very good for our grandson, they stay here separately but close to us in Cecilia. It is certainly very good for family with kids. It's worth the money.

Review 13：Bad "remote" comunication: prior to our arrival we asked some questions, by email, but never got an answer. The kitchen is not very well equipped. For example, there's nothing to wash and clean, no electric kettle, toaster, juice maker, etc.

Review 31：Nice situation on the island - by car you can easily reach many pittoresque places - small towns and beaches - on the east and south east coast. Very close to nice beach. Nice buffet on the hotel (only tried it once), several restaurants and a small supermarket with bake off - practically all you need ;o)

Review 34：the kitchenette area of the room was kind of falling apart. The water coming out of the shower tasted salty but I didn't bother saying anything as I imagined it would be the same in any room. I didn't use the restaurant, bar or pool so can't comment.

Review 36：The rooms are old fashion. The staff is very friendly except the bar man, I think it was Pablo. We played table tennis and he said I am closing, shut the door and turn out the light, I went to him and said that it was too bad, he has no hpositality at all and is not good at his position. The receptionist a man from Madrid was really nice and I think he knows more about to run the hotel then a lot of staff do!!! If you change a few things at the hotel there are a lot op possibility's, the food quillity is good but not hot enough, the restaurant downstairs is really cheap looking, with some paint you can restyle it really easy. I asked the waitress ( really nice women ) why the food is not hot, she say no problem..... you can use the microwave ha ha LOL Maybe becouse we run hotels we are a bit critical but spend a few euro's and you can make the hotel really good, you have the location, sun and 90% good staff....... go for it and we will come back!!

Review 38：The first room we were given was damp with mould on the walls and itsmelled very damp. Also the airconditioning didn't work which was notgood in temperatures over 30. My husband spoke to reception that nightand they said to come back the next morning. So we spent anuncomfortable night but as the airconditioning couldn't be fixed thenext day we were moved. The next room was much better. It smelled freshand the airconditioning worked. If we had been given this room in thebeginning we would've been quite happy. We did however have a bit of aproblem with ants in this room but I this was rectified by being carefulBout what we left around and having bug spray with us. The pools werenice but the main pool did not have a shallow end which wasn't good witha small child. All in all we would recommend these apartments as long asyou don't mind basic accommodation that could do with being updated. Thelocal area is quite nice with a lovely beach, there is not a lot ofchoice restaurant wise but there are more in Porto Colom itself.

Review 40：The original apartment allocated to us was not suitable for our young family due to close proximity to the pool and entertainment area which was very noisy until late at night however, this was rectified by our request to be moved which was arranged immediately.
