Review 1：Noise from nearby busy road and noisy air con/heating unit kept waking us up. No batteries in TV remote control. Only 1 chair in room for 2

Review 3：They took our money for an 8 o'clock breakfast and when we went in the morning it was all closed down! so had to leave without the money or breakfast! Short on loo paper, shower overflowed, no plug in sink.

Review 5：The hotel was unmanned on arrival and the automated service machine kept rejecting my cards despite adequate funds. The intercom service cut out after 40 seconds and so it took 5 attempts to actually relay the issue. The free wi-fi was inaccessible as they provided a password but no user name.

Review 9：Well, I've stayed in budget hotels before, but the staff on duty take the biscuit. Deep in conversation when we arrived. Did not acknowledge our presence. When we were finally attended to, this was I terrupted, without apology, by another staff member. Key almost flung at us, with no mention of how to find our room. No kettle in the room, and plank hard bed. Will not use again!

Review 11：The hotel is in a rather seedy part of town. We rented 2 rooms. Both had non-working lights by the beds. There was no staff available on a Sunday night, so we couldn't get the lights fixed. We found a bug in 1 bed. We would not stay here again.

Review 12：Would have liked double room on ground floor, but except for handicapped room only twin beds available at ground level. Shower holder and toilet roll holder broken. No hooks for clothes or towels in bathroom.

Review 26：The toilet was in it's own cupboard, when you sat on the loo your knees were touching the door!!! Very claustrophobic. When you lean down to re-arrange your clothing you knock yourself out on the door.

Review 70：We have stayed at this hotel several times however this recent visit was a disappointment as we requested ground level room due to having a dog, the receptionist was not the most helpful, and when asked about the ground level room she informed us they did not have any availability when infact this was not true as there was only 3 guests on the 04/04 and we could see the vacant rooms. The restaurant had a function the night and when we arrived for our breakfast in morning the tables still had previous night glasses, wine etc not good for a breakfast serving. The receptionist dragged 3 tables into a separate room and pointed to us to go in there. Such a shame as this has previously been a good hotel for us. The staff need to smile she looked like she did not enjoy her job

Review 77：I was travelling on a bike. Owing to bad weather I had to stay a second night. The staff were wonderful-helpful and friendly. The room was clean but somewhat small. The buffet breakfast was very good. I would stay again.

Unsatisfactory accommodation!!

The room was rather small and virtually filled by the two single beds. We were supplied with only one towel for the two of us and the single pillow supplied for each bed was no more than an inch and a half thick. Staff were in very short supply and difficult to find.
