Reviews for Hôtel Belvedère Cannes Mougins
Review 1:Very friendly atmosphere by staff and owners ! Lovely pool aria, quiet, clean rooms. Easy exit to highway , Cannes, Mougins ... Big car parking facilities !
Review 2:Not pleased on arrival, hot and sweaty in motorcycle gear to learn that for a start the bill had already been taken from my credit card. Also to find that we couldn't dine in the hotel as all the seats in restaurant already booked in advance but we could get back on our bikes and go three kilometres to Mougin and dine there or have a pizza brought in. I then found on my booking confirmation that we had requested an evening meal and confronted the owner with it. He pulled out a copy of the booking and there it was in black and white. He said it was his fault hadn't spotted it but still not enough grub to go round so tough! I walked off in disgust but then a few minutes later phone call to my room - he'd relented did we still want to dine which we did. After that couldn't do enough to be pleasant, share stories about the hotel business etc.
Review 3:There was a nice pool and the food was good. The owner did his best to compensate for earlier grief - see note about what we didn't like!
Review 4:For a family room, it was extremely cramped and small. Breakfast was ok but waiting until they opened was horrible. Stray cats everywhere
Review 5:The pool was the only thing positive about this place.
Review 6:Ugly, little room without possibily to open Window Mycro bathroom Must use your trasport to centar of cannes (10min drive)
Review 7:Easy to find Clean At reception speak english Good wifi Parking

Review 9:I rang booking.com and was advised to book a family room with 2 youngchildren under the age of 2.when we arrived we had one cot a double bedand a loft so high no child under 8 could possibly climb the ladder andsleep safely considering a younger child could easily fall out.when Icomplained he blamed me on booking on booking. Com not his fault andonly after talking to someone in booking.com he offered to put me in asmaller room but with still only one cot for 10 euro less a nite .Wepaid 433 for 5 nights with no breakfast incl while my sister paid 327for 7 nights including breakfast for a room next door.that just addedsalt to the wound.
Review 10:Horrible room at the groundfloor, 3 meters from the so called "pool", noisy and with bright shining light through the window during the night. Unclean and very worn out furniture. Horrible!
Review 11:Nothing
Review 12:The owners wife seemed to be a kind of man-disliker. When I asked something she only answerd my wife without even looking at me....Kind a weird....
Review 13:The beds were much better than Ibis. Breakfast was also better. Ibis had no swimming pool and feels very unpersonal.
Review 14:I just stop while travelling through good location off major hey.
Review 15:Poor maintenance is not good. Internet / wifi not working in the room.
Review 16:Location and car parking
Review 17:Perfect for anyone travelling through. Simple and honest and clean. Also do amazing food
Review 18:Parking dammaged, difficult to open and close the door from the room!
Review 19:Terras where you take the breakfast, the pool, toilet and bath in room,
Review 20:The room was dirty and small. The traffic noise from the motorway. The hotel was run down and unkept. The price for food and drink expensive.
Review 21:You should take taxi to reach Cannes. Bus station is about 30 min over the hotel.
Review 22:The room is comfortable and the pool is nice.
Review 23:location
Review 24:WiFi insanely slow, not very clean and very dark rooms. The bed is better than ibis, but ibis feels a lot cleaner
Review 25:Close to cannes
Review 26:Polite personnel
Review 27:very noisy, tired and sad, no choice of food, nowhere for even a cup of coffee!
Review 28:nothing
Review 29:2 stars, what can I say, good for 2 stars, but a lot can be improved bathrooms can be renovated
Review 30:easy to get in and out
Review 31:The small room is dirty That part of the room was broken(Bed and door)
Review 32:Very uncomfortable bed setting and was not clean.
Review 33:location was ok if you would like to travel to other places eg. nice, monaco etc
Review 34:Not clean, no space, too loud
Review 35:WLAN
Review 36:ドアノブがガタツイて外れるんじゃないかと思った。窓が開かないから夜中は暑かった。Door handle was almost broken. Windows are fixed so the air in the room was not so good.
Review 37:レストランの食事はおいしかった。スタッフはとても親切でよかった。Restaurant was good. Staffs are friendly.
Review 38:Where do I begIn? Manner of reception - no one there and when the manager eventually arrived she was unhelpful and argumentative. The rooms were boxes, not really hotel rooms. No opening windows next to no floor space. No kett.le or drink facilities, no fire alarm system. No fire precaution notice. The communicating door between my room and the next (a total stranger) was unlocked. By nine am the rubbish and litter round the pool was still uncleared. Breakfast produced stale rolls when fresh baguettes are so easy to produce No sign of the manager in the morning The website is most misleading and. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone; in fact, in England it would probably not pass inspection. As a regular visitor to the area I regret having chosen this hotel and fell ashamed I brought some friends to endure a night there.
Review 39:Very very little. Nothing apart from the view
Review 40:A sort of Motel very close to the highway. The room was small and a bit old-fashioned, but it was clean and quiet enough. I really enjoyed the buffet for breakfast.
Review 41:Smelly room, AC doesn't work and was not fixed for 5 days, fortunately weather was ok
Review 42:They made us hot croissants after breakfast time which was exceptional
Review 43:Location is right beside a motorway so it is noisy but the rooms are sound proofed. If you are wanting to enjoy the accommodation then choose somewhere else but if it is a base to explore then it is excellent.
Review 44:Basic and clean with very helpful staff, good breakfast & swimming pool and easy access to motorway and Mougins and to explore the countryside.
Review 45:Car park is rather congested. Access to motorway or Cannes centre is tortuous.
Review 46:Owner is effecient and friendly. Rooms are well equiped with good bathrooms, despite size. Air-conditioning works well, without being noisy.
Review 47:The traffic is a bit noisy. The rooms need renovation, but everything is nice and clean.
Review 48:The family that owns the hotel was very helpful. The restaurant was very nice and good food. The placement of the hotel was central when you need to get around different places in the Cannes area.
Review 49:Rooms (at least #102) need to be renovated. Old, falling apart. Door latch doesn't work. Location next to highway.
Review 50:Staff/owner is very nice, restaurant is convenient and satisfactory. Pool area with nice seating.
Review 51:no washclothes in fresh linens had to go buy my own.
Review 52:Friendliness and helpful advise of owner and staff. Close to tollway that connected us to many locations we wanted to see and discover. Good breakfast food in cafe onsite daily.
Review 53:No Wi-Fi (even advertised), No Mini Bar, No Shower Curtain, Poor hygine, Broken door handle, TV in dangerous position, Small room, Car Park dangerous, One power socket that was dangerous, rude staff, Over priced
Review 54:It did'n have much charm and the room was very small.
Review 55:It was a good value for Cannes during the festival. The owner was helpful-it was clean, the wifi worked well, the breakfast was fine.
Review 56:There was nothing that I didn't like, but if you require perfect quiet to sleep, ask for a room on the garden rather than on the pool side, and if WiFi signal is crucial for doing business, rooms at the end have a stronger signal.
Review 57:I loved the welcoming atmosphere created by owner/manager Angelo Saponara. He has applied his experience managing luxury hotels to maintaining his own more modest hotel and knows how to make guests feel comfortable. The aromas wafting from the kitchen will make you want to dine in at the Belvedere's dining room instead of searching elsewhere for a delicious meal -- perfect for business people, like me, who are too tired to drive after a long day's work -- and who like to enjoy a glass or two of wine with dinner.
Review 58:The wifi did not work. The rooms were not clean. There were several health and safety issues around the hotel. The car park is appalling with only a few clear spaces and the rest were piles of broken tarmac. The facility that I would expect for this price were not there.
Review 59:The hotel was located ten minutes from The Palais.
Review 60:not air-conditioning in the room, so it was little bit too hot at night. no curtains around the bath so if having shower, all the bathroom risks to be flooded
Review 61:next to the main cities in the French Riviera. the highway is really closed but very few noises. cleaned room with cleaning service even only for just a couple of nights
Review 62:The service and facilities very good. Staff always happy to help. Location is great for travel to other areas. Would stay again. Great place.
Review 63:No shower curtain.
Review 64:Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, great WiFi
Review 65:Staff where very helpful and pleasant
Review 66:Internet connection poor
Review 67:Ease of access and parking, reception open long hours, restaurant on site, helpful staff.
Review 68:Lack of Umbrellas when caught in a thunder storm; waiting for taxis to get into Cannes.
Review 69:Location; Nice staff; Good value; Simple
Review 70:A bedroom that smelt of smoke
Review 71:Extremely helpful and friendly staff
Review 72:Angelo the owner was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. What a great guy, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
