Reviews for Logis Les Cols Verts
Review 1:The bathroom was very small and badly designed. It was impossible for me to place the plug in the bath without climbing into it before filling. Fortunately, the grandson helped. The bed was king size and of fairly good quality, but not fitted with a continental quilt - the old fashioned sheets and blanket style which I detest. The sheets are of very good quality. I commented that I appreciated the formulas for breakfast, but you have to choose between butter or jam for your croissant or bread roll with no option to purchase an additional cup of coffee.
Review 2:The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is situated in a nice quiet area away from town and has a pleasant shaded garden to lounge in.The 1.8 km walk by the beach into town is very enjoyable indeed. Another plus is that we were able to reserve a small family suite so that our 8 year-old grandson could have his own adjoining room with a balcony and wash basin closet. The choice between a small breakfast for €6 with a cup of coffee, tartine or croissant and fruit juice compared to €11 for eat as much as you want was appreciated (we are not big breakfast eaters). The wifi connection worked fine for surfing and reading e-mails.
Review 3:Nothing
Review 4:Family run hotel. The first minute we arrived until we left staff extremely helpful. The owner showed us where to park by walking with us as we drove. Rooms were comfortable and spotless.
Review 5:Parking was a bit difficult and one of our friends was recovering from a hip operation and there was no lift. But these were minor things.
Review 6:The staff were lovely the food in the restaurant was brilliant. It was a a very pleasant and friendly stay.
Review 7:Basic rooms, with no tea or coffee making facilities.
Review 8:The hotel was a 2 min walk to the beach, also it had an indoor pool should the weather be cooler. Helpful friendly staff.
Review 9:Having stayed in hostel accommodation, this was far worse and anything but 3* in my humble opinion. Paying €160 for one nights stay. Quality of room. Decoration of room. Cleanliness of bathroom. Fire doors held open by recycling bins.
Review 10:Not a lot The young lady at the front desk tried to be welcoming.
Review 11:Bathroom little bit tight. Town centre, restaurants, bars, shops comfortably available only by car.
Review 12:Nice and peaceful location close to the beach. Swimming pool is also great. Very nice staff. I left something in the room, I just had to ask, and it was sent after me - abroad.
Review 13:Garden area not comfortable for relaxing in. Limited fascilities within walking distance Pool garden too small for loungers Over priced but they have a monopoly as a hotle in a beautiful resort
Review 14:Welcoming staff speaking English Comfortable rooms-bijoux/compact Good proximaty to beach Good to have indoor pool
Review 15:Judging from the other two star places we stayed, I'm not sure why this hotel is a three star hotel (and priced accordingly). We paid at least 10 Euros less in similar places right on the beach or with a brand new swimming pool. (The indoor swimming pool needs more light, maybe a few plants - an update.) The restaurant was very pricey and the food was just OK.
Review 16:Our room was exactly like all the two star rooms we enjoyed on this vacation on the west coast of France, small but comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I loved the nearby beach. We didn't walk over (very short walk) until after dinner, but there's a very friendly beach bar that is clearly popular with the locals there. We enjoyed a cold beer while we watched the sunset.
Review 17:Rooms were very hot and noisy. No fans or air conditioning.
Review 18:Most of my experience there
Review 19:Not Much
Review 20:The area was ideal and ŵe loved being so close to the beach. Had a lovely room with a patio area which was great.
Review 21:Would have liked more variety for breakfast.
Review 22:The restaurants. Cleanliness of property. The organic food.
Review 23:Food and friendliness of staff
Review 24:Lack of easy parking
Review 25:Atmosphere of a French seaside resort
Review 26:Heated indoor swimming pool was a bonus.
Review 27:Good location, near the beach. Comfortable hotel for a short stay. The swimming pool was a big bonus.
Review 28:The room we were given wasn't in the main hotel at all but in the side annexe which can be seen in the picture of the hotel to the left under the trees. The annexe was very 'tired' and had a totally different feel to the atmosphere in the hotel, which looked smart. We would have preferred a room in the main building but you get what you pay for I suppose and it was low cost at just over £50. That said the following night was spent in a stunning place for the same price - luck of the draw.
Review 29:The swimming pool looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't have time to use it.
Review 30:Shower in bath was a little difficult for us but that was age related.
Review 31:Comfortable room, good facilities. Staff were just great. Reception staff were so helpfully as we're the restaurant staff. The location close to the beach was useful for us.
Review 32:The pictures in the website make it look much better then it is. I wouldhardly say its a spa hotel. The baths are very small
Review 33:Very cheap and was good for what we wanted, near the beach and about a15 mintue walk the the main town or 5 to the other side of town. Nothingwrong with hotel just basic.
