Reviews for Hotel Presidente

Review 1:Terrible wi-fi and only available near reception! Or near elevators(according to staff that also included very few rooms in that area). That means in 95% of rooms no wifi at all! 21St century, really?! Alsothis hotel seemed to be refurbished 10yrs ago. Old and squeakyelevators. Everything looked a bit delapidated and shabby...

Review 2:Nice and friendly staff, good food, beach 10min walk away so not toofar.

Review 3:This was our honeymoon and it was the worst place weve ever stayed!!! after lots of things that went wrong including my husband having to be seen by a doctor after a chair got so hot with the heat inside it gave way and he ended up hurt on the floor! The only good thing was we got moved to a beautiful hotel in santa elulia, and had an amazing time there, all thanks to the hotel manager!

Review 4:absolutely nothing!!!!

Review 5:Only I restaurant and closed too early Liked to eat after 8.30pm but meals always rushed Bars closed too early and staff turned lights out without any warning so had to walk back to rooms in dark!

Review 6:views very beautiful Hotel very clean

Review 7:The entertainment was shocking, the entertainment staff sat in their little room mostly and it seemed they really didn't want to 'entertain'. The children's evening entertainment was the same set list of music every night. We ended up going out in the evenings to avoid it.

Review 8:For a tired hotel the cleanliness was fantastic.

Review 9:Uncomfortable beds Boring evenings lack of entertainment too far from anywhere only the beach for anything else Food repetion nightly Animation team need to make themselves more lnown publisize activites more Very important to maintain property more NO ELECTRICAL SOCKETS/SWITCHES ON HEADBOARD RT BY YOUR HEAD when they spark causing lights to flicker DANGEROUS Needs looking into

Review 10:very pretty location very green excellent splash park for young children Main pools were very busy All the staff inc manager very helpful and friendly Excellent in reception and cleaners Plenty of foods stuff/drink more variety were needed though Two sandwich toasting machines which you had to use yourself unassisted VERY messy

Review 11:Poor WiFi in reception...not sure if this is due to the hotel but if so,please improve this.

Review 12:Great standard of food though not huge selection. Good pool could always get a lounger even in august.

Review 13:My main criticism was that there was nothing undercover for the kids. When we stayed in Turkey a couple of years ago they had canopies over the childrens play area and childrens splash pool, so between the hours of 12 and 3 we could keep the kids in the shade. Here the only way to keep the kids from burning was to sit indoors and play cards. It was incredibly hot and we would have appreciated some relief from the direct sun. The other thing would have been if we could have taken the kids into the adults only area for perhaps an hour after dinner on the basis that they remained quiet and sensible. It was a lovely bar with gorgeous views and when we tag teamed to go there a couple of times I was literally the only person in it. We would have loved to sit there as a family and have a drink and look at the view. There was the usual sunbed battle, although you were not meant to save sunbeds till 830 that wasn't enforced and Andy ended up getting up early so we could have a bed by the (non lifeguarded) pool in order to watch the kids. The usual frustration otherwise - having to sit on burning concrete to keep an eye on them, while empty sunbeds with towels on sit at your back unused. One solution would be to have a lifeguard at the pool, the other to have zero 'bagging' of sunbeds immediately around the pool - they should be only used by people who are actually there (like hot desking).

Review 14:Great location and views, room clean and servicable, food a good standard for an all inclusive buffet - kids ate like horses and there were no queues. Entertainment as expected. No kids club - not a problem for us as our kids don't tend to use them, but other parents were disappointed. Really liked the beach and loved the paella at Pinos Punta and the meal we has in Ibiza Town at El Brasa.

Review 15:Staff very friendly and helpful. Food nice-always plenty of options. Splash pool amazing for toddlers, our two year old could play around in the pool and use the slides without any support from us. Very clean and lovely views from front rooms of the hotel

Review 16:Poor food choices which were repeated pretty much every night, especially if you're vegetarian or have any other dietary requirements. If you're half board then expect to pay over the odds prices for a dribble of any drink in a small plastic cup.

Review 17:Lovely location and very friendly staff who made the stay more enjoyable.

Review 18:The hotel is very outdated , the cheek to ask to rent the fridge and the safe in such an old hotel is beyond me . Hotel muy antigua , muy enfocado para ingleses , tambien soy extranjero pero es demasiado , hora de comer hasta las 9pm , equipo de animacion hasta las 11pm .

Review 19:Location was the best part of the Holliday . Little beaches around the portinatx area Sitio , perfecto para descansar . Muy bonito .

Review 20:The entertainment here was shocking, unlike previous years when I believe this hotel was a Thomson family hotel, there were only 3 reps 2 Spanish and 1 English, the children were so bored we ended up going out of the resort most days.

Review 21:Good facilities, very clean, easy check in with pleasant reception staff & good location

Review 22:1. Location - great nature, very quiet, great view to the sea 2. Infant swimming pool - it's amazing, my son liked it so much. I was coming not the first time - and would come again

Review 23:Food was very average although we were only bed breakfast Expensive extras such as buying drinks or to use other facilities such as the safe and fridge which were in our room anyway

Review 24:Swimming pool and surroundings were excellent with great views across the bay

Review 25:More umbrellas please ! Entertainment was poor just small improvements would make this hotel perfect (better music night & day by the pool, MTV or uk matches on the TV or just a disco would have been great) nothing to do after 9pm :(

Review 26:Good food, amazing beach, good pool, great value for money and a lovely hotel !

Review 27:Didn't like alcoholic drinks in plastic cups.

Review 28:Food was excellent with different lunch and dinner choices everyday. Very close to lovely beach just several steps down. The reception staff were excellent could not do enough for you and 2 first choice reps on reception every day aswell. Plenty of sunbeds.

Review 29:People reserving sunbeds far too early! The balcony was very small and all four of us could not sit out together. The food was good, however would have liked to see more traditional meals offered.

Review 30:The rooms were basic but clean. The shower was very powerful. Aqua fit in the morning was a great start to the day and my husband enjoyed playing water polo. On some evenings the food was lovely especially the beef curry and veg lasagne. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. The adult chill out area is excellent, beautiful views and nice place to relax without the teenagers. Reception staff very helpful and it was a lovely touch to have a table of food ready for us when we arrived in the early hours of the morning

Review 31:After all inclusive finished wasn't much for kids to do, 13 + 12, down the little town was hardly anything at all only 2/3 pubs ..

Review 32:Beautiful place, hotel lovely food lovely no hassle for beds by pool staff friendly, nothing to much trouble

Review 33:air conditioning machine in front of all balconues with a huge noise from 6; 45 to 22; 30. Nobody understood why the install that machine in the midle of all terraces.

Review 34:View and staff trestment

Review 35:the fizzy drinks machine was turned of for breakfast . older kids wanted a drink but only juice tea and coffee . went all inclusive so these should be available in the morning . no wine glasses at diiner , not quiet the same drinking out of plastic cups

Review 36:the splash pool for the little ones. the main pool perfect for older kids . the football in the day for guests to join in . the kids club lots of fun for the little ones and the kids disco .food was good plenty of choice . the little kids buffet was good for my little one . the staff were friendly and tried hard

Review 37:Enertainment Music playing all day around the pool.

Review 38:Staff

Review 39:Beds and pillows not very comfortable

Review 40:Great location. Friendly staff.

Review 41:the sun beds

Review 42:I liked the gym

Review 43:Because it was all inclusive I would expect there to be enough sun lounges round the pool but there wasn't. Food was very bad

Review 44:The beach was great

Review 45:A little steep incline to hotel may not be suitable for all.

Review 46:Location is very good, nice pools, good staff.

Review 47:Food average, dated look, bingo every night(why!), loads of things out of order

Review 48:The staff, pool areas, splash park and play areas

Review 49:An alround good hotel. Great for children and great value.

Review 50:loved the gym and cold tub also great choice of drinks Friendly staff

Review 51:Excellent helpful staff, great facilities.

Review 52:We didn't want all inclusive!

Review 53:Reasonable price

Review 54:Too many kids running around at night due to entertainment, it was terrible!

Review 55:Location, amazing views.

Review 56:Good value 3 star hotel, lovely safe quiet resort. Typical older style Spanish hotel. Need more umbrellas by pool.

Review 57:as we have stayed before, things havechanged tables in dining room not set out wineglasses proper napklns.all plasticcups papernapkins no kidsbuffet not enough staff.nokidsclub none exsistant entertainment.i will not be coming again which is a shame cos portinax is abeautiful place its back tothe el gre o forus

Review 58:most staff are friendly, great pools very clean plenty sun beds. decent size rooms nice food

Review 59:Despite request, the TV was never fixed. Bedroom was bit dated and unimproved.

Review 60:Helpfulness of staff. Breakfast. Swimming pool. WiFi. Bag storage/ changing arrangements on day of departure.

Review 61:Staff really friendly and professional. Good food quality and went above and beyond by leaving some food available for when we arrived after the after the restaurant had closed.

Review 62:Steep slope to beach hard work with pushchair but beach lovely lots of kids around as kids club not running yet - pools very cold Luckily we took wet suit for our toddler food was lovely people were moaning that there wasn't kids food like burgers and fish fingers !but fresh meat and fish and nice salads etc plenty for our toddler

Review 63:Reception staff lovely and very helpful and entertainment staff tried hard especially Maria who was lovely with the little ones hotel had only just opened for the season and appeared still to be getting any entertain up and going

Review 64:Pool not heated,a bit nippy at this time of year. Plastic glasses in therestaurant not brilliant but apparently health and safety with lots ofkids about. Also freezing cold horrible red wine in the restaurant. Kidsbuffet really ropy - just junk food - a bit pointless really.

Review 65:We had a lovely week here. Staff friendly and helpful especially Englishhead receptionist. 2 interconnecting rooms which was a bonus as a familyof 5. Rooms cleaned every day, beds comfy. We were all inclusive andwhilst not loads of food choice what we had was really tasty. (Westeered clear of chips and junk food which sadly was on offer every daybut all the mediterranean stuff - fresh grilled fish, meat, traditionalstyle potatoes, paella etc was delicious) This hotel is a 3 star whichdoesn't try to be more but does well at what it does. The Thomsonreps were great - non stop entertainment day and night. Fantasticlocation just a few metres uphill from a stunning beach. Very prettyresort - surrounded by trees and mountains.

Review 66:This is a fantastic family hotel. Wide range of facilities for children of all ages. Thomson staff work exceptionally hard to keep the family entertained. The beach is amazing, you ever want to leave Portinax beach, could lie there forever. Restaurant staff are lovely especially Emillio, who ensures that your family's needs are catered for.

Review 67:The rooms could use an update. You are paying for the view if you stay here. The food was all around just bad. The choices and ingredients.

Review 68:The staff! They were so accomadating and had a great attitude. The location and views.

Review 69:Firm beds Some entertainment poor No Jet skis Food a bit the same after a week

Review 70:Location Food Staff Sun Clean pool No mosquitos Great bedroom aircon Great small friendly beach Fab snokelling Good bus service but limited timetable

Review 71:Choice of food wasn't the best. Wi-Fi was supposed to be free but there were hardly any areas of the hotel where you could access it. Entertainment was poor.

Review 72:Plenty of sunbeds with an adult area only.

Review 73:The all inclusive drinks were served in very small plastic cups. These could do with being bigger to prevent numerous visits back and fore the bar.

Review 74:I have stayed at the hotel previously so knew what to expect and enjoyed that little had changed. The location is quiet and relaxing, situated in a beautiful bay, which is the experience I wanted. It's goes without saying that I would not return to a hotel that I failed to enjoy or provided a poor service.

Review 75:Cramed overcrowded places all around hotel and not buggy friendly around pool sunbathing or seating area... Room not spacious enough for a family of 4 with two buggies...,we had a bunk bed, cot and double in a standard size room.... We had to move hotels and didn't stay for our full booking ...losing our money as a result of unsuitability . There was no infant on our booking confirmation from you ... Like it stated on the initial payment page of plus free cot ..l this was pointed out by hotel

Review 76:Nothing

Review 77:I know this is a family hotel, but the children used it like a playground. All of it, not just the play areas.

Review 78:Hotel Rooms were well appointed Staff were very helpful. Restaurant breakfast was very good

Review 79:The quality of the evening entertainment and day entertainment has gone down since First Choice has taken over from Thomson.

Review 80:Excellent for families especially young kids ! Great location for beeches - Very good value

Review 81:Pool temperature in late May was freezing! Not much for older children to do.

Review 82:Hotel is great for families with young children

Review 83:fabulous holiday destination for families with young kids or if your after a relaxing beach holiday. stunning beach.

Review 84:Everything from start to finish
