Review 1：The directions are hopeless - Dont use a sat nav due to the one way street system. Go via Av. Mar Menor as the place is on the corner with C/Fallon (12) with entry around the corner. Took ages to find using the web site directions.
Review 2：Good for overnight stay especially to & from UK via Murcia airport. Breakfast choices for the price were good, and a bit unexpected.
Review 3：Traffic noise is an issue here especially over the weekend.Difficult to find.Not as near to the coast as indicated as it is nearer 30 minutes to walk to the beach and too far to carry towels,sun loungers etc.
Review 4：Beds very comfortable.Self service breakfast basic but adequate.Lady who runs place does not speak english but is very pleasant and chilled our cooler blocks and filled coffee and fridge up as soon as needed.
Review 5：It would be churlish to nit pick, although amazingly some reviewers do. Although the Spanish lady who runs the Hotel Mar Mediterraneo appears austere on first meeting she was easily won over with a few smiles and seemed sorry to see us go. We gave her the bottle of wine we had been presented with at the excellent Chinese Restaurant nearby as we could not take it in our hand luggage and she was almost in tears of appreciation!
Review 6：It was so cheap. Where else could you get B and B with air conditioning, balcony with table and chairs, en suite with bidet, shower gel, complimentary comb, free wi-fi all for just over £10 per night per person. Our room, en suite and bedding were all very clean. Excellent shower. Amazing value and less than 10 minutes from Murcia, San Janvier Airport!
Review 7：Very basic breakfast (packed cookies, bread and marmelade or butter). Packed cheese or ham would be nice. An option to make tea would be nice.

Review 10：It is a small house with like 6 rooms. Rooms are very clean and spacious. At least one room has a big balcon with table and chairs. Location is very good, you can easly park the car in front of the hotel. 7 minutes walk to the beach where you can find restaurants or just walk or ride a bicycle.
Review 11：Ten minutes walk from the Mar Menor and beachside restaurants. Very friendly landlady. Free secure wifi worked well, better than in many large British hotels.

Review 49：We have spent two nights at this hotel, the first night there was a problem with the hot water but it seemed to rectified on our second visit.

Review 51：The 'breakfast' was very much 'help yourself' to thepoint where the propietor did not appear unless called for. The coffeeand tea had to be heated up in the microwave! That was a first! On oneoccasion there were no preserves just butter for the toast. Theproprietor who had absolutely no English, not a word, explained, fromwhat I could make out, that some child had taken the preserves and runoff with them! - which she demonstrated by mime, mimicking someonerunning away! It was bizarre. On our last evening we were woken at12.15 at night by a thumping noise next door and a lot of talking. Theguests who caused the noise explained that their key card had snappedin the lock and the situation had to be rescued by the proprietor witha pair of pliers! This was not her fault of course. Also earlier in theevening there had been a lot of disturbance from a neighbouring roomwhich sounded as if the guests were indulging in furniture re-arrangement. It went on for some time. We never found out what wasgoing on. The proprietor wanted paid in cash- either that or she wantedto accompany us to another hotel to make a card payment - she was notable to accept credit cards. She does not make enough of the facilitiessuch as they were - a garden with shrubs and fruit trees which we werenot encouraged to use. It surely does not come within the category ofan hotel - there are no staff. It is a guest house or B&B. The ladyherself varied in mood between looking apprehensive or irritated whenapproached or giggling on other occasions and responding withincredibly lengthy explanations in Spanish which we could notunderstand; mostly however she was pleasant. Strangely my wife likedthe place, but then she is a bit odd herself (just joking, dear).Shewould have given it a good review.

Review 59：Although the hotel was a bit dated it was very clean and comfortable. The girl at Reception was more than helpful and provided bottled water at no extra cost. Free WiFi and breakfast included made it excellent value for money. If you are looking for a no frills hotel close to Murcia Airport this is the one. Will definitely be returning.
Review 60：As I went in November the room was a little cold. Also It said breakfast included, but this was only a loaf of bread and a toaster with some jam or butter, and a few cakes, etc. but what can you expect for £20 a night for 2 people !
Review 61：I went to visit Murcia with my Spanish girlfriend. The lady working there spoke not a word of English, which for me was good as I could practice my Spanish. The rooms were very clean and a nice size and view from the room... They supplied cold bottles of water, or cans of drink for the room for free and free WiFi. I cant believe the room was so cheap.

The room was clean, spacious and the bathroom was more than adequate. Breakfast was self-service and simple - hot and cold drinks, toast and snacks.

Review 65：It was a cozy, charming hotel, not for the rich and famous, but more for the simple traveler with not a great deal of demands. It was quiet too. I also liked the lady in charge of the hotel. She was very helpful and friendly.

I had to leave this hotel after the first night as despite yourdescription there was no fridge in room 101 so I could not keep my vitalmedication cool as insisted on by my doctor. I had to book into ref-756468912 at an out of pocket expense of euros 143 and expect a refundof my out of pocket expenses.this hotel should not be on your list ofavailable hotels for reasons too many to mention. I insist you return myout of pocket extra expenses by return.

Review 94：I actually endedd up at the Hotel Mar Menor to ask the way, and this isowned by the same person. I was told I could stay there instead if Iwished - and it was excellent! A huge room to myself, with largeensuite, full toiletries supplied. The service was friendly andinformal, speaking both spanish and english, and I was made to feelvery welcome. My stay was so that I could catch a flight from Murciaairport early the next morning, ensuring I would not panic about losingmy way from Mojacar in the early hours. I would do it again - wellworth the visit!
