Review 1：This hotel totally fulfilled and exceeded our expectations for basic facilties, comfort, cleanliness and convenient for the airport at a very good price!
Review 2：We chose this hotel for an overnight stay due to the proximity to the airport. As we were needing to go to the airport at 09h00 on New Years Day there was a little debate on check-in as to whether this would be possible. Whilst understandable, given the day, this was the reason we chose the hotel. It was however resolved and we were grateful for the morning transfer by the owner (Mum to the rescue - thank you). The room was basic but very clean and well kept - around about what you would expect for the rate paid.
Review 3：We had booked a romantic get away over Christmas,looking at all thereviews and the hotels facilities we thought we had it in the bag. Checkin as in other reviews the language barrier but we checked in and givenroom 106,the only room without terrace and balcony,our view was of theapartments at the back,the hotel write up clearly states all rooms withone or the other so gone was the romantic sitting on in the sunshinewith the bottle of fizz I had taken as a surprise for the wife,totallyspoit it. Review 17：Room spacious. Fridge. Cleaned daily to high standard. Bathroom good. Plenty of hot water. Towels replaced daily. Nice balcony. We were facing Repsol Garage but no noise. Staff were so helpful, friendly and always a smile. Will definately go there again and recommend it.
Review 18：Five minute flat walk to the Mar Menor seafront. Friendly hotel. Free bikes for a morning - not top of the range but adequate! Although situated on a busy road, next to a petrol station, double sliding doors kept the room quiet. Could have chosen a quiet room beforehand. Good, clean and spacious accommodation. Friendly, well used café serving breakfasts and snacks on ground floor.

Review 23：It was our second time at Hotel Mar Menor. Staff are really nice, our room was kept clean and tidy every day. It is close to the beach(5-10 min walk) close to shops and restaurants, always parking space around. On the main road but not noisy at all.
Review 24：It was all great.Don't be put off by the fact that it is adjacent to the Repsol garage,there is no noise or car fumes coming over the property.
Review 25：We liked the welcome as we arrived quite late in the evening.The room size was generous for the 2 of us and the beds were comfy,the aircon was free and very effective and the breakfast was served quickly and was well above what we expected.Staff had a real friendly buzz and the atmosphere at breakfast was a great mix of locals and tourists.It was about a 7 minute walk to the waterfront,great location.

Breakfast at the cafe downstairs was lovely and great to mix with the locals and Spanish holidaymakers. The family who run the place are very warm and kind. Cleaning ladies did a great job every morning and we had fresh towels every day.

Review 34：The air conditioning was almost non existent. We had booked breakfast but this was not mentioned when we checked in, so we didn't know when it was served. We had booked parking but again this never mentioned. The cost of the room (one night) was ridiculous. The owners were trying to run a cafe and hotel at the same time and service was poor.

Free wi-fi, safe deposit key and cycle hire makes it the best value hotel we have ever stayed in, in a handy location for the beach and all you need. Rooms aren't plush, but provide a TV, fridge and very comfortable beds in a spotlessly clean environment.

Enjoyed the buzz of the place especially the café downstairs with the nice area out beside the pavement where you could enjoy the morning sun with your breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble and the free airport transfer is a nice touch. Its close proximity to the beach and shops are great . And the weekly market is one block away. All in all excellent. Review 65：The hotel doesn't look attractive from the outside, however once inside it is certainly spacious and clean.The receptionist spoke English very well and was very helpful. Initially there was a mix up with the room having a double bed, when we had asked for a twin. But this was sorted out very quickly. Also a day later they moved us into a proper twin room which was probably the best room in the house, which exited to the corner balcony seen in the picture. Overall, an excellent hotel, but even better for the price.
