Review 1：booked initially on wrong night in error.Cancelled booking and rebooked the next night and hotel refused refund for the night that was cancelled and paid twice for a one night stay.Disgusting behaviour!

Convenient, completely remodeled; elevator that fits four plus luggage easily; Convenient to train station and Chartres Cathedral area, yet quiet; Room easily fit queen bed and computer desk with plenty of outlets; Bathroom was updated and immaculate with large walk in shower. Friendly multi-lingual staff. For extra charge, no hassle buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, cheese, cold meats; pastries,, rolls, fruit, cereal, coffee and tea.

Review 8：We liked everything! The staff were very good and helpful. The room was lovely and cosy. The bathroom was great. The breakfast was very good. The location, not far from the Cathedral and the town centre, was good. We shall stay there again when we return to Chartres.

Review 9：We have just spent three wonderful nights in Chartres, a beautiful city and well worth a stay. The hotel Jehan de Beauce was the perfect location opposite Gare Chartres and we can't speak highly enough of our stay here. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed. The staff's attention to detail was impeccable. All the staff were very friendly and patient. Our room was so tastefully appointed that we found it hard to leave. Breakfast was another delicious bonus.Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back ourselves.

Review 11：Very large bedroom just lack of mirrors. Only one in the bathroom, none in the bedroom - which is fine unless you're both getting ready at the same time or having to wait till the condensation clears from the shower.

Review 12：Bit peeved to find no bathtub. Also the plug was stuck; despite reporting this on the 1st night, it was not fixed for the 2nd night.

Review 13：I booked a night here, and a night in the Poemes de Chartres next door; as they are under the same management, they decided it was simpler for me to stay in this one for both nights. This is a modern, well-appointed hotel, spotlessly clean, as one would expect from a ****. Opposite the station, but well insulated from traffic noise; about a 10 minute walk to the cathedral. Friendly staff.

Review 14：Some earlier and rather mealy mouthed reviews on website, but they did not deter us and we were glad we ignored them. We had a great stay.

Review 15：Very warm welcome from staff members who were equally affable in both English and French and they were very good about guiding us towards the local attractions and illuminations at night in Chartres. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of dishes, even scrambled eggs and bacon !

They were very helpful in keeping some antibiotics refrigerated for me and made them available each time I needed them (although a refrigerator in the room would have been better!) Review 27：We liked the nicely furnished large room. Everything was very clean, the linens and towels were spotless. The bed was comfy and the shower was big and with good water pressure. Everything looked new and clean. Our room faced the main road/station but the curtains blocked the light perfectly and there was absolutely no noise coming through the windows. The staff was nice and helpful. You can park in front of the hotel to unload bags, there are several options for parking nearby (you have to pay during the day, free public parking at night and on Sundays).

Review 39：The hotel was a good introduction to Chartres, I came to see the historic cathedral but discovered a small charmig town filled with handsome streets and squares lined with outdoor cafes and restaurants fully worth a trip in themselves. Jehan de Bauce is close to everything.
