Review 1：No hot what in room had to report this 3 times, wifi connection poor, quality of food at breakfast was poor, seemed to be cheapest produce used. Mattresses on beds too hard.

Review 5：The hotel has seen better days. It is still ok but the facilities are getting old. Th family room is rather small. In October most of the people there were old germans and we as a family felt a bit out of place. It is a bit remote to any city or out of hotel entertainment. The beach is rocky so not adequate for children.

Review 6：good breakfast, a lot of facilities and just next to a hotel with a water park where the kids could enter after paying day pass. The room itself was nice though with a beach view.

Review 7：trying to find the hotel was a bit tricky as the sat-nav directed us to another golf resort nearby , however I am not sure if that was human error on our part! It was problematic to find , yet the location was super ....If you have a car !

Review 8：The view from our suite was breathtaking . We arrived late at night and I could hear the sea , only in the morning did I realise we were literally beside it ....Wonderful. The breakfast was great and catered for all tastes .

Review 9：The resort was very isolated. Was a bus/taxi to the closest towns of Banus and Estepona and the nearest shop was a good 15 mins walk away.

Review 23：There was nothing to like bar the location. When the staff were rude we complained to the director (manager) who told us..."this is a 4* hotel because of the 250 metres squared, not the facilities or food". I would NOT recommend it.

Review 24：The buffet was not good, plates were empty and didnt get refilled. We har 4 meals at the buffet and everytime was the same. The staff were doing as good as the could but to many guest and to little staff. Our table wasent cleaned during dinner and we had to wait 40 minutes for our drinks. Resturang La Torre was the worst.. Our toilet smelled like urine and the cleaner said that it was always like that with so many guests. Allso the pool was super dirty. We stayed at the hotel in june and hade a great stay but we wont be returning.

Review 25：Great activitys for the kids and great location´. Kids club was so good, made the whole stay better. Our boys ( 11, 8 ) loved it.

Review 37：I knew this hotel in the '70's and wasn't sure what to expect when I booked. I had chosen it mostly because of it's location as I was en route from Cadiz to Malaga to catch my flight and the hotel was less than an hour from the airport. I shouldn't have been concerned…upon arrival after a gentle request I was given a very nice newly refurbished room, tasteful neutral colours, spacious with very lovely views of the gardens and the pool [the photographs of the pool do not do it justice] The food was excellent, simple and fresh. I am a seasoned traveller and have found a lot worse in some 5* hotels. I had a very pleasant stay here and will be returning again very soon. Thank you.

Review 38：its all spanish guts and caters for spanish and german,guests, the hotel its self looks good on pictures and on paper, however in the light of day is very old and tired need a complete refers. We stayed here 5 days and had to go out every evening to eat as he food was awful and entertainment was in spanish and designed for older 70 plus guests. the staff at the pool and bars spoken very little english. there was a constant old smell like a old peoples hme in the hotel and for what we paid were dry un happy, this should not be advertised on a english website.

Review 39：We were given a refurbished room in a quiet location, bathroom huge and spotless, Lovely view of Gibraltar and coastline. Full board was excellent value. All areas were clean. Resort on the beach. Talked to some English guys who said that the tennis coach and facilities were excellent. Appeared to be lots of golfers using the hotel as there are many golf courses and rfestaurants in the surrounding areas.

Overall the hotel it ok food makes up for the disappointments around. I will defo not be staying here again. Marbella all the way. Review 45：The hotel it self was in a good location. We had hired a car so it was much easier for us to move around to sight see. Otherwise there may be a lot on the resort but u will find they are all over the age of 50! If your young and u want to relax then this hotel isn't the one! It's mainly for older and golf players well the hotel name says it all! Golf resort! lol other then that the food was good for meat eaters we want full broad you will not be disappointed in food but if your veggie like my wife and son they only eat pasta most nights.

Review 46：We fee, tv quality, no light on the road from the hotel to the main road. no Swedish TV channel, TV24 for example, a lot of Swedish was staying at the hotel.

Review 47：You have to walk out of the indoor pool area to get to the changing rooms... And the change in temperature is terrible! More so as the doors leading to the outdoors doesn't seem to close properly. We went beginning of February when the temperatures outside were about 8 degrees!

Review 50：The property needs a modernisation program. It was full of miserable German OAP's, quite depressing. The lay out is not very practical. The staff age matches the clientele, and speaks little English. It is COLD in the hallways, lobby, and even the rooms. No heaters? But at the price, we're not complaining.

Review 51：The hotel is a typical 70ties block, with a brown and gold, low ceiling lobby. Oops, what have we booked? Everywhere you look, it needs refurbishment, till you get to the room in Block 2. This was recently refurbished, clean spacious, new bathroom, flatscreen, great seaview. Unfortunately no chairs in the room? The BF and evening buffet where adequate, don't expect culinary miracles. The hotel has two golf courses, the Old is good, the New Course a waste of time. The Golf Desk is very efficient and helpful.
