Reviews for Camping Le Bois Fleuri
Review 1:When we arrived the receptionist mentioned that we had booked through booking.com. We had got a cheap deal and it would appear that we were allocated accommodation accordingly. The site was very quiet and we could have easily been given better accommodation. The chalet was very dated and tiny, no way is it big enough for 4 people. Kitchen facilities were totally inadequate. The oven was a table top that had to be placed on the draining board as there was no other work surface. The hob was a small 2 ring halogen that couldn't fit 2 pans comfortably at the same time. All plates, cups and glasses were tiny. Curtains were too small and didn't fit the windows. Bedrooms were very small we had to use the second as a dressing room. The shower cubicle was a joke. It was so small it was just about big enough for a 5 year old. There were two electric fans but they couldn't be used as there was no convenient sockets. The only mirror other than the bathroom was in the living area and nowhere near a socket. Everything about the chalet was cheap and basic. When we spoke to the receptionist at the end of our stay she agreed that they are old and are due for replacement next winter. In the meantime I would advise anyone who wants a decent standard of accommodation not to book a chalet for 4. We also found the campsite was quite hard to find
Review 2:The only thing positive I can say is that the camp itself was pleasant and our chalet was in a good position.
Review 3:Useless telephone and wifi connections
Review 4:The privacy and cleanliness
Review 5:that there wasn't a microwave
Review 6:the pool
Review 7:Better pillows and not having designated parking place
Review 8:Accommodation was good
Review 9:accommodation very basic had to pay for linen which was expensive and did not include a change over two weeks or any pillow cases!!
Review 10:swimming pool
Review 11:Waited for service at the bar for quite a while but we weren't in high season and not many people about so could not blame the staff really.
Review 12:Everything . Really friendly, location and facilities excellent. the cleanliness and services in the chalet we chose were fab and it was so cheap. Even provided free transport so we did not have to drive into the town and lovely warm swimming pool. And all this out of season - brill.
Review 13:Nothing
Review 14:The situation was excellent, especially since the free train went to Argeles regularly throughout the day. The caravan was spotless and very well equipped, with excellent hot water and shower. Entertainment was provided for the children, the shop was well stocked and all the staff were extremely friendly and efficient.
Review 15:not enough parking space causing necessity to park even out of the camping. too crowded swimming pool
Review 16:nice, quiet area - location a few km from the nearest city. staff very friendly and helpful
Review 17:Our chalet was a bit dark and had plain plywood walls which left it feeling a bit like a garden shed. Also you had to pay a good deal extra to use the gym which was very small anyway.
Review 18:Nice pool and facilities.
Review 19:If you don't want to buy everything you need for expensive money in the campground supermarket bring: toilet paper, kitchen role, washing liquid, kitchen towel. You also have to bring or rent bath towels and bed sheets. Breakfast costs 5,50€ and is a bit poor - dinner buffet costs 18€ which is quite expensive for what you get. Choice of food didn't really change the 2 nights we were there. The show on the welcome evening (always sundays) was very boring.
Review 20:Great place, staff spoke several languages, great pool area, little train to the city center for free and leaves a few times per day
Review 21:The chalet/shed, lack of privacy, lack of sunlight, being under trees, lack of comfort,no comfortable seating, lack of a suitable indoor bar/ rest area in cold weather, really basic accomodation. Very expensive drinks at the outdoor bar (5 euro's 60 for a cheap vodka & coke. Chalets/sheds really close and consequently very noisy when the neighbours returned at midnight.. Comparable to youth hostels in the uk.
Review 22:Excellent area, location. The resort is superb, relaxing and child/ family oriented. Lots of beaches, cheap eating and things for a young family to do. Would love to return to the area but definately not the same hotel.
Review 23:far from the beach. heat off, was quiet cold
Review 24:easy c/i. free parking. clean and confortable housing. small market.
Review 25:the location of our chalet was superb-so peaceful yet convenient for all amenities The commitment to recycling
Review 26:Strange smell inside the mobile home
Review 27:Good positioning, guiet place, nice surroundings, well organised camping
