Review 1：Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were of the best ingredients, providing plenty of veggies, fruit, fresh fish and meat. Still, during a week the selection became a bit boring, more variety would have been delightful.

Review 2：The hotel is beautifully located by a small bay, having very scenic views to the sea and the coastline. The breakfast room and its cozy terrace face the bay, providing stunning views to the sea bathing in the morning sun. Son Caliu is a very quiet and relaxing place, compared to the mass tourism brutality of the neighbour resort Palma Nova. Still, the scenic shortcut road by the sea to Palma Nova takes only 10 minutes and gets you to very nice sand beaches suitable for kids.

Review 3：Not at all handicap friendly only one handicap room, steps everywhere and y husband is in a wheelchair. They have little mini elevators by the steps which have large gaps for chair wheels to get caught in. NO access to the pool area at all. The elevator was not large enough for the two of us to fit in, I had to put my husband in then run up or down the steps to get him out. It was hard work to stay there.

Bathroom is smelly due to leaking bidet and this technical problem could not be sorted out following our complaint. Furniture is dingy and rooms would need refurbishment. 50% of sunbeds on the beach is damaged and worn. In a view of this, hotel is more than overpriced...

Review 17：The SPA is very nice. The view in the ocean front rooms in old building (not renovated) is excellent. The front desk team was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory. It is located in a residential area in proximity to low budget restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. The décor is a mix of styles, tasteless art work, a lot of the furniture needs replacement or to be re-upholstered.

Review 26：The internal public areas are stunning, however no one uses them and the bar was closed for the ten days of our stay. Despite going to the pool area around 0900 after breakfast, all the sun beds had been reserved ...many of which were not even sat on until mid afternoon. There is also a lack of parasols in the pool area making it impossible to escape from the sun! Our room ...317..was in desperate need of upgrading and the bathroom was very poor for a 4* hotel. The shower over the bath leaked onto the floor and despite complaining at reception it was clear that this could not be fixed ..the bottom of the batbroom door was rotten as this had been happening for a long time! The reception staff appear disinterested and at no point did anyone ask us if everything was o.k The food was okay but we have had far better . This hotel is clearly rated 4* due to the Spa. The rest of it in our opinion falls short.

Review 29：Second time here and air con not great last time but this time working as should be. Polite and efficient staff, nice breakfast on terrace and drinks early eve. Pool area pleasant and always a chair available. Not noisy mostly senior crowd.

The biggest problem was the hotel also owns apartments and gives the use of those staying there access to the pool which was noisy for the whole week. If you're looking for a rest, make sure you go at the right time of year :)

Review 82：My husband and I have a really good time at the Son Caliu. We had a room with a sea view and that made our room so ventilated. The room is spacious and quite clean, like every single part of the whole hotel. Breakfast is amazing. So many variety. Very international. My husband is German and I am Brazilian and we were both happy with it. The waiters as all the staff are super friendly and polite. There a few restaurants near the hotel by the beach that we had lunch and dinner. However there is a particular one on the top of the road (a very cozy cafe) that serves scrumptious tapas and the owner is friendly as well. I do not recall the name of the cafe but you cannot miss it. We are happy with our choice of hotel and city. We wished it never ended.
