Reviews for La Pension de Ana

Review 1:Lorries thundering by under window until early hours of morning Locals coming and going laughing and shouting at the top of their voices until gone midnight, Cars pulling into carpark with doors slamming and tyres screeching on gravel Incessant dogs barking and setting each other off until after midnight. In short it was the perfect location until we tried to get to sleep to rise early the next day to continue on the Camino

Review 2:Staff REALLY helpful! Great value for money. Right on the Camino route

Review 3:The rural location ensures a cacophony of animal noises during the night.

Review 4:Warm, clean, welcoming guest house with adjoining restaurant, which is clearly well used by local people. The staff were so welcoming.

Review 5:Early risers

Review 6:Staff where outstanding gave up there evening off to cook us a evening meal Room always clean had wifi in room parking on site Right on the ca mino

Review 7:The room had just a slight odor of food because the kitchen is downstairs but shouldn't stop you from booking.

Review 8:This is a wonderful family runned pension. The pension has a fantastic restaurant, where all the locals go. It is located on the Camino about a 10 minute walk into town. The room was very large with two beds in one room and a third in the other. Bathroom was large with shower. The place was very clean.

Review 9:The day we stayed was very warm and the lack of air conditioning or a fan made sleeping somewhat difficult. "Garden" area wasn't really one.

Review 10:Very friendly, helpful staff. The food and drink available were both good.

Review 11:There is a bar under the room. They have made a party during the night and we can not sleep well. It's far way from the city center.

Review 12:The owner is very helpful

Review 13:Unprofessional. I guess the owner was hosting a birthday party for small children. It was very noisy till dark with bunch of shouting children with moms, who happened to be all smokers.

Review 14:The owner I finally met was very nice.

Review 15:Noisy, bad ventilation in room

Review 16:good shower.

Review 17:Room above restaurant noisy at night.

Review 31:Really liked the staff, very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean. Although not in the middle of the town I liked the location in the countryside, it was tranquil and really only 5mins walk back to the town and to Camino trail. There was also a bar downstairs and the food was excellent.

Review 32:Not a good location if starting camino from Sarria better to stay in town a bit hard to find on foot

Review 33:Friendly staff made feel welcome and was looked after

Review 34:The room was listed as a superior single but didn´t even have a rubbish bin or a chair in it. There was no toilet roll provided and it was poorly furnished and very very noisy with dogs barking outside in the middle of the night and noise from the downstairs cafe

Review 35:The room I had was upstairs and very hot, I ended up sleeping outside ona couch in the garden. As a traveller sleep is really important. Thereare several other pensions I would try that are around there.
