Reviews for Chambres d'Hôtes du Moulin du Vey
Review 1:Wonderful riverside location within walking distance of outdoor activities. The staff is exceedingly helpful. The rooms are small, but so is the price.
Review 2:Old house, no heating when cold, even when the owner herself goes with coat.... Same Housese nearby costs 50-55 Euro. This one does not worth the money-90 Euro....
Review 3:Nothing.....
Review 4:The location was tranquil. The grounds were beautifully kept, and the warm welcome and help from everyone there was second to none. As a single traveller I felt very much at ease.
Review 5:We did not like the reception area or the welcome and the whole ambiance of the place was more akin to a student hostel than a hotel. We ordered breakfast but when we saw what we were going to get and what we were going to be charged,we quickly changed our minds.
Review 6:The location was very good and the building very attractive. We liked our room but only after refusing the first two we were offered.
Review 7:Fantastic location right by the river (which is where you want to be since most restaurants are there rather in Clecy town centre); very friendly and caring staff; free parking on-site; converted mill with plenty of character
Review 8:Nothing
Review 9:Really loved the Moulin du Vey. It's location, on the bank of the Orne river is perfect. At night, we left the window open, to listen to the river tumbling over the weir outside. Le Vey is a lovely little village, with a good selection of bars and restaurants on the opposite side of the river. All tastes and budgets are catered for. There is plenty to do within walking distance, which meant we didn't even move our car for the 2 days we were there. Highly recommended!
Review 10:unfortunately the most beautiful part of the garden is not open for the hotel guests the bath is very narrow and not comfortable to take a bath or a shower
Review 11:quiet area friendly and helpfull staff beautiful view

Review 14:Simple B and B in restored mill.
Review 15:The location, in its own grounds by a river. Our 11 year old grandson was with us and he was delighted with the animals and river.
Review 16:A bowl of fruit would improve the breakfast which is typical French style.
Review 17:Excellent location close to restaurants and walking routes
Review 18:The setting and wonderful breakfast
Review 19:dated decor
Review 20:beautiful views and the sound of the flowing river - really friendly owner

Review 24:Beautiful location / setting
Review 25:The dog nipped at my husband's leg.
Review 26:Loved the location. Friendly owner. Restaurants were walking distance.
Review 27:Stairs, narrow & dark.
Review 28:Position, area ,garden & staff. Comfortable bed, good en suite facilities.
Review 29:Beautiful Surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, Great breakfast, mumbling River in Front of window
Review 30:The room is uncomfortable. The stairs are very narrow (2 floors), there are no side-bed tables, because the bed is the width of the room. The ceiling in the bathroom is slanted, and in order to take a shower one has to squat.
Review 31:the location & surrondings are beautiful
Review 32:The place is beautiful in a peaceful area near the river , the room was very nice and comfortable , breakfast was served in a special old designed room , good coffee , croason and jam . The family is very nice .

Review 35:Room in "attic" and sloping ceilings made bathroom and toilet difficult. QWould avoid third floor room in future.
