Reviews for Rectoral de Goian
Review 1:A bit isolated for young people and didn't like having to disturb the owners each time we wanted a drink. Could this be done differently perhaps?
Review 2:The hotel rooms were lovely. Food was home made and very good. The breakfast was fabulous, with lots of home made cakes, tortilla, bread and jams.
Review 3:A beautifully restored property with friendly hosts in a relaxing setting. Elegant dinning area with outstanding food. Our best meal on the camino. Property is a few minutes out of Sarria but pick up and drop off on the camino were very easy to organize. Highly recommend.
Review 4:Fabulous casa rural a bit off the Camino, but the fabulous hosts picked us up and dropped us back on the trail in the morning. Great place to relax, outstanding dinner & breakfast, and very spacious and lovely room. Highly recommend as a special stop on the Camino.
Review 5:Remote, so as solo traveller in off peak time, a bit too remote
Review 6:House was lovely. Rustic, historic and in a lovely setting. Owners were very accommodating.
Review 7:Everything. Although it is a 10-15 min car ride out of town (the hosts pick you up) this a great place to stay. Room was BIG and food was excellent. Recommended!!!.
Review 8:A bit difficult to find at first as it is not on main roads
Review 9:The hospitality of Javier and Raquel was exceptional. The dinners they prepared each evening were fantastic, the best meals you will find anywhere! No exaggeration!
Review 10:That I could not stay longer.
Review 11:Everything.....picked up @ station , only staying 1 night before camino Would have liked to stay longer. Cooked me dinner....very nice. Also left me @ start of Camino.....very quaint , spotlessly clean....100per cent.
Review 12:nothing!
Review 13:We were made so welcome by the owners of this family-run guesthouse. The highlight for us was the amazing home cooked food. We also loved the relaxing countryside location.
Review 14:We were 3 couples, stayed there for the first time and found it absolutely great, food great everything beautiful.
Review 15:Good home cooked food
Review 16:Exquisite dinner with local wine followed by an equally amazing breakfast. All local produce. Will definetely return.
Review 17:The owners live in the premises with their two babies, and you become quickly almost another member of the family. They are most friendly and helpful. Our room, nº 4, was well appointed and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful. Breakfast is all right. Dinner is only by prior arrangement and with little choice. Really, it is best to ask what do they intend to offer that evening, and make your choice whether to stay or to find yourself a restaurant (which are a few miles away)
Review 18:difficult to find!
Review 19:Wonderful place, lovely family and superb local food.
Review 20:The kids were a little noisy.
Review 21:The hosts, the home and the food -- best meal I had in Spain.
Review 22:The wifi could only be reached in common areas.
Review 23:The facilities are in superb location. Staff very friendly.
