Reviews for H Hôtel

Review 1:Locations/cost

Review 2:Old installations and far from center. They pretend to a sell a ecological hotel but it is what all kind of hotel usually do. Very expensive.

Review 3:The hotel is adjacent to the main through-road cutting through the town from east to west, so not as peaceful as its position otherwise suggests. But the trees probably do much to reduce pollution, and the road is pretty quiet overnight.

Review 4:Located in a suburban neighbourhood among some fine Victorian/Edwardian villas, but offering easy access to the station and the old town - about ten minutes by foot in each case. The hotel is next to a pleasant little park, and has a small garden/courtyard of its own, shaded by olive trees and palms where dinner is served. Breakfast is reasonably good, and dinner is as good as you'd find in any nearby restaurants at the very fair prices charged.

Review 5:The wall-to-wall carpet in the room.

Review 6:The free parking around the hotel is useful. We enjoyed having breakfast in the garden. The hotel is just one minute from the highway exit.

Review 7:Hotel is very old fashioned (even after refurbishment), room was very old and didn't match the picture (with modern room) from the booking, no balcony, water tap worked badly, location is close to a loud road.

Review 8:Free parking, clean.

Review 9:St Tropez in mid August is unquestionably expensive so given the options and cost of other properties this hotel is a good value. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located.

Review 10:I decided to stay at the H Hôtel instead of the usual budget hotel, but was sincerely disappointed. The hotel was overpriced; the rooms were reasonable and the bathroom was awkward and clumsy. The wifi was weak and the room amenities were minimal.

Review 11:Not at all like the pictures. Although we were moved to an apartment versus the hotel. Mixed interactions with staff. Some friendly, some could care less. Also, no one is around during the day.

Review 12:Decent breakfast for €10

Review 13:Would have been even better with a pool as beaches are 5 k away/.

Review 14:Location was great just off the end of the Toulon road on a roundabout, GPS found it

Review 15:Hotel is a little remote, a long walk from the town.

Review 16:Room was nice and plenty of room, everything worked, free Wi-Fi and good parking. Breakfast OK, range of cold food for breakfast was reasonable. Hotel has a restaurant, reasonable food and prices.

Review 17:Although it is renovated, it seems to have been done cheaply so I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel is falling apart in a year or two... the floors are creaky and the bathroom seems particularly cheaply done.

Review 18:We had a good 3-nights stay in Hyeres. The hotel is renovated and comfortable. Free parking and close to the highway which was perfect for us as we were visiting lots of the neighbouring towns during our stay. The garden is lovely and a very pleasant place to eat breakfast in the morning; breakfast was good although the coffee was from a self-serve machine... not the best. The staff was very nice and accommodated us very easily when we asked to extend our stay from one night to three; they gave us the same rate we had from booking.com

Review 19:Instant coffee for breakfast. The terrace had a lot of traffic noise. A little too far, about 1.6 km, to walk to the center of of town.

Review 20:Large rooms. Free parking. Free Wi-Fi. This hotel was near the end of the autoroute, although it was in a residential area. The rooms and windows were well insulated, and we only heard the traffic noise Monday morning.

Review 21:- Breakfast was terrible, not at all worth 10 euros per person... After the first morning, we decided to have breakfast elsewhere.- Parking spaces are really tight. It was okay for us as it wasn't the busy season, but wouldn't want to park there in July or August

Review 22:- Clean rooms- Friendly staff - Problem with the airconditioning was fixed immediately

Review 23:Rooms were clean and tidy and excellent value for money. Staff very helpful and provided us with suggestions for the area. Evening meal really enjoyable and the waiter/host/barman could not have worked any harder to ensure we had a lovely family meal.

Review 24:Staff was not very friendly. Breakfast buffet was not very good.

Review 25:Comfortable room/beds. Easy access to and from the town. Terrace. Clean and nicely decorated.

Review 26:Access to the hotel from the main road isn't particularly obvious

Review 27:Quirky, environmentally aware. Nice outdoor seating area, friendly staff. Ten minute walk to train station

Review 28:For some the 1 km walk to the centre of town or the train station may be a bit far. Bus to the beaches is a few blocks.

Review 29:Very pleasant and helpful staff who speak English . Room quiet and a wonderful king size bed which is super comfortable. Terrace in the garden and places to sit outside the room for example a verandah with tables and chairs and lounge on the room floor. Restaurant meals available in the evening.

Review 30:no wifi from most of the stay which affected our planning and trip organisation :(

Review 31:Friendly staff

Review 32:Position to town.

Review 41:parking

Review 42:Poor WiFi in our room, small breakfast.

Review 43:Breakfast is served in open air garden.

Review 44:the name of the hotel changed to HYERE HOTEL no one telles us before.

Review 45:clean .location .free wifi

Review 46:Fine for a couple of nights and not spending much time there. Nice outside space despite being close to the main road.

Review 47:Very comfortable room, king sized bed. Liked the fact that there were additional areas to sit in and a computer available. Flat walk to old and new part of town and plenty of parking. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Review 48:Breakfast - poor quality for price. Shower weak water pressure. Our room key was left out along with a few others on the front desk after the reception staff had gone. Anyone could have taken it. We mentioned it the next day but they just said it 'shouldn't have happened'. No apology.

Review 49:Very comfortable mattress Convenient location of hotel Nice outside area with garden furniture

Review 50:This is not a dislike but just pointing out that it is a 20 minute walk to the old city. It would not suit some people but for us it was a pleasant level walk along tree lined streets.

Review 51:Friendly staff. The decor was good and newly painted. There is a courtyard filled with trees and shrubs. On site parking although we didn't use it. The old city of Hyeres is beautiful and it's worth climbing up to the ruins of the old walls and château.

Review 52:the walls seems to be really thin and the privacy limited The location is bit tricky and not much support from the staff

Review 53:the bed was large and spacious, nice floor

Review 54:The employes are great and recept me very well! They speak English and always have a big smile in their face! South of France! I loved these people and region!

Review 55:Poor lighting in bathroom. No refrigerator. Few electrical outlets.

Review 56:Quiet and friendly. Short walk to the town center. Very pleasant surroundings for breakfast.

Review 57:I confirm that it has a good location than the city of Hyères, and to reach the beach and Porquerolles. Nice staff and good breakfast in the garden. Quiet location and comfortable.

Review 58:Central position in the city of Hyères and good facilities for railway station and route for Porquerolles. Very nice staff all english speacking. Good breakfast. Quiet location in a comfortable setting!

Review 59:no utilities in the bathroom like bathing cap, slipper, body cream or something else, ancient hair dryer, every kind of services, incuded bus stopo, was very far, the city centre is fifteen minutes walk, there is no way to reach the city centre by bus in the night.Good for travellers with car!

Review 60:big room, comfortable bed, large bathroom

Review 61:location, no easy transport

Review 62:great bed, size and comfort

Review 63:Longish walk to/from the restaurants in town

Review 64:Easily accessible from main road.

Review 65:Nothing

Review 66:Location convenience

Review 67:A restaurant with not only good food but also a good service. Honestly we found the restaurant was above what we expected from a three star hotel!

Review 68:Room was clean, nice size. Staff was helpful.

Review 69:Bathroom was old

Review 70:Breakfast was complete to a good price. Attention from the staff was always nice. Super friendly environment.

Review 71:Clean and freindly

Review 72:not walking distance to beach

Review 73:staff was very helpful and friendly easy to find good parking

Review 74:Some staff were rude and there were issues with the wifi internet.

Review 75:It was reasonably priced and well located for our needs.
