Reviews for Hôtel Champ de Mars

Review 1:The facilities aren't exactly state of the art, but that being said they aren't very uncomfortable and in my room everything worked. There was not really a common room and the common areas were quite limited.

Review 2:The staff is very friendly and ready to help in anything you should need. The breakfast (paid) was also well served with fresh bread and french croissant.

Review 3:The staff here were among the friendliest I've encountered at a small hotel. I was offered a coffee and given helpful directions. The room itself was simple but clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Beziers isn't particularly big, so, although not in the historic core, the hotel was located close enough for my needs. No complaints.

Review 4:The wifi signal wasnt always great

Review 5:It was a great little hotel with great facilities and will recommend for people who wants a secret getaway

Review 6:We were made very welcome after a long hot days cycling. The breakfast was good.

Review 7:comfortable spacious room in very quiet hotel in a quiet street. helpful staff.

Review 8:Doors banging in the night. We may have been unlucky with our fellow guests but there did not appear to be enough sound insulation between rooms/ floors

Review 9:Friendly staff and proximity (10 mins walk) to historic centre

Review 10:The bathroom was really rather grubby - the toilet was by no stretch of the imagination clean. Furthermore, we discovered to our horror that adhered to the wall of the bedroom was something from the inside of someone's nose.

Review 11:The owner upgraded us on arrival from a room with a shared toilet to a larger room with its own toilet and shower for which we were grateful - however, when I booked, there was no mention that we would originally be sharing facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful, and kindly gave us a bottle of water on arrival, which was extremely welcome as we were parched! It wasn't too far from a large shopping centre and the train station.

Review 12:I have no problems with the hotel - exactly what we paid for. We had agreat stay and felt very safe in it.Beziers itself isn't the most pleasant town. I understand the town has some serious social problems with unemployment and immigration etc etc. So prepare for an edgy walk home at night. My female friend said she wouldn't feel safe walking around the city if she was alone. Having said that, Beziers seems up and coming. Some incredible restaurants! The beautiful old bridge. Le canal du midi. The sweeping panorama from the cathedral.

Review 13:The hotel itself was fine. The rooms have comfy beds, tv, shower, toilet, balcony. There is wifi in the lobby (it didn't seem toextend to the bedroom on the top floor). It was great value for money.

Review 14:Bad value for money Room with broken windows Room with cold water tapnot working Needs redecoration - all rooms are old with dirty carpets

Review 15:Broken wall tile and unfinished wall around the entire bathroomentrance should be fixed before renting room out again. Should not beacceptable to owner.

Review 16:Staff is courteous, very friendly and sincere. They are a great five-star asset to this hotel. Excellent location in the heart of the city.

Review 17:Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable beds.Good location and good value for money.

Review 18:Nobody there when arrived .Room up 3 flights of stairs no lift nowhere to leave luggage downstairs. No breakfast

Review 19:Noisey neighbours.

Review 20:Friendly, no fuss accommodation and comfortable
