Reviews for Le Méditerranée Argelès

Review 1:Weather hot and sticky so mosquitoes about. We had taken precautions but still got lots of bites. It would have been nice to have mosquito we could open windows and door at night.

Review 2:Lovely setting amongst a lot of trees and shrubs. Very peaceful and quiet - it was September. Swimming pools were great, indoors and outdoors. Mobile home fine for the two of us although described for four. Lovely porch to sit outside for meals. Not far from Argeles, although just a little too far to walk. There are facilities to cycle in but some on busy road.

Review 3:No oven or grill. Barbecue could be hired at a cost (only gas bbq allowed on site) Restaurant expensive and unappealing. The location of the particular mobile home we stayed in was poor, due to lack of any privacy and in shade all day. Entertainment was poor. Pool was particularly cold, indoor pool a little warmer.

Review 4:Argeles and surrounding areas are great. Train bus was inexpensive and essential to get to the beach (Still takes more than 10 minutes) Shower was good. Accommodation was generally good.

Review 5:Stay in any of the bungalows or mobile homes but NOT in the hotel building unless you would like loud night shows 1 metre from your room window. Good location to explore the surrounding area. Nice pool

Review 6:The water temperature in the pool as it was so cold, and the fact that the men had to wear swimming trunks and not shorts. The music from the next door camp site went on until midnight each night, a bit annoying..

Review 7:The cabin was nice and clean, staff pleasant, site was away from the town which was a big plus as the town was so busy,

Review 8:What we did'nt like was we thought we were getting a camp to stay in not the onsite hotel, which was small. However it was clean so i have no complaints about it

Review 9:Pool didnot open until 10am. I was checking out at 11am! Room little noisy as it was over the bar but it did go quiet about midmight.

Review 10:Very clean and felt very safe.

Review 11:the calmness

Review 12:All of the campsites in this area are quite a long way from the beach if walking with young children

Review 13:The quietness of the campsite. Having 2 rooms for a family instead of one room with 4 beds.

Review 14:Funny smell in the hotel area we stayed breakfast was overpriced, indictative of a 'captive market' mentality. out of high season so grounds/unused accommodation looked like they were not yet ready for guests but with the constant wind this must be hard to keep tidy.

Review 15:grounds were nice but... pool was Ok for an hour or so room was basic but clean. Etape/F1 standard but with a nicer bathroom.

Review 16:Quite difficult to find without GPS

Review 17:The swimming pool, the playground for kids and football/ basketball field. The restaurant - very tasty and very reasonably priced. The little shop - very handy and well stocked. We had a wonderful 2 days there, wished we could stay longer :))

Review 18:We arrived 5 minutes late and although trying to ring twice beforehandthere was no-one to welcome us when we arrived. We spent 20 minutestrying to find the hotel on what was really just a campsite and thenfound that there were actually people in the reception cabin. They werevery off hand with us when we walked in. My children were also notallowed in the pool with there swim shorts on...they needed speedoswhich would have cost me 36 pound for my sons and husband at the campshop. We therefore didn't use the pool during our stay. The bar, shop and restaurant were closed most of the day and the snack bar at thepool didn't sell water! There was limited goods in the shop when itwas open...no croissants etc. The campsite was also too far to walk intothe resort. We also had to pay 7.20 Euros to reception on the second dayfor tax....this was not stated on the booking confirmation.

Review 19:The Manager was so rude just for bringing some Chairs to our zone. That actually they should put before. Really bad actitude.

Review 20:Quiet

Review 21:A little hard to find even with Sat Nav

Review 22:Hotel in camping ground. Great pool/slides, bar, restaurant.

Review 23:Noisy with nightly entertainment below our window every night and exercise classes every morning!

Review 24:The room was basic

Review 25:The resort
