Review 1：We were greeted and shown to our small but perfect room--it had all we needed and was very clean and attractive. There was a safe and easy place inside to store our bicycles, a big plus! The breakfast the next morning was extensive, fresh and beautifully presented. Set us up for a hard day of cycling!

Review 2：We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy family hotel. The owner and his daughter are just lovely and very helpful. The restaurant is very good and affordable. Breakfast is served at your table including fresh orange juice and a different treat every morning. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and had a nice balcony and good WiFi. The center of the village is within walking distance and both Parc Nacional d'Aigüestortes and Parc Natural de l'Alt Pirineu are a short drive away. Highly recommended if you value great service over a large hotel with lots of facilities.

Review 4：Hospitality, breakfast was amazing- everything was homemade, everything was delisious, every morning the owner made a new type of desert, the omlette was the best I've ever had, freshly squeezed orange juice. Great atmosphere, very clean, very comfortable

Review 7：Stayed at beginning of June, we were the only guests, so restaurant not open except for the served and adequate typical light breakfast. Plenty of other restaurants in the village, we used the owners recommendation which was good. Attractive interesting village with historic routes in agriculture, now a successful not over commercialised winter sport and summer hiking tourism village with several hotels.

Review 9：I'm so glad we stayed here instead of any of the places in Espot. The owner was so nice, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable, if fairly simple. Easy parking in front. There is a nice common room (not the dining room) where we ate the cold dinner we'd brought along. It was only a few kms back to Espot, where we caught the shuttle Land Rover to take us on the National Park trail. The hotel owner affirmed our plan for a hike of several hours. The breakfast was somewhat more than standard and served us well.

Review 10：The greatest thing about the hotel is its host/manager Jaume, who was charming and very helpful. At a very reasonable price (including a very nice breakfast) the hotel also offers a 14 euro menu dinner at the restaurant for guests only, which includes varying Catalan cuisin and a bottel of local wine. The hotel is situated in a lovely town, very close by car to Espot and the National Park. Overall, the hotel was a very unique experience, worth every pennie!

Review 14：The hotel location is wonderful. It is a small famely hotel with only 6 rooms. We got a room with two beds but it was easy to bring them close to each other. The room was very clean but small. The staff did every thing to make us comftoble. The breakfast and dinner were amazing. The best dinner in the all trip. הגענו למלון בעקבות המלצה שקראנו באתר ובהתחלה שראינו את החדר חשבנו שההמלצה היתה מוגזמת. החדר ואמנם קטן אבל נוח, שקט, נקי ובעל מלון נחמד ברמות שקשה לתאר. אל תוותרו על ארוחת הערב!!! גורמה

Review 25：Great staff (very very nice and helpfull). We have stayed in many hotels in our 10 days trip in spain and this was the best hotel we've stayed in. The room was clean and was big enough for us. We truely recommend. מלון מקסים- עם צוות מסביר פנים ונחמד מאוד. ארוחת הבוקר מאוד מיוחדת ולמי שרוצה יש גם מסעדה במלון (לא אכלנו בה אבל אם ארוחת הבוקר יכולה להעיד על א. הערב אז כנראה שמדובר במשהו מיוחד). החדר מעץ ומקסים. מדובר במלון קטן עם שישה חדרים בלבד והיחס אישי ונהדר. בנוסף המחיר הוגן לחלוטין. מאוד ממליצים

Review 26：I think the staff is not able to speak in english (we spoke in spanish), but they are very kind and with a little effort of both parts I believe it wouldn't be any problem.

Review 27：A wonderful hotel close to the park. It has only 6 rooms therefore the treatment is excellent and very personal. We were in a very big and quiet room, I think the biggest one, with an extra room for another guest or maybe a child, even with his own TV. Special mention for the restaurant, in fact the main activity of the business is its restaurant. Most probably one of the best in 25 miles around. In it we could enjoy fantastic meals (between 30 to 40 dollars/person) . A very good choice if your goal is to enjoy the park and eat well on evenings.

Review 28：A very warm welcome from charming host Jaime; excellent breakfasts in the very characterful restaurant; nothing too much trouble; the restaurant is probably the best in Esterri d'Aneu, with a good selection of wines, beers and licors. They even cater for vegetarians!

Very friendly, owner, excellent facilities and an excellent restaurant associated with this quite small hotel. We would highly recommend the half pension option. Esterri d'Aneu was an excellent base to explore the the surrounding mountains.
