Reviews for Hôtel Du Soleil
Review 1:Hours of the reception are quite limited, or are said to be so. Sometimes it was actually staffed when they were not advertised as being so.
Review 2:Small hotel, accessible, though not especially so to busy parts of Hyeres.
Review 3:No air con. It was very hot and the hotel couldn't even supply a fan for the room which made for a couple of very uncomfortable nights.
Review 4:Breakfast on the terrace and the fact that it was close to old town but in a quiet area.
Review 5:Very small room wouldn't really be suitable for a long stay. No air-conditioning and sun all day, so very hot in high summer. WiFi did not reach to top floor rooms. At least a fan would have been a help.
Review 6:Location very good for town centre. Breakfast outside very good. Staff very pleasant.
Review 7:the noise was terrible all night people outside smoking making a racket then came inside, carried on making noise, scooters outside seemed like students they carried on and on and early morning no air con so had to have the window open, was very smoky
Review 8:close to town centre friendly staff
Review 9:Absence of air-conditioning combined with very hot building/room + with opened windows you hear all night carsgoing around with maximum volume music on. Noise insulation within the hotel itself is very poor - during the night you hear everything what's going on. What's worse - your small kid hear it too and it's very akward.
Review 10:Staff are friendly, Very comfortable and nice design room, clean room 5+, nice bed and good wifi connectivity. Superb breakfast Parking available 10 euro. Close to the Town Centre and various sightseeing, Villa Noailles. etc. I will come back again.
Review 11:Small room. Lack of air flow so pretty stuffy in the room- no fan or air con (plus we stayed in Oct so the summer must be pretty unpleasant).
Review 12:Quaint, clean and friendly
Review 13:The man in the reception wasn't kind at all. The room was too small for two people and for100 euro per night. We had a lot of noise at night from people in the street. Without air conditioned and it's hot in summer.
Review 14:It's in the historic center
Review 15:Shower was a little on the small side.
Review 16:We loved the location up in the old town (10 min walk from centre) and the staff were always very friendly and helpful if we had questions.
Review 17:small expensive, not very clean, stuff not very friendly, location, car parking very expensive...
Review 18:cat in the breakfast room
Review 19:bathroom too small and lacked privacy. No headroom near beds. Very cramped sleeping area.
Review 20:Friendly staff.
Review 21:Situated very close to the old town but very steep to walk.
Review 22:Cleanliness. excellent breakfast.
Review 23:Cool location near the medieval part of the city
Review 24:Beautiful former villa; very comfortable room. Owner is absolutely lovely and the breakfast is good (on the lovely terrace!).
Review 25:It's closed to a very nice art museum on the mountain top, nice view and friendly staff : )
Review 26:Great location in old town -pleasantly untouristy.
Review 27:Very small room. Thin walls that do not filtrate noise from the neighbouring room.
Review 28:Excellent location.
Review 29:NO WI-FI NO AIR CLIMATISEE
Review 30:Friendly staff, nice sorrunding. A smaller closet would make it perfect.
Review 31:No parking, steep road (difficult with the car), tiny rooms, unfriendly staff.
Review 32:Location, breakfast
Review 33:Location on a very steep street. No elevator, no way out in case of fire except for only access up stairs.
Review 34:Clean rooms ans confortable beds.
Review 35:Very small room & bathroom.
Review 36:Close to township & restaurants. Quaint old hotel.
Review 37:Room very small
Review 38:Breakfast
Review 39:The surroundings are noisy, but not that much.
Review 40:I booked at the last minute and arrived kind of late and the receptionist waited for me so thank you for that. The room and bathroom were clean and WiFi, TV and power outlets were working so everything's ok with me ;)
Review 41:We were lucky to get a parking space as it was off season, but I would hate to find a park in this area otherwise.
Review 42:Fantastic place to stay, great location close to the old town. Staff were friendly and the rooms lovely, although the shower didn't have a moveable head so it was really hard to have a shower in the confined space. Would stay here again though and was our favourite accommodation for our trip.
Review 43:No air-conditioning.
Review 44:The location was fantastic being just a few minutes walk to the centre of the old town. Also private parking (paid for in advance) was well worth the charge.
Review 45:The air conditioner worked in the hotel except in my room. No one elsewas staying on the first level and don't know if it didnt work inthis 1st level or they didnt want to turn it on.Leaving the window open was terrible because it was too noisy and was awaken through out the night. I left exhausted and wished I had not come to Hyeres!
Review 46:It was close to the bus stop, it was very clean, and the staff was nice(although no one spoke English.)
Review 47:Reception could have been better. It took a long time to rouse someone to get into room, despite being within recommended check in time. Reception was not particularly warm, although other staff were more welcoming and helpful Room was much smaller than expected, with a limited view, despite request for room with a view. We were told the small hotel has approx 25 rooms, which would explain the cramped feeling - a bit like being in a battery pen. The hotel is located on a very steep slope in the old town of Hyeres, accessible by a narrow road This makes parking difficult, unless you want to pay 10 euros a day for hotel parking - which we did on the second day. No hair dryer, fridge or climatisation. Ventilator in bathroom did not work
Review 48:It was clean, with basic amenities, and close to city centre
Review 49:Close to city center. Nice staff.
Review 50:room very small and very hot
Review 51:I spent four marvellous days/nights in this fmiliar hotel. "Nobody is perfect", but this hotel was.

Review 53:its position close to the center and to the splendid VILLA NOUELLES and silence.
Review 54:No elevator (but they never said that there is one)
Review 55:Nice and charmy, at reasonable price
Review 56:Very small rooms.
Review 57:Location very central.
Review 58:Parking not privat and Wery hardly. Roooms smoll and doesn't have conditioner and fridge. Hotel without elevator and caddy guy.
Review 59:Location

Review 61:It was Nice
Review 62:Quite noisy in the morning, noise travels throughout the hotel
Review 63:Staff, good breakfast and lovely breakfast room, location in the oldcity
