Reviews for Hotel Résidence Anglet Biarritz-Parme
Review 1:Was expecting a 2 room apartment. It was actually 1 room with bunk beds in the hallway leading room the entrance to the main room, albeit there were doors to separate the two areas.
Review 2:Great setting, friendly, helpful staff and plentiful parking. Easy to find and great facilities.
Review 3:1. We had a studio for a week and there was no service at all - not even emptying of bins. 2. Breakfast, which we had only the first morning was automatic, no staff, with uindrinkable coffee. 3. Studio had limited equipment and no cleaning material which with no service were essential 4. Hotel was almost unoccupied with restaurant closed and nobody using the pool
Review 4:The independence of a studio.
Review 5:It all seems stuck in the 1970s. Smoke from other balconies unpleasant It takes an hour and a half to walk to the beach, the other option is to catch the bus to Biarritz.
Review 6:Clean room quiet at night
Review 7:Wifi not great and no kettle/coffee machine Outdoor pool not heated - shame :-(
Review 8:Good location, free parking, light airy room with double bed and separate bunk bed area. Pets welcome :-)
Review 9:We booked a tripple room for adults and got a double bed which was okay but the other two beds were bunker beds for kids which is not acceptable for adults!!!
Review 10:room was not well cleaned (vacuum cleaning not done, terrace was dirty, windows were dirty), noise insulation of room is poor
Review 11:nice swimming pool and sports facilities for children (tennis and table tennis), all rooms have balcony view on the swimming pool, easy access from the hotel to Biarritz, Bayonne and beaches
Review 12:It's very overpriced for what you get, we paid £180 for 1 nights accomodation in an apartment and there was not even facilities to make a cup of tea or coffee. We did ask for the kitchenette to be opened for us but they will only do that for stays of a week. Totally ridiculous, especially when you have small children, we will not be back.
Review 13:Not a great deal, apart from the man who gave my daughter some sponge fingers for breakfast as she wasn't eating, there's not much else to shout about. The pool was nice but cold.
Review 14:Bar and Restaurant were closed
Review 15:- room standard differs from the offer description - staff knows basic English - Wi-Fi is very slow or doesn't work
Review 16:Too bad we could not use the pool at night :p other than that it was very good.
Review 17:Small bed. Tired facilities.
Review 18:Great swimming pool
Review 19:Everything
Review 20:Nothing
Review 21:Most of it...
Review 22:Not much...
Review 23:Cleaning lady at 8:00 in the morning coming to the room without knocking, expensive breskfast, not heated pool
Review 24:Parking and wi-fi included, welcoming staff at the reception
Review 25:The area is quite pricey so be careful and check prices first . Wepaid 20 euro for 2 beers ! But thats not the hotels fault , theirprices are ok
Review 26:The room was nice and had a lovely balcony . It is easy to find but in anice quiet area
Review 27:Hotel close to the airport and far away from the beach. Heavy traffic. The hotel had one other couple and us .At the beach all hotels full.
Review 28:All nice and clean On departure earlier in the morning at 7.30 a manasked us to pay again for the stay. Then finally gave in to claimonly 30 E.
Review 29:restaurant closed on sunday evenings. Only a receptionist on duty who also had to get bar drinks/coffees so there was quite a wait as she still had to do check-ins. Coffee was lukewarm and drinks seemed quite pricey. The receptionist was very friendly though and was rushed off her feet!
Review 30:swimming pool, rooms with a balcony overlooking pool
Review 31:Breakfast is overpriced for what you get.
Review 32:Spacious, comfortable room for our family. Free parking. Good air conditioning. Great location -- easy access to Bayonne and the beach.
Review 33:In my opinion hotel needs some updating.
Review 34:It was really easy to find a hotel and we didn't have any problem with the parking. Our room was spacious with a big balcony. In the bathroom really good power shower.
Review 35:It is a pity there is no access to tea/coffee making facilities in the room itself. The plug positions are a bit inadequate for your own travel kettle.
Review 36:This was our second visit to this hotel but it continues to maintain an excellent standard for its price. The room is spacious and spotless. The staff are efficient and extremely helpful.
Review 37:Mattresses need replacing.
Review 38:As we stayed there at the end of the season the hotel was pretty empty, restaurant was closed as was the bar but the very nice and well spoken(English) opened up the bar for us . The swimming pool was just what weneeded after a long drive from Madrid, the rooms all have a balcony overlooking the pool, but the bed could have been bigger and the mattressestoo soft for hotel standards. A good place to stay if you are travelingto Spain but will be very busy in the high season due to pool andlocation near the very nice beaches 10 minute drive away.
Review 39:The bed was uncomfortable and no tea or coffee facility in the room.
Review 40:Staff very helpful. We only had an overnight stay on our way toSpain. Arrived later than expected but managed to get dinner ok .Food and service was good. Although we requested a ground floor roomthey suggested that because of a coach party on 2nd floor, we mayprefer a larger room on 4th floor lvg over swimming pool. Which had alovely balcony.
Review 41:Our room and en-suite was in need of some serious updating. We were given a family room (although booked a double, but we didn't mind that) and there were 2 bunk beds in addition to the double bed, and a dining table and 4 chairs. The layout was not appealing and the decor was dull. The bed was only just acceptable, being very low with a hard (?cheap) mattress. This was OK for 1 night only. Ours was a late booking, so maybe the other rooms were of better quality.
Review 42:The hotel is well-situated and all rooms have a balcony with a table and chairs which overlook the swimming pool. Also adjacent to the pool, and outside the restaurant, is a patio area for al fresco drinking and eating. The car park is good, free, and well-sheltered by large trees. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff, particularly the welcome from the receptionist on arrival. The dining room staff were also very efficient and helpful. The evening menu was average and breakfast was adequate.
Review 43:Lack of access to any refreshments during the day not even coffee , if you wanted lunch etc you had to leave the pool & go into town centre
Review 44:Staff very friendly & helpful, Pool very nice , Rooms good
Review 45:Some of the staff non-friendly. Additional costs for kitchenette andbaby cot and the fact they are not for free were not announced upfront.I was disappointed to find out I have to pay more during check-out.Sauna is poorly equipped - nowhere to sit and relax.
Review 46:Good hotel for a short stay, practical for families because the room is a kind of apartment, nice swimming pool, resaurant is poor but good restaurants are not too far away.
Review 47:Don't change the sheets very often when you are in hotel mode. sometimes forget towels. leak in the shower. But will go back as I find the place very very handy.
Review 48:not a luxury hotel but vetry confortable , very practical. The rooms are spacious enough, nice balcony. The kitchenette is very handy.
Review 49:very clean , nice friendly staff, easy to find and close to motorway, had a fabulous meal, and easy breakfast next morning ,would definetly say there again while touring
Review 50:The worst aspect of the hotel was the comfort of the bed. I have stayedtwice in the last month and the bed was particularly uncomfortable onboth stays. The bed sags in the middle and I woke with back and neckpains on both visits. Everything else about the hotel was excellent butthe bed would make me think twice about booking again.
Review 51:The hotel is clean, friendly and good value.
Review 52:Unfortunately I fell sick with food poisoning (not from the hotel'sfood) and was unable to leave the hotel to buy food or medication; I wasrefused some bread or pain killers at reception which I thought waspretty poor, supposedly they didn't have anything.
Review 53:This hotel was clean, calm, comfortable, had an excellent swimmingpool. I would stay here again, and the staff were friendly and helpfulon the whole
Review 54:No facility to make tea/coffee unless paid big deposit.. Breakfastpaid for, only continental..cooked breakfast would have been niceas paid for,
Review 55:The staff friendly. Clean room and very hot water. Tv in room, oneenglish channel. Double room and one single, single was a bunk bed, butjust off the double room, better privacy re adults sharing, forovernight. Swimming pool heated. Spar and a one set evening meal ifrequired. Continental breakfast only.
Review 56:Wifi without any information and tv without international channels
Review 57:Clean room ,balcony vue, silence and car parking.
Review 58:Where it is, need car to get around
Review 59:Breakfast overpriced.

Review 81:Room was spacious. Swimming pool and tennis were good.
Review 82:Cleaning. Maintenance of room
Review 83:Good staff
Review 84:Hotel could do with a upgrand in rooms regarding fixture and fittings. Hotel looking old and tired needs a face lift .
