Reviews for Ferienwohnungen Dr. Neubert

Review 1:We did not have a great experience with the person operating the apartments. part of it could be a language barrier, but he seemed to understand enough English that I am not sure it explains everything. We checked into the apartments and our 2 year old daughter was exploring the place and getting on the beds. He made a big deal about how we couldn't mess up an extra bed because of the prices he has to pay for cleaning (we had put 2 adults and forgot to add her as an additional occupant, which normally no one charges for that age anyway, but he was saying since we put 2 people we could only use one bed!). It was a 3 bedroom apartment, my personal opinion is that when you rent the apartment you have the right to use as many of the beds as you need to. For all he knows the 2 people renting the apartment were traveling together and would sleep in 2 separate beds anyway! I would have let this go, except...after we checked in about an hour or 2 later he started calling me on my cell phone. When we finally connected he kept saying that he was waiting at the apartment for us to check in and when were we going to get there? it took at least 10 minutes to finally convince him we had checked in and paid already. At this point he seemed to say he was waiting for a different family to check in but I had suggested that several times during the call. This is where it is possible the language barrier was the problem except he seemed to understand me at times so it was really unclear if that was it or if he possibly really did not remember we had already been there. Finally, the check-out time listed on our Booking.com receipt was 11 am. The next morning we went out to breakfast and returned about 9:45 and the cleaning people were already in the apartment! He was not there, so I showed them the time on the paper and they left while we packed up.

Review 2:The apartment itself is very, very nice and clean. The location is a bit far off from the city center but walkable. It wouldn't be a bad place to stay except for the staff and the noise from the street but you can probably do better.

Review 3:Wonderful, stately apartment with high ceilings in an older style building. Dr. Neubert is very friendly and welcoming - it's important to him that you're happy with your stay. Since July was the season of the region's famous apricot crop (Wachauer Marillen), a bowl of apricots was awaiting us on our kitchen table, which came straight from the apricot trees in the building's lush courtyard gardens! The beds were firm yet comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, and the decor was country-style yet elegant. The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with all appliances, utensils and cookware. We only stayed 2 nights, but it's definitely a place where you could comfortably spend a week while exploring the town Krems and the Wachau area via daily outings.

Review 4:A lovely apartment overlooking a garden. Excellent facilites and a very helpful owner - bowls of apricots and cherries from the garden greeted us on arrival. Friendly pizzeria on the corner worth a visit.

Review 5:A little out of the way

Review 6:Large comfortable rooms and equipped kitchen

Review 7:Laundry soap used to wash sheets difficult for my hypoallergenic husband.

Review 8:Large apartment, very nicely furnished, complete kitchen, spotlessly clean.

Review 9:I stayed just one night in 3-rooms appartment with my family. But I was really impressed with all-clean, fresh, comfortable, quite. Very good place, highly recommended. Also best wishes to mr Neubert, who was very kind, helpful and was each in kontakt when needed. Thank U a lot!

Review 10:The curtains are not blackout and so some light gets through - if this is the type of thing that annoys you then bring an eye mask! Also ladies bring a hair dryer if you think you will need one

Review 11:Lovely period apartment a 5-10 minute walk from the old town. 5 minute walk down to a wooded promenade for a nice walk or cycle In one room there is a double bedroom and tv, in the second room there is a single bed and in the third room a single bed. There is no separate living room but there is a separate kitchen with dining table It was a nice touch to leave sparkling water in the room Dr Neubert is a lovely accommodating man

Review 12:I have no complaints.

Review 13:The apartment is large and comfortable. It is elegantly decorated, although simple and unpretentious. The location is very close to the oldcity, on a charming street that is very accessible.

Review 14:Very nice apartment, not far from the center. In the kitchen we could find everything and more. Convenient beds.

Review 15:Location was excellent. Shops/bars nearby.
