Reviews for Millau Hotel Club

Review 1:Wifi in reception area only, you could people talking in corridor rooms had thin walls.

Review 2:Location of the Hotel was excellent, free parking was good and the sun loungers around the pool were nice after a long day travelling, the out look was over sports fields Rugby and football and the river canoe centre.

Review 3:On four occasions I was telephoned by a member of staff to tell me not to leave my room or the exterior of the hotel with no explanation. In fact the caller immediately put the phone down when I asked for an explanation. On one of these occasions the unknown caller who used my surname - unknown to him! - stated that one of my family members was trying to contact me as there was a problem. Incidentally my family members did not know that I was staying at the hotel !!! It was a very unsettling experience and one that would prevent me from using this hotel again. Neither would I recommend it. Explanations at reception were not satisfactory.

Review 4:Evening meal was excellent.

Review 5:Bed very uncomfortable and bathroom, no toilet seat and poor shower. Breakfast very over priced at 10 euros per person with hardly anything to choose

Review 6:Swimming pool, bar and views amazing

Review 7:Although concrete and tubular steel the hotel was built around a nice swimming pool. The furniture was new and comfortable. We found the restaurant good value. We enjoyed the heat wave in June and enjoyed aperos and meal at the side of the pool overlooking Millau...magic!

Review 8:Nothing

Review 9:Position of hotel Clean room, comfortable beds Helpful staff Wonderful view Close to motorway but very quiet Breakfast adequate Parking for car Good free wifi Close to Carrefour shop

Review 10:Didn't stay long enough to find anything wrong.

Review 11:Great location, a pool (if only we had time), a good view, a well presented and tasty breakfast. A town with all sorts, for all tastes. We will return.

Review 12:Room was due for a refit. Mismatched clothes hangers. I have seen more up to date bathrooms in Youth Hostels. Tea making facilities in room left a lot to be desired.

Review 13:Sheets were clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was OK and they now have a toaster.

Review 14:no bread for toast at breakfast. couldn't use the pool because it had been cleaned that day. (just a shame as I was looking forward to a swim)

Review 15:the room was lovely , clean and had a kettle to make hot drinks. view was really good, and very peaceful. breakfast was ok staff were very helpful. good location.

Review 16:The whole place needs closing down.... It's like a 70,s timezone. I wouldn't have paid more than 30e for this standard. I didn't have a shower as it was dirty, the floors are covered in grass matting which was filthy. The toilet bowl was black and needed bleaching. Very very bad and very dirty. Didn't eat as the hotel put me off!!!!

Review 17:Checking out!!!

Review 23:The hotel and its facilities are in need of refurbishment

Review 24:Easy access to hotel Dinner was nice

Review 25:10 minutes walk into town with good choice of restaurants, ideal for overnight stop over, secure car park

Review 26:shower should be put higher

Review 27:large room, good beds, nice restaurant, lovely place to be

Review 28:Good location for vehicle access though a bit hard to find with GPS

Review 29:Noisy in the rooms during the showtime

Review 30:Next to the river

Review 31:One member of staff trying to deal with reception and breakfast -poor breakfast overall at 10 euros

Review 32:location comfort value

Review 33:great location

Review 34:Lovely location on the outskirts of the town. Swimming pool was excellent. Bar and food was great.

Review 35:Bathroom a little tired

Review 36:In house Grill/bar. Swimming pool and sundeck.

Review 37:bathrooms are starting to look a bit tired and rather thin towels

Review 38:Secure parking for Motorcycles, good food and clean rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with a nice choice of fresh food - just right to start a riding day.

Review 39:The hotel is VERY old.

Review 40:The hotel was surprisingly vary clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've had in a hotel/motel of this type and the breakfast buffet was amazing.

Review 41:The club needs to have its rooms and baths renovated. It's a bit worn down at the heels.

Review 42:The location is great, with easy access to all parts of Millau.

Review 43:Really nice hotel with swimming pool, Spa etc There is a 'Grill' attached which served excellent food, albeit limited, menu Staff were reasonable though most could've taken lessons from one really lovely chap serving meals A Positive experience but really for stops, not somewhere you'd take a partner to be romantic

Review 44:Bedrooms could do with a bit of an upgrade but were clean & comfortable

Review 45:Good location for exploring the Tarn Valley area, hotel public areas nice, food acceptable

Review 46:Millau town a huge disappointment. Dirty streets and generally scruffy. Hotel a bit dated and a refurb wouldn't go amiss.

Review 47:Staff performance and the facilities were good. Hotel in general of a good standard fine for a short stay. The town of Millau was a 10 minute walk away. Secure parking for my motorcycle with a 'bike friendly' management. Food provided was acceptable but not award winning.

Review 48:The rooms are very basic both in size and decor. The showers were not suitable to use.

Review 49:The pool and terrace and its location within walking distance of a beautiful city and a lovely drive to the gorge du Tarn, where there are fantastic sights and water sports.

Review 50:you must check in by 7 pm, which I consider early. We were delayed and arrived very late - gates were locked and we were lucky that someone heard us and responded. Although check out was listed as noon, the cleaning crew wanted us out of the room by 10. At night, they locked the door from the hall to the reception - security seemed very heavy here.

Review 51:location and room size, good bathroom and shower water pressure.

Review 52:The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The bar man was excellent and made our eveing delightful and entertaining and I might add mixed us up a very potent cocktail! The hotel was clean and the rooms basic but very comfortable beds and one of the very few hotels in France that supply tea and coffee in the rooms. Also the restaurant was excellent really good food, we were tired so didn't want to venture into the town so a big bonus. All in all very pleasant and great value.

Review 53:The bathroom needed some minor attention.

Review 54:Staff were extremely helpful. The room was a good size and we had a nice view over the town. We enjoyed the breakfast and thought it was value for money.

Review 55:No negative comments.

Review 56:The location is very good. The receptionist very friendly and helpful. The waiter in the restaurant very helpful. The food was reasonably priced and of very good quality. Free parking in private carpark is a bonus. WiFimwas a bit hit or miss as signal not strong.

Review 57:The rooms are on two floors and there is no lift so if anyone in your party has mobility issues it would best to request a ground floor room.

Review 58:The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the drinks tray was an excellent facility. The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner and reasonably priced. Drink prices were very good at only 2Euros per glass of wine. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 59:Close to town with views of the Millau viaduct. Very friendly staff. Secure parking, motor bikes under cover. Nice swimming pool. Very relaxing place to stay.

Review 60:A bit quiet

Review 61:one night stop over got there at 19.30 and left 11 next morning but seemed ok although a bit quiet, was a Wednesday night though. A gate to secure the carpark was ok and food was ok as well

Review 62:slightly high prices for drinks but food good value.

Review 63:everything about this hotel is top class from the reception to the bar staff and chef very helpful and pleasant owner, food excellent, will stay again & recommend to others.

Review 64:Nobody on reception we requested double bed got twin very basic hotel

Review 65:Bathroom very tired. All worked but for how much longer?

Review 66:Location, very quiet but only 10 minute walk into town centre.

Review 67:Check in friendly and easy. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Good free WiFi in reception.

Review 68:Very nice setting, live music in restaurant, helpful staff
