Review 1：Front desk staff was not very helpful. Asked them where the bus was and it was one block away yet they did not know this. We took a taxi that cost 15.75 euro to find out that once we were on the bus it went within one block of note. Every time we asked the front desk a question they acted like we were imposing on them and did not know the answer.

Review 3：Our fault for not checking beforehand, however they allowed pets, someone had left their dog barking in the room opposite for most of the night. Average age of customer probably 65+

Review 4：Location of the hotel, staff were good.

Review 5：On the first evening of our stay we decided to avail ourselves of the buffet in the restaurant at a cost of €15 per head. We all paid and received a voucher for the meal which was collected by a member of staff when we sat down in the restaurant.We assumed this was the receipt for payment. On leaving day our friends were asked to pay the €30 for the meal they had had when they arrived. The staff were insistent so he paid up to avoid a scene. However this was incorrect and an administrative error on the part of the hotel. Mr.Roberts[ our friend ] would like his money back please as he was charged twice for the same meal!!! An early response to this would be appreciated

Review 6：In general it was very good...excellent location, helpful staff and very comfortable. However our visit was unfortunately marred by an incident on the day we left which happened to two friends who were on holiday with us.

Review 7：The horrible experience with the bed, very uncomfortable. The sheets were kind of wet, and it was some kind of oilcloth or under-cloth on the mattress under sheets. Feels really weird. The receptionist made us to pay during check-in, which was unusual for us.

Review 10：the hotel is in front of the beach, 1 min walk and you can lay on the sand. with 10 min walk you can be in the city center. the breakfast is good even if the room is quite noise

Review 13：We booked a double room, but when we arrived we were given a twin (ie two single beds), the woman at reception was very rude when we asked about changing (usually hotels can do that), to the point where my fiancée just wanted to leave the hotel (which we considered, but we'd already paid so decided to just put up with it). On top of that, after parking the car my room key didn't unlock the carpark gate as promised, so I had to climb the fence to get out! Breakfast had a reasonable range, however they just had one lady cooking hot food to order so you had to queue up for ages just to get two slices of bacon.

Review 15：The staff at reception were not the most friendly, and the male that was working most of the days was possibly one of the most disinterested workers I have ever come across in a hotel. The Wi-Fi in the hotel might have been free, but felt like going back in time it was so slow most attempts to use it were impossible.

Review 16：The location of the hotel is great for the beach as you are on top of it. It is really handy for walking into the town centre with its variety of bars and restaurants. You are also only a 10-15 minute walk from the main water sports area for the Roses bay.

Review 19：For 180,- the room was quite poor, next to the Hotel is a very bad smelling, small "river". The staff was exept 1 very friendly person, quiet "unpersonal". I am a Hotel owner myself. If it the spot was mine, lots of things would have to be improved. Cleaness of the room was ok, but the stairs, Corridors and elevators were just dirty. Extremely bad coffee : )

Review 20：Lokation at the beach very nice, easy to walk the dog, more or less calm ( for Roses : ) Breakfast ok, closed private parking ( no reservation possible, so you just have to be quicker then others)

Review 23：The hotel is directly in the beachfront with free car parking right next to it. It's extremely clean and the staff are very helpful, speaking many languages and always friendly. We have stayed in this hotel in 2014 after just walking in looking for an available room, and we enjoyed our stay so booked to come back again in 2015 and was not disappointed. Highly recommend.

Review 42：We didn't like that the room didn't have a fridge inside, which is important during the summer and bed which were some-kind hard and uncomfortable to sleep. Additionally, we specifically asked for a double bed, but at the spot they told us that they couldn't guarantee such claim. Another poor factor is the parking. The hotel has a private parking for his clients but it's very small and not everyone can find a space. There are some parking spots outside the hotel, still it's hard to find a spot. Especially in the evening, parking was awful!

Review 43：The breakfast was excellent!! The choice of food was very good and you could even order your eggs or bacon to be made at the time you arrived. We also chose to have dinner at the hotel, which was also AMAZING !!!! The menu changed every day and the variety was very good. Everything was well-cooked, some of the dishes at sight. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned every day and smelled nicely. Happy as well that they had air-conditioning (a facility not sure in the hotels around) especially during hot noons! The sea view was also incredible, although partial, and the location of the hotel fantastic, one minute walk from the part of the beach with the palm trees.

Review 45：Our room was refurbished and very nice but air conditioning didn't work. We reported it but it never fixed. All food has to be consumed in the restaurant area an not in bar area or outside by the pool even though there are tables an chairs there very odd. All in all though a nice place but make sure you ask for rooms 502 to 511 as they're the ones that have been refurbished

Review 53：Overall the location of the hotel is good. Maybe my expectations in general where too high. But the least i expect from a hotel is that the beds are good. These beds are very hard and gave me a back pain. Also you cannot adjust the airco system. Just on off switch. The vent is very loud and we had to put it off in order to sleep.

Review 111：A lovely family friendly hotel right by the beach. Very close to many bars and restaurants by the beach. Short walk to the lovely old town of Roses. The hotel was opposite a very good restaurant open for lunch and dinner called Jabali. The hotel room was spacious and had a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. It was quiet at night. Breakfast was included and good value. A great place to stay.

Review 122：- very poor for 3 star hotel breakfast - very small swimming pool - in 2 days we didn't have any cleaning - extremely rude receptionist! People on reception wanted to cheat us on check in. They gave us cheaper room. Only from 3rd intent and 2 hours of negotiation with receptionist we got the room which we booked and payed. When we've asked for any 'compensation' or at least apologies the receptionist (as I understood at the end it was one of the managers or even a Director of the hotel!) started to shout at us telling that 'at the end you got what you wanted! what else do you want from me?!!! Nothing happened that you moved from one room to another!'. She was extremely rude! The worst ever check in I ever had! If you don't want to spoil your holiday choose another hotel!

Review 123：having to leave ....! it would be nice to have some net curtains in the bedroom so that one could have daylight but not be fully on view to everyone outside - at the moment you have to pull the curtains and put the lights on Also, the baths are slippery so it would be safer to have a rubber or synthetic shower mat to stand on in the bath when taking a shower.

Review 124：The whole place has a nice friendly light airy, pretty and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are helpful, food is good (we only tried breakfast so cannot comment on the other meals) and the terrace overlooking the sea with its round pool and panoramic view of the bay is really delightful A lovely place to stay for all ages.
