Review 1:WFI hit and miss in room it only worked in certain places in room. Rooms ready to be freshened up by repainting but it was the end of the summer season

Review 5:nothing at all.
Review 6:the friendly and incredibly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. the ambiance, true french mountain hospitality. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the self cooked boiled eggs. The half board option was a real bargain, wonderful traditional 4 course meals. I didn't want to leave
Review 7:Breakfast room needs updating, bit expensive ESP as you need to pay extra for sauna and steam and no swimming in winter
Review 8:The view, the big comfy bed, bathroom, power shower
Review 9:We received excellent, friendly service from all the staff. The hotel has lots of character and is in a great location. Our room had views over the village and over to Courcheval in the distance. It's only a short walk to the cable car & on arrival the owner arranged our ski passes. We would definitely stay in the Hotel Ancolie again.
Review 10:The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Overall the hotel was clean, comfortable and warm. The breakfasts were excellent and the restaurant served good quality food at a reasonable price for a ski resort. And all this only 3 minutes walk from the cable car.
Review 11:Helpful knowledgeable and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Review 19:everything!!
Review 20:Superb staff, felt very relaxed, excellent food, close to ski lift, loved putting on warmed ski boots, felt welcomed and as if we mattered
Review 21:everything!!!
Review 22:We chose this hotel because it said it was 3 miles from La Plagne, France, where we were going to watch a Worldcup Skiing event. It may be 3 miles by ski, but by car it is an hour long drive, over miles and miles of switchbacks. Poor advertising on the part of the hotel.
Review 23:Beautiful town. Very kind hotel staff. Comfortable room.
Review 24:WiFi access was not possible from our room - one have to get down to the lobby to get the Internet connection.
Review 25:Excellent location - very cose to the ski lift connecting the village with a great ski area - La Plagne. Very friendly staff - remarkable, even if it sounds normal. Tasty breakfast buffet (for additional 11 euro). The restaurant was also great with a wonderful kitchen and service. We liked a lot our stay in this hotel!
Review 26:very little
Review 27:guy on the reception was very helpful and very friendly as were all the staff we encountered hotel was clean and food was good. would definitely stay there again
Review 28:Lots of add-ons: breakfast, jacuzzi, etc. made trip more expensive than hoped. Note triple rooms utilize attic space with very low a-frame ceilings. Wi-fi not accessible from room, as advertised.
Review 29:Good location. Friendly staff. The restaurant was good quality for the price.
Review 30:There was nothing I didn't like. The whole experience was great.
Review 31:Absolutely loved the friendly welcome and staff who couldn't doenough for you...from booking lift passes to serving drinks in the bar.The rooms were spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day. The food wasexcellent - 4 courses every night! Nothing was too much trouble...evento providing Paracetamol for a headache! It was a great break andwe'd definately return.
Review 32:There are only a couple of minor points. The ski boot dryer was not on long enough to completely dry out the boots. The resturant menu was delicious but it would be nice to have changes over the week.
Review 33:Wonderful, helpful staff and good facilities. Rooms were comfortable and clean. 5 minutes from the ski lift. We would have no hesitation in going back there again.
Review 34:My partner and i found this hotel ticked all the boxes for our ski trip. The food was excellent, staff very very freindly, location to amenaties was perfect. We could not fault it in any way. Can't wait to book again. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT
Review 35:No choice of menu for evening meal. Although they did provide an alternative at the table if anyone expressed a dislike to the course offerred. One of our party ia a vegetarian, the hotel catered very poorly. Would not recommend this hotel for vegetatrians. At 90Euros per night per person (high season) very expensive compared to the several other Logis de France hotels that I've stayed in.
Review 36:Superb location very near to the ski lift.
Review 37:Nothing that i can think of.
Review 38:A lovely hotel with a wonderful view over the mountains. Our room at the front of the hotel had a decent sized balcony where we could sit and admire the scenery. Rooms were very nice and clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was adequate. A good restaurant although service a little slow at times, preference seemed to be given to people on half board. All in all a very good hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
Review 39:Hotel a little dated and room was small but adequate. Seems to bepopular with large groups, so we were forced to eat our breakfast o theterrace which was rather chilly. Same problem in the evening, althoughthe staff were wonderful and accommodating.
Review 40:Good restaurant and lovely pool. Lift, to access our room on 1st floorwas very helpful.
Review 41:I couldn't fault the hotel.
Review 42:A gem of a small hotel in a wonderful location with a magnificent outlook. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the standard of facilities was excellent. Very clean and well maintained. The hotel also has a restaurant where the food was of high quality if a little more expensive than some of the other local establishments. I would also recommend taking the inclusive breakfast as it was of high standard,
Review 43:Fine family hotel. Constantly you feel attention of the personnel andowners of hotel. Fantastic kitchen. In hotel the cozy chimney hall withbig windows from which opens a view of mountains and a valley. Atrestaurant and a hotel bar the rich range of wines, including theFrench. From a chimney hall an exit to a solar terrace where pleasantly, warmly and cozy to sit after skiing and a snowboard with a wine glass, communicating with friends. In everything the atmosphere of a ski resortis felt. Very much it would be desirable to return to this hotel, andnot only in the winter, but also in the summer. Many thanks to a familyof the owner of hotel for the atmosphere created in it.
Review 44:We stayed at Ancolie for 4 nights early March 2012 and can't praise the friendly and helpful staff enough. Rooms are clean and the hotel is very close to the ski lift, all of which makes it an attractive and good value base to ski the La Plagne ski area, but the friendly staff made it a pleasure. Many thanks.
Review 45:The room was small, but wiyh good storage
Review 46:The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean andeverything worked. The room was well laid out with storage that waseasy to organise. The view from the front of the hotel was amazing atnight you could see the village lights and down the valley toCourchevel. Breakfast was good, food at night was very good, so good weeat in every night.
Review 47:The hotel's location to the ski lift was excellent (50 metres). Thestaff were all very efficient and friendly. Our room had a lovely viewof the mountains. The bathroom was newly refurbished and very clean. The cuisine was very french and delicious. Open fires in the diningroom and lounge area. Easy access to and from boot room. Easy access tothe village shops. The village was very picturesque and had a lovelyalpine feel.
Review 48:this is the best hotel in france but then that would not be hard
Review 49:Excellent location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant were very good and will definitely be staying there again.
Review 50:Local cuisine was a bit heavy on the cheese.
Review 51:Staff went out of their way to solve our problems.
Review 52:Room too small for 3 adults. Just about ok for 2. Beds extremely hard.
Review 53:Great location. Very pleasant and helpful owner and staff.
