Review 1：Only one shower and a little kitchen for 5 rooms.

Review 2：Calm and comfortable place with very hospitable hostess and everything you need. Free parking, sauna, pizzeria on the ground floor. Coffee, tea, cacao, cookies, cereals and milk for breakfast. 10-15 minutes away from the old town. Good value for money!

Review 3：Just one point that sauna and shower are adjoined so it may be a problem for someone to wait for more than an hour to take a shower if there are people in the sauna.

Review 4：Daria is very helpful host, the guesthouse is amazingly clean, neat and cozy, oldtown is accessible by foot, if we come back to Porvo, we will certainly stay again in this place.

Review 15：The service and the sticker on the front door tells You this place accepts AmEx and Diners Club cards . Well, it doesn't. Door locking systems a bit unsafe.

Review 16：Clean rooms. Shower OK. Kitchen OK. Good mattresses. You can get an impression that some of the guests are staying there for a long time.

Review 17：There is one shower for 5 rooms and when the sauna is in use you cannot access the shower or washing machine. It is a long walk into the old town, especially in the rain.

Review 18：We had use of a full furnished kitchen and washing machine. The room was large with plenty of storage. It is above a pizza place and quick mart but we didn't hear any noise.

Review 19：Although the room we got was bigger than needed, it was just close to the kitchen. Actually it is just the living room converted into a sleeping room. We could not sleep for the noise of people stepping, chatting and even trying to open our door since 7 o'clock. It has been a kind of nightmare. The conditions of the room should be mentioned during booking. Moreover it costs more than a real hotel.

Review 22：Daria, the owner/manager was very helpful and accomodating. The guesthouse is located around 15 minutes walk from the main strip. The building is clean, has a large kitchen with everything you need. Would definately stay again. As the business is quite new (early 2014), it is worth looking up the address as locals may not know where it is, though in our experience most people in Finland seem more than willing to help whenever they can.

Review 23：The hotel owner was a little stubborn when we declined her offer to pick us up from the bus station for a fee.

Review 24：Great price for its location, 10 mins from the Old Town and 15 mins from the bus station. Not really a hotel, more like a B&B with a number of rooms in one house.

Review 25：I wonder why someone else stops at other hotels in Porvoo. Strand Guesthouse is ideal. It seems cleaner than my own apartment while I'm a good owner. Mistress Daria is ready to help in any matter: to call someone, to drive somewhere, to know something special, to give a bicycle (with a child seat), to heat up the sauna. I see very strange reviews about that guesthouse is situated far from the center. It takes only 10 minutes for me to reach the center. O'k, 15 minutes, If you walk slowly. 5 minutes of cycling. The hotel has only 5 rooms. Although all of them were busy, I have never seen a queue for the shower or for the kitchen. It was interesting to talk with guests. By the way you can dine alfresco. I'm in this guesthouse felt more comfortable than in five-star hotel.

Review 27：It was great pleasure to stay here. И, что для многих важно - хозяйка - русская, отель ориентирован на гостей из России. There was a children bed for my little daughter which she liked very much and joyfully told us that her bedlinen was with ladybugs!

Review 28：The location is a bit too far by walk. I took 25 mins. However, she suggested me to walk pass the lovely neighbourhood which is closer to old porvoo. The location was a bit too hard to find. There is no sign to tell me the exact location. I had to ask the staff in supermarket near by. There should be some signs. The wifi didnt work properly at my room no13. It lost a bit of signal around the windows

Review 41：The owner Dascha is a delightful person who welcomes you like a friend. The location is a 5-10 minute walk from the main attractions. There were mainly families staying here with young kids but Dascha made the effort to give us the quiet room upstairs. It's basically a lovely family home with all the facilities you need. Couldn't ask for more. Will definitely be back here.
