Review 1：Nothing bad really , but the electricity had been off for sometime before we arrived , the fridge had defrosted , so stepped into a puddle in the apartment on arrival.

Review 4：Everything! good location, good breakfast, excellent selection enjoyed on outside terrace overlooking the sea if desired, we were still sitting out for breakfast this week 8th to 14th November & lovely warm days in 20s. We had room 207 overlooking the church area with 2 large windows with small balconys, which also had a kitchen area in the room, a studio room with table 2 chairs & sofa plus 2 good size very comfortable single beds as well as plenty of room to move about, bathroom fine lovely strong shower over bath in all very satisfied !

Review 7：I paid 501 euro for this trip, and everyone else only paid 300. I was extremely disappointed as I did not think it was worth this amount, not value for money. breakfast staff were not great, seemed rude. I had a muffin one morning and because it went 10.25 it was taken away, breakfast is supposed to be until 10.30, if you hadnt finished eating, it was taken away, it would not happen in other countries.

Review 9：Parking is a nightmare. If you're lucky you'll find something in the nearby streets but be prepared for a long walk especially with suitcases. Car park is 22 euros PER DAY if you're only there for a few days!

Review 10：We've been to Nerja many times and for location this is one of the best. You walk out of the door and to the left you're right on the Balcon turn right and you're on the beach.

Review 11：Noisy at night with the bar next doors live music, fine if you're out late but not ideal if you have young children. Also double bed was made of 2 beds pushed together so could have been more comfortable.

Review 15：The mattresses were really thin and uncomfortable, and the furniture was really old and tattered. An update to the furniture and decor would have made it feel much cleaner and more modern. Seems like it hasn't been changed since the '80s at least.

Review 21：Room was uncomfortable and dark. Air conditioning did not work properly. Toilet seat was broken. Staff made no attempt to move us to a half decent room. At €460 for three nights, it was disgracefully bad value. Two rooms, including the one that we were in, are at eye level to the pool, have no balconies and, frankly, should be sold for at least half the price of the other apartments.

Review 27：Only negative is that with the balconies being so close, there is no privacy, we could see into other rooms and we couldn't have our bedroom doors open to see the view whilst in bed cos the rooms across from us could see straight in!!! Got dripped on whilst sitting on our balcony because the people above us had hung their wet swimming costumes on their balcony

Review 32：We spent 3 days in Toboso apartments in Nerja. We liked the setting of the place with views of the ocean. The apartment was very good and comfortable.

Review 34：There was no lift to our floor – 3 steps down then 13 up. Even though my wife had a walking stick the reception staff said no other rooms available. We booked a studio apartment, with a sea view. The room was a small hotel room, without a sofa; microwave; toaster; iron or coffee machine (all are included in Toboso web site No draining board for washing up.. No dining type table inside. Balcony had two worn out wicker chairs and a table. We complained (email) to the hotel, but they ignored us. We emailed booking.com then the hotel offered another room. This room was bigger, had a sofa, but still no dining table and only two chairs – and no room on the balcony for chairs or table. Toboso web site says that all studios with a sea view have a furnished balcony – this is not the case. The web site is a work of fiction. They probably don’t have any studios with sofa and furnished balcony. Cleaning was somewhat sporadic – some days we had a good collection of towels etc. But others no bath mat, and one day no towels at all. Staff really did not care that we were not satisfied.

The bathroom had a bad drain smell from it and it would have been nice if it had been freshen up at least once during our stay. we were give fresh towels for for the three nights, the beds or bathroom were not cleaned at all. I would have even appreciated if they had put some bleach in the toilet.

Review 51：We couldn't have stayed in a better location - we stayed in a studio with a sea view. The terrace bar attached to the hotel had a fab view overlooking the beach. You step out of the apartments and you are on the Balcon. The reception staff Javier and Melanie went out of their way to be friendly and helpful - nothing was a problem. We will be back!

A little smile and more information about the facilities of the hotel and the surroundings would lift this stay to something rememberable. I would like to return to Nerja, but would easily choose another hotel.

Review 110：Our confirmation email said we could check in from 2pm onwards. We got there early so told we would have to wait till 2pm which was no problem. When we went back at 2pm they said we had to wait a little longer. It wasnt till close to 4pm that we could get into our room. The hotel is right beside Cochranes terrace bar which can be a wedding venue. On the last night there was a wedding reception on the terrace. The music was blasting till 11.30pm followed by drunken singing. Not great if you want to get sleep.

Review 111：Apartments were clean, spacious, had everything we needed. Location is good in terms of centre of town, Close to bars, restuarants, beach. Pool was great if not a bit cold.

Next morning we had trouble remembering the way back to car, and the worst bit was having to take the carpark keys back to hotel after we got car out, on foot as no cars allowed near hotel. We only had overnight bags but someone with a longer stay might find it difficult.

Review 127：Great position near the sea, room was spotless and had everything we needed. Plenty of choice for breakfast in restaurant next door. English channels on T.V was brilliant after a day sightseeing.

Review 128：Check-in seemed to take a long time. No iron provided in studio apartment even though it was in the description. Sofa faced the wardrobes so unless major furniture move you could not really watch TV from there, you had to sit on bed instead. Bed and pillows like concrete, I had to put two blankets under the mattress cover for a tiny bit of comfort. Noise through the night terrible - from bottles being thrown into bins, wheelie bins being moved around at 04.00 a.m., the garbage truck revving and idling. Noisy people passing through the square in the middle of the night. Tried on my second day to have a siesta but the noise from room cleaning above and next door put a stop to that with beds being moved around etc. Acoustics generally bad, so much noise from other rooms. I have stayed in many hotels and apartments in Nerja and this is the worst experience I have had. On check-out I wasn´t even asked how my stay was, if I had not been in a hurry I would have been very honest but I realised it would not have had an effect. If, after all this, you do decide to visit then ask for a room facing the sea.
