Review 11：The couple who manage (own?) Hostal Almanzor go out their way to ensure that their guests are comfortable both at meals and in their rooms. The hostel is also particularly accommodating to birders. The location is ideal for birding in the Sierra de Gredos.
Review 12：Warm welcome and helpful service generally. Outstanding evening meal, representing good value for money. Also a good range of beers available with the meal. The birdwatching opportunities in the immediate vicinity of the Hostal were very rich, including the hide created by the proprietor at the rear of the building. Helpful information was provided about other bird sites in the area.
