Reviews for Mas Djoliba

Review 1:The pool has icecold water and should need just a little bit warm up to be comfortable.

Review 2:Fantastic villa with pieceful poolarea where you can relax. Very friendly and helpful staff. The building itself has a nice atmosphere.

Review 3:Very good hotel in a quiet location, at the same time close to the old town where you can find a lot of restaurants, bars, etc. Convenient for exploring Cote d'Azur with sandy beaches nearby :)

Review 4:Extremely small room for this price. Maybe the most expensive square meter I've ever paid for, in such a hotel. Not near the city center or any other interesting area. Not (easily at least?) accessible by public transportation, so only suitable for those travelling by car. Its the first room I've ever stayed were the a/c was in the bathroom and not in the main sleeping area!

Review 5:Nice pool, nice building, quiet neighborhood

Review 6:Could not find any fault.

Review 7:Lovely family run hotel, small and friendly. Great Facilties on N excellent location. Staff could not be more helpful, extremely clean throughout, lovely pool area and garden area, great breakfast.

Review 8:Breakfast was overpriced.

Review 9:Our suite was fantastic. Location, while a slight walk from the Center of town, was spectacular. The hotel grounds were beautiful, the staff was so accommodating and thoughtful, we felt pampered in every way.

Review 10:The outdoor areas were maintained in incredible condition - every surface was spotlessly clean and the pool area was the most inviting one I've seen yet. A beautiful outdoor space. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the pool. Very nice.

Review 11:It felt quite expensive for out of season. Breakfast was EUR14 per person. We found a boulangerie and supermarket on the seafront and chose to do our own thing for breakfast. Bathroom facilities a bit dated. The front garden could do with some gardening. Could be lovely as there are nice mature palm trees.

Review 12:In a quiet residential area, just a 5 min walk from a beach (down Avenue Henri Doniol & Avenue Saint Donatien) and 10/15min walk into the old town. Area to play boules was good. Helpful staff with good English. Walking distance to the railway/bus station (20mins or so) - you may not want to if you have heavy bags - we managed it OK.

Review 13:The staff was excellent, very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool with a glass of wine, then walked into town for dinner. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom very nice and clean. The best was the breakfast - served outside, with a big variety of food, fruits, cheeses etc.

Review 14:We loved it so much, we extended our stay with one more day. The place is great for relaxation and feels very much like home. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is abundant. The staff are particularly nice. We didn't feel like leaving at the end. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

Review 15:Well situated, quiet with off road secure parking. The management couple were helpful and charming. The hotel had character and a delightful, well maintained garden and pool. Good value for money.

Review 16:Delphine was a very friendly hostess and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel had so much character and in a great position to walk to local amenities. I will certainly be back!

Review 17:Arriving by car or taxi is advisable as its a very long walk from the train station when carrying luggage. Lots of rules posted around the place, e.g. no fun and games, beach balls etc allowed at the pool. Would not recommend this place for parents travelling with kids. Shower at pool gate is plugged into garden hose and was very cold. Price is high for what it is.

Review 18:Location is good once you are there- easy walking distance to beaches and restaurants etc. Quiet suburban street. Nice garden. Some parking spaces inside the property... if you get in before they lock the gate at night. Place is perhaps better suited to mature couples who wish to read and relax, rather than families with children. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 19:Room we had on ground floor was not secure if we left a window open for ventilation and we needed ventilation because it was hot the beginning of July

Review 46:Small and friendly. Would be great in the Summer - I was visiting for business in March.

Review 47:Nothing worth mentioning.

Review 48:Buitiful building, nicely located in a quiet area, had a very good stay.

Review 49:As in all non U.K. hotels no tea/coffee making facilities in room but this was a minor inconvenience only.

Review 50:Ambience, quirky, personal touches everywhere, eclectic art and decoration, attention to detail. Attentiveness of staff especially Delphine. All in all a perfect gem of a place.

Review 51:Breakfast buffet was good and plentiful, but would be nice if it varied from day-to-day during a several day stay.

Review 52:Warm, professional welcome made us feel like VIPs. Spacious suite with lovely private garden was a cozy, peaceful retreat for our family of four. Kids loved the pool.

Review 53:The friendliness of the staff, the room was light and airy. Picturesque courtyard and swimming pool area. Very quiet location but within walking distance to town. Parking at the hotel.

Review 54:Everything was perfect. Delphine at the reception was very nice and helpful. Great place to stay, hope to have the occasion to come back for a longer stay.

Review 55:I can't think of any negative point, it was all good.

Review 56:Wonderful old French building. The staff very extremely friendly andhelpful. The room was clean with nice views from the terrace.

Review 57:Mosquitoes. Size of room and shower room. Lack of light . Very dark room. Difficulty in making up. Despite the magnifying mirror, which we were pleased to have.

Review 58:Pretty garden and pleasant sitting areas. Good pool. Attractive terrace for breakfast etc.

Review 59:Staff was extremely unfriendly, no lifts and our room was so far away we had to drag our suitcases up gravel aleys and a billion stairs to get to it. Internet only works at the reception which was very far away and I was on a business trip so misleading promotion that 'wifi is available in all rooms'. Staff was very hostile about us booking through booking.com.

Review 60:Nice garden and free parking.

Review 61:Nothing negative

Review 62:Friendly staff, quiet oasis in busy Antibes, garden, swimmingpool, good breakfast outside and relaxed atmosphere. Possibility to have diner served at hotel under pergola.

Review 63:Ask for a room upstairs, as they are lighter & fresher than therooms downstairs.

Review 64:What a gem this turned out to be! Arnaud, the owner, could not have beenmore helpful, cordial or inviting. The grounds, pool and home were socharming, we stayed an extra day. The dinners were fabulous, an addedbonus. We will visit again soon.

Review 65:Pool small (and cold in May) 15 minutes walk from any other facilities.

Review 66:Friendly service. Reasonable breakfasts. Pleasant individual rooms Pleasant and reasonably priced dinners.

Review 67:Not a baby friendly hotel. There are too many stairs, no elevator and no one to help.

Review 68:The swiming pool and the garden are very good.

Review 69:very rich breakfest

Review 70:Small room, outdated décor.

Review 71:Excellent location, beautiful garden and swimming pool. Friendly staff.

Review 72:Staff somewhat rigid. Dinnertime is strictly enforced. Meals expensive.

Review 73:The pool, room, proximity to coast

Review 74:Lovely big house feel. Clean rooms & 5 minute stroll to town...
