Review 1:Where do I start... our room was stuffy, there was no airconditioner, you had to go into the hall to get the internet...the restaurant staff hated their job. The overall hotel was dated and not in a good way.

Review 2:We liked the hikes around the hotel.

Review 3:The room can be stuffy even at 5,000 feet as there is no aircon. We didn't have breakfast as it is very poor value at E16 per person.

Review 4:Excellent location, our room had views to the forest and mountains. Good sized room, fridge, bath. Dogs not allowed - excellent. Plenty of parking

Review 13:Good location; cross country walks thru the woods.

Review 14:Room was not that large, and reception staff could have been more friendly. Hotel is set away from nearby villages, so no eating options apart from the parador itself without getting in the car.

Review 20:We were not warned in advance that major works were happening which started at 8.00am and continued throughout day even at weekend. We were not offered a room on the other side of the hotel

Review 21:We arrived on a hot day in a hot room and were surprised the rooms do not feature air-conditioning.Opening the bedroom windows at night to let fresh air in also brought in the noise of other guests enjoying late night on the outdoor terraces

Review 23:Wasn't so keen on the restaurant, which was rather formal.

Review 25:My colleague and I found the hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. It is in an excellent location, perfect for walking/hiking and birdwatching. The food was outstanding with local dishes being of the highest standard which was served in a large and well-appointed dining room. I would happy recommend the Parador de Gredos to other birders who wish to stay in the area with Citril Finch and red squirrels in the grounds.
