Review 1：Very poor choice of food. Tinned carrots served as vegetable choice at dinner. Maid helped herself to chocolates that had been a christmas gift.

Review 5：Bed hard, We saw pictures of indoor pool/spa on bookings for this hotel,, but there are no indoor facilities, there is a spa across the road but you have to pay .. So it's not part of the hotel. We picked this hotel as we have a 6 year old that wanted to swim - and December is too cold for outside swimming !! The pictures on bookings are misleading !

Review 7：We started by being charged 12 euros a day for parking when there was no on street parking so no choice but to pay were given a room in the anex across the road with no view they wanted 20 euros a day to change to sea view the beds were hard and uncomfortable and the food was very poor always cold and unappetising shame because with a little effort it could be a lovely hotel will not stay again .

Review 12：It was obvious this hotel had previously been a 3* and only recently obtained a 4* rating, however I failed to see what the upgrade was for as it definitely looked like a work in progress and I thought this to be rather deceptive of booking.com. What was meant to be the hotel restaurant seemed to be closed for renovation and we had to got across the road to another building for what was called the dining room which was dreadful and was clearly a temporary situation. It was over crowded and and tables were set up like a hostel. There was food spilt on the floor in the buffet area which I almost slipped over on and when I pointed this out to a staff member it was clear they weren't interested which led me to clean it up myself as I was concerned that someone else may have had a nasty fall if it was just left there. The buffet food was average, good quality food but nothing flash and condiments were badly placed. The food offered for breakfast (which we had paid for with the B&B cost) was awful and we had to source other places to eat which cost us more than we were expecting. There was no iron in the room and no complimentary toiletries we could use such as shower gel. There were toiletries provided but these were items such as toothbrushes and shower caps which were not useful. The door of our bathroom kept locking so my friend and myself were constantly getting locked in and eventually we didn't feel comfortable closing the door properly as despite us alerting the staff, this did not get sorted out during our stay. The bar staff were unfriendly and at times quite churlish unlike the front desk staff who were always friendly and welcoming and very helpful. All of the above did not prevent us from having a good time but I would have liked to have been more informed about the truth about the star rating before I booked this hotel.

Review 13：We arrived to discover we had picked up the wrong luggage at airport and the staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic to our situation. Proximity to the beach, having a lovely pool and being upgraded to a lovely seaview room were all really good. The one thing I was particularly impressed with was the shower rooms down stairs which we were able to use on our last day so we could still enjoy the facilities after check-out and clean up before transfer to the airport. The pool bar also had very nice food as did the hotel for dinner

Review 14：Noisy at night, Bingo going on around pool until 10PM. Hotel a bit dated and could use renovation. Breakfast was mediocre at best, I guess because of the hundreds of people they were feediing.

Review 20：This hotel is a 1970's package holiday throwback. Paper thin walls between the rooms. Dated and in need of replacement furniture. Shower curtains - err. Towels that were so thin and used the must have been going since the 1970's Large dark room with communal tables for a very poor quality breakfast. Small busy pool. Snack bar serving toasted sandwiches and burgers. Miserable staff and located 20-30 minutes walk from bars and restaurants in the old town. Oh and the car park was full and the free wi fi didn't work in our room. Avoid it.

Review 22：Only bad thing was we had to listen to extremely loud aqua aerobics every day at 11am. We were over for a wedding so had a few late nights. Would have liked a few lie ins. Did not want to change room as we had paid extra for our sea view...

Review 24：Cramped pool areas for size of hotel. No roof-pool bar (there was an out of order drinks machine) Complained about Wifi not working but was told twice that 'the provider would be informed'. (Nothing happened- had no internet usage) Towels were like thin rough cardboard Carpets in corridors were in need of vacuuming all week. Bins at seaside promenade were overflowing with rubbish, sometimes 2 days running.

Review 64：Quiet location, approx.10 minute walk into centre of Nerja. We had a third floor room with a sea view and balcony which I can recommend. Only ate breakfast within the hotel so can't really comment on the food. Staff always pleasant and polite.

Review 65：Wifi connection is not working, though they say it is free in the hotel!the stuff is not friendly and the rooms are not clean (the door in bathroom was really dirty). The food in the hotel's restaurant is not good, better to go in the center to eat.

The corridors in the annex were not as clean as they should have been, the towels are grubby and old and the swimming pool in the annexe has no atmosphere. In fact I think that is the main thing missing overall. Its as if the management has ceased to care

There was no space when we arrived and unloading our luggage in the narrow one-way street outside when we were tired and hot was no fun. Then I had to drive on to search for a parking space on the very busy road.
