Reviews for Hotel Miramar
Review 1:It's a bit of a hike to get to the town! Wifi was so unreliable it was basically unusable.
Review 2:Beautiful views over the town and bay, swimming pool looked nice (though we didn't use it!), comfortable room.
Review 3:food not served till 9pm. clean but obviously in need of some money being spent on it and more guests.
Review 4:three course evening meal with a bottle of wine was very good. check in staff were very friendly and spoke English.
Review 5:Dinner was a bit mixed - lovely salad starter, nice house wine - but main course was poor and ice cream was a small tub of vanilla with chocolate - not the vanilla we'd ordered. Price was reasonable but we weren't offered the dearer option menu.
Review 6:Comfortable, clean and fabulous views. We has a great price but hotel room was definitely needing refurbished -a bit 1960s.
Review 7:The room was very uncomfortable, bed was very bad and on the day of check in, one member of staff informed me of one method of payment and on the day of check out an other member of the staff said it was another and was rude as if I was lying.
Review 8:The Wi-Fi was very good and the cleaning lady was impeccable.
Review 9:It''s a long walk into town. If i had known this prior to booking i would have booked a hotel much nearer to the town.We did use a taxi because parking in the town was a disaster.
Review 10:Quiet location with good views.Easy access to auto route.
Review 11:Too far out of the centre, hotel, overlooks the bay and town but is a very long walk dos a steep hill. Also no air-con.
Review 12:Great restaurant next door called Risco, a bit expensive but great food.
Review 13:bit of a climb from town, only outside parking for motorcycles - minor issues though, hotel is fine

Review 18:a nice hotel with good parking in front and nice rooms with a great view over the bay and when its dark the lights over the town of laredo are bril, well worth the price,
Review 19:The breakfast didn't have a great deal of choice.
Review 20:Nice sea view and friendly staff. A bit out of town but walk up hill wasn't too bad. Room was clean and nice and quiet.
Review 21:Nada
Review 22:After finishing the Camino we had walked 40km that day and was pretty wet and tired. When I arrved to check in I felt like a drowned tired rat. I was upgraded to a magnificent room with a turret window and an incredibly comfortable bed!
Review 23:The food appeared to be pre-prepared and microwaved. A tasty starter, followed by disgusting main courses. The hake had ham in it, not good for somebody who only eats fish. The bed had the thinnest white sheets which looked old. The runners in the wardrobe were rusty and full of dirt. The sink had a large crack in it. Only 1 plug serving the bath and sink.
Review 24:The view from the bedroom was good. However, there was a floodlight shining directly into our bedroom window at night.
Review 25:The food was awful, no fresh produce, everything microwaved, terrible presentation. They really should sack the chef.
Review 26:The staff were very nice and helpful and friendly.
