Reviews for Hotel Sicania

Review 1:A bit out of date, In need of updating, The sunbed area on the beach, needs more room between the sunbeds

Review 2:Perfect Location straight onto the beach and good for swimming in the sea. A lovely place to stay. pleasant Staff. Lovely well presented Breakfast. We would defiantly recommend to anybody, Thank you.

Review 3:Hotel is a bit tired and seemed overpriced this time, but it was peak season. Breakfast is expensive.

Review 4:This is the 3rd time we have stayed here on an overnight stop travelling south. Free wifi now throughout the hotel is a bonus as is the free parking. Lovely quiet location on the beach.

Review 5:Every was as I remembered it so I have nothing negative to say.

Review 6:Great location, very friendly staff, and above all I saw members of the staff who were there thirty years ago when I stayed at the Sicania Hotel

Review 7:room was a bit too small for three beds;

Review 8:closer to the beach you can't find a Hotel, because it is on the beach; fine breakfast (we only had bb); staff was very friendly; calm place in the night; beach was very clean; we enjoyed our holidays

Review 9:I was missing terrible a fridge in the room, they told us there are some rooms with fridges, but they should have in every single room. They could expend some money in refurbish the decoration in general.

Review 10:The location is perfect, specially for families with kids. Kind of a private beach; swimming pool;the food was good; staff really friendly. In general terms the hotel is good.

Review 11:There was nothing we did not like but for those wanting a full on nightlife, this is probably not the place for you.

Review 12:The location on the beach and the staff were excellent. The hotel is older, does not have a spa or rain showers but this is reflected in the price you pay. The semi private beach is quiet and you can reserve your shaded area with beach chairs at no extra cost. The hotel has its own restaurant and gastrobar for those who do not want buffet meals for breakfast or half board or you can easily walk out to local bars and restaurants.

Review 13:Pure breakfast, tired , no hairdryer in the room

Review 14:Location close to the beach

Review 15:NOTHING

Review 16:Second stay at this hotel and it is PERFECT

Review 17:A large resort family hotel - if that is what you like its fine.

Review 18:Hotel was quiet and we had a large room. Staff very helpful

Review 19:Tired decor, lack of atmosphere and disinterested bar man

Review 20:Staff were pleasant but the hotel location is stunning.

Review 21:Bedroom Spartan and tv very small. How did hotel get 3 stars with no facilities in room ? No hairdryer, no minivan, toiletries only on first day. Pool not opened, nor terrace bar and restaurant. Two stars maximum.

Review 22:Beautiful position on beach. Good parking. Few staff, but pleasant

Review 23:the room furniture old styled, the bed not so comfortable, the increase of the basic room price for an extension of stay around the 1st of may holiday

Review 24:Location close to the beach, no noise at night, the breakfast reasonably good, free parking but very full on 1st of May holiday.

Review 25:The beds could be nicer, but it wasn't prohibitive of my enjoyment and I wouldn't change to another hotel at this price point.

Review 26:Awesome location, closer to the beach than any of the other hotels and nothing but wave noise if you get a seaview room. Also, windsurfing or paddle surfing rental and classes right from a shop connected to the hotel.

Review 27:Nothing we didn't like. Not sure if there were any to borrow at reception, but there was not a hairdryer in the room, which is now pretty standard.

Review 28:Location, free car parking. Friendly staff, very efficient.

Review 29:Not our sort of hotel at all. Looked quite isolated in the photographbut it is just one of a huge number of high rise buildings. More forfamilies looking for a beach holiday. ~Breakfast very poor and had toqueue for coffee, toast etc. Very basic rooms - no hairdryer so had toborrow one from reception.Very limited parking and not secure. Bill waswrong at the end of stay but was corrected when we pointed it out. Needto rent safe. Key has room number on the tag - which is not very safe!Thought it was expensive enough for what was provided - our next choicein Spain was four star, modern and comfortable - better location andfacilities - and only €5 more!

Review 30:On the beach. Reception staff helpful.

Review 31:The hotel is literally on the beach. The seaview rooms actually haveproper seaviews unlike some places that only offer a glimpse between 2other buildings! They have lovely little balconies and big doors leadingout so at night you don't even need the aircon because there's always anice breeze on the valencia coast. The rooms are comfortable and clean.I can't comment on the food as we ate out. The bar is open until about 1or 2am and you can take your drinks out onto the terrace on theseafront. The town is a 20 min walk along the beach. There you can findloads of little bars, restaurants and shops.

Review 32:no black spots at all

Review 33:nice hotel with a fantastic wiew on the Gulf of Cullera

Review 35:The rest of Cullera No hair dryers No internet in the rooms

Review 36:Location was excellent The views of the bay were magnificent.

Review 37:Location near the see; free parking; flexibility of the staff; very friendly staff

Review 38:location, free parking

Review 39:Location, beach bar, pool, breakfast, parking, balcony, air-con. View from reception and the restaurant

Review 40:a little old fashioned in style.

Review 41:excellent location. Good service, beautiful quiet resort.

Review 42:Location very excellent, good restuarant, good food and staff talked credibly.

Review 43:The hotel needs updating - especially the bathrooms

Review 44:friendly staff and good food

Review 45:The hotel is old
