Review 1：Breakfast very basic but dinner buffet was below average, I found it was very un appetizing. There was a thunderstorm so I decided to have dinner in the hotel as the walkway outside was deserted. it was 12.50 eu for the ticket to buffet but frankly a waste of money as I didn't eat, there was a fly flying about the hot food and the yogurt had a long black hair in it!! Wifi was free if you came to reception area but you had to pay to have it in your bedroom. snack orders in bar - fast food junk standard not acceptable anymore...

Review 2：LOCATION was fabulous, very easy to find when I arrived in Roses, easy access to main centre of Roses Very clean

Review 3：Our room was 128 on the left side of the hotel from the beach. In common with all rooms on that side of the hotel there is the noise at night when the bottles from the bar are ejected, the noise of kegs and bottles being delivered in the morning and most nights the dustmen come to call. Avoid rooms on the left side of the hotel.

Review 4：Very clean hotel and rooms with entertainment in the evening and a very comfortable lounge area replete with waiters. It is a few steps from the hotel to the beach and there is a grass covered lounging area. Roses bay is beautiful and the hotel is right there alongside the beach.

Review 9：Our stay for four nights at this outdated hotel was not very pleasant. We were put in a room for disabled people with 4 beds without a balcony, it was like staying in a hospital. The unfriendly staff at the reception said they couldn't do anything about it and refused to give us another room (even though there were enough rooms free). The arrogant manager laughed at me and just kept repeating that this is all we had paid for (514 euro!) The next day we got another room facing the road side.. The hotel isn't very clean either, dit pillows and we spotted a cockroach in the lobby.. Normally we don't complain quickly but we would definately not recommend this hotel because there are plenty of better alternatives in Roses.

Review 10：The price for this hotel is in strong contrast to its value: Very old styled room and bath that have been modern in the 60th, a breakfast with poor quality food that we disliked very much and no parking on site available that was posted brightly.

Review 11：The location directly at the beach is very nice. But on the other side of the hotel is the main street of the village.

Review 12：We didn't have dinner included in our stay. We did decide to eat there one night but we were refused entry as we did not have the little cards which we were given with the key. In fact one of our party had thrown it away!

Review 14：The bed was quite uncomfortable. There was no additional toiletries, except for the built in shower gel and handwash, for the price we pay. Check in process is quite long. Paid WIFI can only be used for 1 device. There are sun-beds are in front of the hotels for the guests, which is not mentioned on the hotel website.

Review 15：The buffet breakfast was amazing. Very close to the beach and shops. Nightly entertainment was added excitement. The was a great view from the balcony. It was a quiet area.

Review 16：I don't even know where to start: "free" wifi wasn't working - staff reaction was: oh, sorry, but you always can buy paid wifi(my 3€ will not make you rich, but it is simply fraud); I was woken up at the middle of the night (around 1 am) - someone was checked-out and they need to move my car; beach was overcrowded; bed was awful - small pillows of unnatural form; room had sand on the floor. It was the worst hotel experience in my life.

Review 18：Not a bad experience but it would be nice if there was a smoking area away from the doorway to the beach. As with so many places there is a cloud of smoke in the mornings.

Review 19：I would like to thank the reception staff for being so helpful and friendly. I always look for a comfortable bed, nice decor and bathroom, ease of access (lots of parking opp hotel if the car park in the hotel is full). The pool is small but adequate. This hotel met my expectations.

Review 20：Lovely hotel right on the seafront. Would suit mature couples, as the neighbourhood is quiet lots of parking across the street from the hotel. Roses is very nice, very clean beach.

Review 21：The parking is very limited, but there is free public parking just over the road. The bed was not very comfortable and the room is quite compact.

Review 22：The hotel is by the beach, yet it is easy to get to. There were bars and restaurants just outside the hotel. The hotel offers a buffet dinner at a reduced rate of 12 Euros, which is very reasonable.

Review 23：Initially we were given room 118 which overlooked the hotel restaurant roof which didn't make for a very pleasant outlook and did not feel secure as the roof had stairs. After complaining we were given 319 which was lovely. Chambermaids and bar and restaurant staff were lovely but we were not impressed by the receptionist who checked us out. After giving us our receipt she walked off without a word. This gave us an unpleasant final impression of the hotel. Pool was disappointing very small and located at the front of the hotel next to the road.

Review 31：*I have been charged extra 20€ for sea view and indeed this hotel does not offer any clear sea view. There are big trees upto 3rd/4th floor in front of room windows. Therefore the sea view was not clear and there was no point to charge an extra amount for this. While booking we have selected the option to have an upper floor room and we have also mentioned in special request section that we are on our honeymoon. On our arrival we were offered a bedroom on 2nd floor with two "single beds" with an unclear sea view. On our complain we were provided a room with double bed but again on 2nd floor. The reception guy said that there are no more rooms available on upper floors with clear sea view although we have made our booking in 10ndays advance. *The sitting area around reception was connected to the hotel Bar and in this Bar there was very loud live music until 12am. It was absolutely impossible to sit in the reception area to read a book/newspaper or to hold a conversation due to very loud music. *The staff could hardly speak English. **We have not received for what we have paid.**

Review 33：For us, the room was over-heated so we had to keep opening the balcony doors. There seemed to be no way of controlling the heating which is separate from the air-con. However the weather was unusually mild so maybe that should be taken into consideration. The swimming pool is outside the hotel and although it's covered, there are no changing facilities - not so good in winter!

Review 34：Very well-placed right on the beach and on the edge of the town centre, so easy access to shops, tourist office, walks along the beach etc. We spent 4 nights over Xmas and really enjoyed it. Plenty of food, and good variety, friendly staff. Despite a couple of niggles, we would happily stay there again.

It is "non-smoking" but you smell smoke everywhere and can't enjoy even to sit in the lounge unless you don't mind breathing smoke. Review 88：We had the impression that there was a indoor pool, sauna etc on site but this was not the case. Those facilities were at another hotel but it was closed. The buffet food was good but not very good. The evening buffet salads were very good but the main course choice was not that extensive. It was Xmas but the food did not reflect this.

Review 98：Payment procedure - I was asked to pay upfront, which I find quite rare. It happend after the reception desk saw my nationality (passport). I had a strange feeling that it was driven by that, as I saw other people paying at check out. However, I am not sure about it.

Review 100：Cleaners removed towels after 1st night and did not replace until complained for replacements. Every day thereafter only had hand towels in the room! Pool at rear of hotel situated in a cramped back yard in the shade, not at the front overlooking the beach like other nearby hotels, (see likes comments). Reception staff not exactly helpful when asked basic questions on topics such as public transport etc. Bathroom very cramped with restricted access to the toilet!!

Review 101：Its right on the beach. The look of the Hotel Maritim and Hotel Terraza nearby, would recommend them as alternatives on the same stretch of beach. Comfortable beds.

The car parking facilities were terrible unless you were disabled, & judging by the amount of disabled spaces compared to non disabled, most were disabled. The bulk of the clientel were geriatric coach trippers from Germany & Belgium.Not a hotel for independant or family holidaymakers.

Review 105：The promoted indoor swimming pool is not really indoor - it is rather an outdoor swimming pool with a mobile glass roof over it, which is situated at the parking place of the hotel through which one has pass in order to get to the pool. This was a big disappointment.

Review 107：Stayed for a week in May 2013. This has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in for the money we parted with. We cannot fault it, location great, good food, staff more than helpful. even the pool that some people moan you have to walk through the carpark to is not a problem, it's 30 yards and sitting by it is less windy than on the beach side of the hotel. Never had a problem parking either. Already looking for dates for next year.
