Review 1：There is some noise from the corridor and neighbouring rooms.

Review 11：Rooms were noisy as the walls were paper thin, you had to pay 3 euros for ice and an extra 4 if you wanted it delivered to your room. it is difficult to find as you have to pass under a railway line to access the Marina area. Parking is an extra 6 euros per night. Not much to do or see once you have seen the Marina area once. More of a business hotel. Bar staff could occasionally appear to be happy.

Review 12：Evening meal is a set 16 euros which is very reasonable. It is a modern stylish hotel on the face and it overlooks the marina and the sea to one side.

Review 17：If I were to make one constructive comment, that would be the servicing of the room. We felt that sometimes it wasn't 100%. The blue cushion smelt of something strange and we placed it outside. Not sure when it was last changed. Also, the balcony was never swept or mopped. Didn't spoil our stay though! This is just a constructive comment .

Review 29：The staff were amazing, in particular we would like to thank Laura who organized our stay superbly. You are 5 minutes walk from the immaculate Sandy beach. There are enough beach side restaurants and cafes to choose from and its on a 40 minute train journey in the center of Barcelona. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's only a 45 minute taxi from Gerona airport which is 90 Euros if booked through hotel.

Review 31：Great location in Matarò. Close to the train station and to the many free beaches. Swimming pool is available but at the time was full of noisy children. Room was big enough for 2 people and the bathroom was really big! Wifi was not bad, sometime slow sometime faster. Room was quite and with a powerful AC system.

Review 42：The apartament felt like home away from home. Superb kitchen with proper utensils and more than needed, specially travelling with young children and a baby. Cleaned nicely daily, very quiet room and a/c was fantastic(no noise coming from it). Pool area relaxing with just enough sun beds for guests. Staff helpful.

Review 43：Cleaners didn't give enough new towels (had to put them on the floor due to lack of hanging options), a bit far from everything, untrained personell who couldt reply to obvious questions such as were to park in barcelona centre. Restaurant is really nice, but the food was bed. Clearly premade and just heated. The town is probably the less cosy one north of barcelona.

Review 62：A very comfortable hotel in a great location overlooking the harbour and we even had a sea view and a balcony. This hotel also has apartments in the main building if you want to self cater which are a good size. The free wifi was a bonus. An underground car park although chargable by the day is very secure and helps keep the car cool.

Review 63：The name of hotel in Booking. "Atenea Port Barcelona Matarò" make you to think the hotel is in Barcelona Port, which is not. It is in Matarò 30 minutes outside Barcelona driving by car. 45 minutes by train.

Review 64：Plastic under sheet on the bed. It didn't breathe and what was a lovely large bed was made uncomfortably hot and sweaty. They ran functions over the weekend (weddings) and it was a little noisy in the evening, but it didn't go on too late.

Review 65：The location was great as there aren't many hotels in Mataro on the shore side of the railway line. We used it for our base for the Grand Prix and they ran a shuttle bus. All very easy.

Trains to Barcelona were regular and cheap(compared with UK) and station was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel offered a holiday by the sea with easy travel to Barcelona and would be great for those not wishing to stay in or drive to a large city. The hotel also appeared to be very child and family friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Review 82：We liked the location of this hotel, it was a great stopping off point for our journey as we came off the Barcelona ferry late, and they have there own underground parking. The hotel is on a marina and surounded by restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and spacious, and a great breakfast.

Review 87：Staff were fine and usually friendly but it was difficult to get served at the poolside bar since the bar staff have duties inside the hotel so disappear for periods. Without a sea-view room there wouldn't be much of a view and I imagine given the close vicinity of the train station, it would disturb a light sleeper. Our room was a twin when we arrived, I requested a double and was told there was nothing available unless I wanted a side room with no view. They were trying to get me to drop it but when I kept pushing I was told our room could be converted by housekeeping the following day - that should have been the original offer. Drawers in the wardrobe were broken. Spa was too difficult to find out about so it put you off bothering; it should be a welcoming and relaxing experience. There was nothing special about the hotel, it was very functional. It had everything a hotel should have but somehow just didn't feel all that welcoming.

Review 88：We had a sea-view room looking out on the marina which was lovely and the beach was less than 5 minutes walk past a selection of restaurants. Hotel is right beside the train which goes directly to BCN city centre in half an hour and is very reasonable. Rooms were clean and comfortable for the most part. Shower was great! Gym was small but well equipped and never seemed to have more than 1 person using it. Poolside area was nice but if there were a lot of people, most wouldn't have a lilo. I would recommend the hotel based on location and cleanliness but it could do with some work in the area of hospitality.

Review 89：I had a query with the room rate I was charged. I contacted booking.com whom I booked this hotel with & eventually I was asked to forward the hotel bill which I did. Heard nothing for approx 2 weeks & then I received an email saying that my query was resolved.... AMAZING as I don't know how that conclusion was reached! Despite sending further emails I've heard NOTHING! So as I've been asked to rate this hotel I am trying again to communicate with booking.com. I don't have an issue with the hotel just the rate I was charged.
